[AndOne] Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Tonight LP's going to perform at Jimmy Kimmel Live for the 3rd time (not counting the Transformers 2 Premiere show, which ended up being featured on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show later on). They played there in 2003 (show page here) and a special show in 2007 ( show page here) with a few more songs than usual at a different venue. The TV schedule says the band will be on the show tonight AND tomorrow, but they'll only perform tonight! We'll see what happens about that. LPL staff member thefullmonty will be reporting live from the show via twitter, follow him here. Here's a video of their famous performance in 2003: Any guesses for the setlist? We need the soundchecked LIES GREED MISERY. Maybe another new song? SETLIST: 01. BURN IT DOWN 02. BURN IT DOWN 03. LIES GREED MISERY 04. Faint 05. New Divide 06. New Divide 07. Numb 08. What I've Done Quote
lakersfan13 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I'm really interested in seeing what songs they choose to broadcast. My guess is BID and WID tonight, and then LGM and Numb tomorrow night. Quote
RogueSoul Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 SOUNDCHECK SET (According to Evan) Lies Greed Misery Burn It Down (Sped Up) Wonder what the fast version of BID sounds like. Quote
jakolp Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Burn It Down Lied Greed Misery Numb What I've Done Tonight it'll be one new and one old and tomorrow the other two. Quote
Victor Del Porto Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Probably will be a full setlist, but the TV will only show a few songs right? Quote

RogueSoul Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Evan says: BID, LMG, faint, new divide playing for sure Edited June 28, 2012 by azAZ Quote
Victor Del Porto Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 no Because in 2003 and 2007 the concerts had full setlist. Quote
[AndOne] Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 The 2003 set is actually incorrect, we haven't come around to fix it yet. We learned recently that the "confirmed" set on the show pages is completely false. It was just a set with around 8 songs. 2007 had more songs because it was in a different venue, so LP could turn into a real show with a slighty shorter full set. Kimmel sets are usually just 6 to 8 songs. That will probably the case for tonight too. Quote
RogueSoul Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 If the pattern is like their doing it on the show (New - Old), I hope its something like this: New Divide Burn It Down Numb Lies Greed Misery What I've Done I'll Be Gone Faint Lost in the Echo Or something along those lines Quote

lakersfan13 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Thanks AndOne for these informations. Oddly enough, I prefer the way this sentence sounds, the way you wrote it. Even if it's grammatically incorrect. It just sounds more interesting, lol. Quote
RogueSoul Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Burn It Down Burn It Down.... again Faint New Divide ([Quoting Evan] Fucked Up Breakdown) ...New Divide Numb What I've Done Edited June 28, 2012 by azAZ Quote

Ghost812 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I'm hoping for a new single to be played, but we'll see what happens. My guess Burn it down. Quote
RogueSoul Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Assuming the last song will be LGM. I have no idea why the fuck they repeated BID and ND EDIT: Btw, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm editing my post above with the setlist Edited June 28, 2012 by azAZ Quote
lakersfan13 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Sorry No need to be sorry. I wasn't criticizing you, it sounded awesome! Quote
Dave-Stone55 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 New Divide messed up again and no APFMH this time? Seriously though, hasn't this happened like several times on this particular song? Or were the other times just Mike or Joe playing the wrong notes? Quote
demoncarnotaur Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Burn It Down Burn It Down.... again Faint New Divide ([Quoting Evan] Fucked Up Breakdown) ...New Divide Numb What I've Done What the hell type of setlist is that? Why haven't they pulled out a new song yet? Quote
Geki Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I watched it. Performance was good, I guess. It was really just BID and Faint, they always sound the same live, nothing really spectacular, bland, solid live songs. But I wish they didn't cut Faint, that sucked. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 so that thing about BID speed up version was a lie ? Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 The sped up version was the soundcheck I believe. Quote
lerkid Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I guess they'll show the rest of the set tomorrow??? Quote
