He has absolutely horrible technique, and lacks an understanding of playing musically with dynamic contrast. Listen to other drummers, like... Danny Carey. Shit, even Bourdon's an okay drummer. He's just not up to par with other drummers that I've heard, and I've seen the way he disrespects his equipment, and that's pretty frustrating.
