[High_Voltage] Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Is it just me, or do Blackbirds and Waiting for the End have extremely similar song structures? Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Is it just me, or do Blackbirds and Waiting for the End have extremely similar song structures? Other than how the songs end (Waiting for the End has a lot of vocal layering stuff over the last chorus), yeah they do. I never really noticed that before. Quote

Sucre06 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I do not see any similarities between these two songs < Blackbirds & WFTE ... unfortunatly Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I do not see any similarities between these two songs < Blackbirds & WFTE ... unfortunatly the song structure is almost identical intro rap verse 1 chorus verse 2 chorus bridge rap and then the difference lies in the final chorus: in waiting for the end, the intro rap is layered over the final chorus in blackbirds, the final chorus is sung with no additional layers Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I kind of find Blackbirds and Points Of Authority more alike than Blackbirds with WFTE. Quote

dark_master Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 intro rap on blackbirds??? did i miss anything??? Um... yeah. Like the intro rap, you know. Quote
avo17 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Um... yeah. Like the intro rap, you know. +1 lol the song structure is almost identical intro rap verse 1 chorus verse 2 chorus bridge rap and then the difference lies in the final chorus: in waiting for the end, the intro rap is layered over the final chorus in blackbirds, the final chorus is sung with no additional layers I would say that that's the structure for Blackbirds, but WFTE is slightly different: intro rap verse 1 verse 2 chorus verse 3 chorus bridge rap and then the layered chorus you mentioned Quote
