could it possibly just be religious reference? I know it's unlikely, but in the lyrics we know from The Catalyst there is mention of "GOD bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under LOADED GUN" and also "sins of our hands, sins of our tongues, sins of our father(s?) the sins of our sons"

I actually don't have any physical LP singles...so I'm gonna pick em up starting with this one the album art is ridiculously sick and I would kill for those stickers lol who knows? maybe this song/album will be legendarily successful and it will become a big collectible.

Also I have a question. Does anyone know when albums usually go up for Pre-order on Itunes? Is it like a week before it comes out? Do you think the pre-order on Itunes will come on begginning of September or sometime during August? Cause when that get puts up for preorder we can see how long each track is.

I'm pretty sure it's one week for some of the lesser bands, but usually they have a "countdown to _____" and that starts when the first single comes out. Usually. It could be anywhere from one week to a month. My guess is when the single hits but don't quote me on it. Unless I'm right

And to all of those saying people are "flipping out" or "complaining" I'm sorry but I truly feel like if only 10 of the 15 are actual songs I will be a tad disappointed (pending that those instrumentals are ten seconds long. If they are full and wholesome then no complaints). I agree, quality over quantity any day of the week. I thought Wake was a decent opening, and so was foreward (my only exception of a BA short instrumental), and session & C4TI were amazing. But having more than two or three instrumentals seems like it might water down the album. Again, certainly quality over quantity. But those phone calls on Reanimation? kinda annoying. My iPod's shuffle was getting pissy with me.

At the LPU M&G in bonner springs in 08, we asked chester and mike what they thought about the PA stuff on minutes to midnight...they said they don't put anything on there unless it is what they are really feeling and whether they feel it is necessary. They also said Rick Rubin told them feel free to let go with it, there are no limits or restrictions.

Yup, and as far as Forge is concerned, it was done in Halo 3, in 2007. Along with File share, saved videos, and all the rest.

 

That was Halo 3. Reach has expanded on everything, including Firefight 2.0

 

MOH is going after the Modern Warfare brand, pretty much polishing up a few thing here and there. In other words. Even if it did top MW, its still just copy and paste with a few added bells and whistles. Reach on the other hand is expanding and adding on to the innovations of a 3 year old game which has yet to be topped in terms of features, and pumping it full of steroids.

 

Its basically an unfair argument lol, the 2 games are light years apart.

and on the note of the snippet itself, I liked it. Certainly not my favorite LP song yet, but of course it is only a small piece of the puzzle. I must say though I do not like that they put so many effects on mike's singing voice. It's way too crambled and distorted.

Apple will lose a lot of money won't they as a result of so many LP fans buying the album from lp.com rather than itunes and receiving the mp3's lol. Clever Warner!

A lot of bands seem to be doing it now...I remember I pre-ordered Chevelle's Sci-Fi Crimes last fall and got the album one week before it's release via email thru pre-order. Idk how much it would affect apple though. Most of the people only buy single songs on itunes anyway (I would assume).

Can you change the shipping address before they actually ship it? Im not sure where ill be living come november as ill be job searching in september.

yep! I just found it a few minutes after i asked. You go to your receipt in your email, click "check order status". It will take you to a new window where your receipt and shipping info is visible. Where it says "ship to" click Edit.

And there you go. Notice that since it doesn't ship until september, you have a while to change/update your shipping address.
