I was going to have the TINFOIL/Faint, but I wanted POWERLESS to be played, so I moved Faint down to the encore and put POWERLESS after TINFOIL. I also switched Breaking the Habit with CASTLE OF GLASS, Numb with IN MY REMAINS, and New Divide with I'LL BE GONE. I considered having A Place for my head being in the Bleed it Out bridge again, but I love the song, so I thought it deserved a full performance. Instead, I put Burning in the Skies in the bridge, as I feel that song didn't get enough love. One Step Closer was going to be the ending song, but Bleed it Out, for me, has always been the best closing song. The LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent balled was removed and Shadow of the Day was removed all thogether. Would also feature the first live performance of POWERLESS, Robot Boy, I'LL BE GONE, and two mashups, LOST IN THE ECHO/In the End and Given Up/VICTIMIZED.

I personally thought The Requiem and Papercut with the speech intro was one of the best combos, so I put that as the opener. LOST IN THE ECHO is the most likely intro for new shows though. Faint directly follows that, because that is the kind of song that is played near the beginning of shows. With You and Runaway bring back a lot of nostalgia for hardcore LP fans, and they should be played more (have a feeling that, With You may be dropped for 2013. Hope I'm wrong.) Blackout because I thought it was a great song that didn't get played enough. Robot Boy shouldn't need explanation, and Jornada del Muerto/Waiting for the End because one shouldn't be played without the other, they just fit. I replaced what would normally be Breaking the Habit with TINFOIL/POWERLESS, and the ballad with CASTLE OF GLASS, I'LL BE GONE, and IN MY REMAINS. Fallout and The Catalyst just have to be played together. Crawling has been brought back after a small hiatus, and One Step Closer with the Reanimation bridge to close off the main set. Empty Spaces and When They Come for Me open up the encore, as they should. UNTIL IT BREAKS is a good candidate to follow that. VICTIMIZED could also work. ROADS UNTRAVELED just seems to fit in the encore, and Bleed it Out with the Place for my Head and Burning in the Skies bridge.

Eh 4 out of 9 shows getting APFMH, I guess I could handle that but that's less than half.

 

Cutting Crawling for P5hng is genius, I'll take it all day long. IBG and POWERLESS over LGM all day. And Numb over quickly and with a new intro. Done. I'd take that. Too much New Divide but there's P5hng in there so I won't complain at all. A set with APFMH and P5hng is good stuff and I'd enjoy seeing it quite a bit. That's a pretty solid setlist at the end of the day.

• The set remains as short as possible while including as much music from the band’s library as possible.

• No More Sorrow’s bridge has the band going quiet and encouraging the crowd to chant “Thieves and Hypocrites” loud enough for Chester to answer with a scream and the song to continue. The outro is a kin to A Place for My Head's

• Mike raps verse 1 of Asbestos over it’s riff before leading into the intro of Given Up

• The Battle Axe Medley: Chester performs the bridge to Lies Greed Misery over the riff of A.06 which then transitions into Wretches and Kings (Intro/verse/chorus) followed by the Victimized/QWERTY mashup.

• Numb is played acoustically with just Chester and Mike onstage

• The opening verse and chorus to the piano rendition of Pushing Me Away is played before the band restarts the song as the full rendition of P5hng Me A*wy

It was hard to make the end explosive and the middle kind of had to be like that because there aren't a lot of high energy songs on MTM, ATS or LT (minus the nu-metal sounding songs).

That's where A Place For My Head, One Step Closer and Faint come in. And for the beginning of the set, Papercut, Lying From You, and From The Inside. Meteora and Hybrid Theory have it completely covered for the explosive parts of the sets, haha, the only help those albums need in "heavy parts" of the set is No More Sorrow and maybe Blackout (if you count that one as high energy).

 

You can't get rid of the tracks from the first two albums or they will legit lose a lot of fans at the shows. Minutes To Midnight is fantastic, I enjoy A Thousand Suns a lot more now, and I dislike LIVING THINGS a good bit other than POWERLESS, IN MY REMAINS and CASTLE OF GLASS (and VICTIMIZED/QWERTY live), but for me their best albums are the first two. When I am at the show, my favorite songs are the songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora (excluding Numb simply because it's so overplayed).

Please for the love of God, that encore is fucking miserable live. One thing you did get completely right is replacing LIES GREED MISERY with CASTLE OF GLASS. IN MY REMAINS and CASTLE OF GLASS are both solid songs...LGM live, however, is pretty bad.

I think Faint #2 would be better than #3 but hey, I'm down for wherever it is. I just moved it up one spot on my list. And I put VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) before Points since it has been kicking ass right there. Fuck New Divide. It ruins the energy at this point. Added AMBO to WID because fuck it. And here's something so easy for the band to do - just take the Set C encore and use that. It's not nearly as epic as Set B but hey, this is very doable. LITE/Papercut/OSC destroys BID/ITE/BIO, especially if BIO has no extenders. Or do a WID (Ambo Intro)/Papercut/OSC encore and move LITE up.
