you think so? make a comparision with 2003 and 2004 performances just by taking 2 audio recordings, for example tokyo 25.10.2003 and MV 04. i personally think chester sounded a bit weaker in MV 04 . the same happened for Europe Tour 07 to Europe 08 / PR 08 with the step europe tour 2008. best example to me is Lying From You. chester already sounded weaker in his 2 verse lines at the middle of PR 07, and in 2008 it just got very very weak in my eyes. 2009 was not that much better, that's why i am not surprised that it hasn't been played so far this year.

i defo go for 2008. band was not interacting much, perforamnces got imo worse and you could really have had the impression that they were tired in PR 08

many pages say so to get most people *directs to istanbul 2009* . i just can't imagine that the band prevents one broadcaster from airing their show but allowing it to another.. that would be ridiculus lol

it won't be broadcasted. even multishow do not have the rights if i'm not mistaken. and if they broadcast it will not be the complete show. they also broadcasted about 45min of the RATM show which was also surprising to me, so i highly doubt that we will get much footage of LP if we get any

to see newer stuff which is usually slower than old stuff? now thats a question of taste. if you like it, i won't complain. but i personally don't like it

i am talking about mike shouting out before the show (he shouted out the name of the town they were playing in mostly and asking them if they are ready and to go crazy etc. 'til 2006 and stopped doing it since 2007) this must be the first time he did it again and i am glad he did it, imo this is a good way to get the crowd going crazy from the start x)

he searches for a very strange band, otherwise i'd also put my hands on it, there are 2 other traders who taped the show, they are not that easy to get though

thats why mike said in an interview back in 2004 that they had to think about adding stuff to their set.. yeah a couple songs were dropped, still, nearly all the older shit was played. i did not complain about the MTM era either. if the band does not rotate their sets starting in europe then this is in my eyes for sure one of the wrongest decisions of their live career ever, they can really start losing their old fans who did not like ATS because it was not the stuff they hoped for (including me). they said they would play enough from all eras. then they should rotate everything imo.

just cause its 'ridiculously old' it does not mean that the band is not allowed to play it. now should be the time to bring back some nasty old stuff actually, starting up with 11 songs from the new album is unfortunately the complete opposite at least papercut is back
