  1. Hey guys, this is my remix for the contest: Please feel free to comment on it! https://soundcloud.com/user-226469010/mike-shinoda-watching-as-i-fall-reflections-rmx-2018 My girlfriend and I discussed this as lot and we came to the conclusion that it would be a reasonable idea to reflect on the whole situation that we have to face since last July. Therefore, I broke down the song to an acoustic arrangement and wrote a verse, kinda like a response to Mike's lyrics. I hope you like it, this is my first remix ever. It took the whole week to think, record, mix, master and edit the remix, but I've learned a lot. Good luck to all remixers! Please be so kind as to listen to this remix in full, there should be some little surprises...
  2. What is your favorite Linkin Park live moment and why? From 2000 to now, whether it's a show you've been to or not, what is your favorite moment of the band's live history? I concentrate on one of the shows I've been to: The greatest live moment for me was Linkin Park live in Cologne on January 21, 2008 with the debut of In Between. I guess most of you will agree that In Between is not their strongest song and I wasn't a fan of it until that day. The show was nice up to that point, lots of great songs and emotions but that certain thing was missing. Until Mike's keyboard part came in. Everyone seemed to know the words and a lot of people in the crowd were surprised that Mike sang the whole song live. I really enjoyed the whole vibe. 14.000 people singing, lots of lights in a dark hall and that certain feeling to experience something for the very first time. Being a fan, one knows the songs and their live recordings. But listening to In Between live was the very first time and a really special moment.
  3. I collect DSPs as well but only the shows with several highlights. I think I got most of the PR:07 and European Winter Tour 2008 stuff due to a lot of cool intros and setlists and overall great atmosphere. I think my favorite DSPs from this period are Cologne, Hanover and of course Auburn. These shows really rock and I listen to them regularly. Auburn sounds best to me in terms of quality and it has that certain cool atmosphere. The band debuted a lot of intros and the crowd really seemed to be into the show. I love No More Sorrow and Bleed it Out, both seem to be perfect to me. Regarding PR:08 and the 2009 shows, I only got the most interesting ones, e. g. Dedicated over Points, Reading my Eyes/Points etc. Anyways, I believe it's a real pitty that Brad used a different rig this cycle. I loved the band's live sound before MTM, hopefully they can improve on that in future. With a bigger sound, the DSPs would be even better.

    My Suffering

I am quite disappointed, I think the screaming in the verses really made the song. I don't like the new version, it is too soft in my opinion.
  5. I don't know if this has been posted, but there is a new video of My Suffering. It seems as if the took out the scream verses... Hopefully the album version will have it.
  6. Wow, this is indeed very interesting. It sounds too real to be a fake. This seems to be Chester, Mike and maybe some other guy. Perhaps this is a collaboration? I guess the best thing would be to ask Chester or Mike on Twitter/his blog and see if they can remember.
