I spent the entire weekend fixing stuff that was broken from the last crash. I had to redo a lot of the php pages that were lost and had to recheck all the pictures and readd a lot of those, which took the most time.

CB is the only section I haven't really touched yet. I'll recover the broken stuff + add a couple more pages that weren't there previously.

  • If chester did a singalong part in BIO, this should be included in the song notes in the setlist.
  • on both the DSP and s1, the From The Inside intro sample seems to be working fine, why do the show notes say it was faulty?
  • are we sure that the run time for source 1 at this show is 90m? because my version of source 1 is 94m 56s ... I'm downloading the whole FLAC now to check I don't have a mix of rips
http://lplive.net/shows/20080116.php

can we put the taper notes with the source they apply to? I know they are the same taper but, for example, which source had the mic slip? also "...opportunity tu use his..." <- spelling mistake

  • we already have In Between debut mentioned in the "Debut" section, we don't need this fact mentioned in the "show notes" anymore
  • also, what exactly was the nature of the "mess up" on In Between's outro?
  • can someone confirm the run time of the DSP for me, because my copy is not 88m 8s but 87m 56s. I am 100% positive that none of my tracks are from a different source, but why is mine cut slightly?

  • new supprt acts section mean we dont need the list of other bands that played the show in the "notes" section anymore.
  • can we add in the workprint to the sources - "A0b", perhaps?

my copy of Wake is 1 second longer. that's the only difference between your times and mine.

so why on earth is my iTunes showing this up as being 87m56s!? particularly if my track times are longer than yours, and your version is showing up as being 8 seconds longer?

seriously, I am so confused by that

EDIT: no joke, this is what I see on my iTunes - https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hpho...965368343_n.jpg

my files are always 0.3-0.5mb less. odd.

forget about it, i just found out it's because the cover picture.

ok. I'll leave it for now. this thread isn't a place for discussion anyway, so any further info/questions on this, I'll make a different thread somewhere else for it.

I'm not hugely bothered if I do have different files, I'm just trying to check what I have against the guide - it seemed odd that the same source could have a different run time to what I expected.

-- end of Koln '08 comparison discussion --

My Cologne is 87:56 and 201 MB. I bought the CD at the show and download it directly from the website back in 2008.

No idea why the time on the show page is wrong, stuff like that happens I guess, but I noticed that players sometimes give you different total runtimes. I guess it depends on their math, how exact they add up the split seconds and their rounding.

I hadn't really thought about the fact that some programmes would calculate run times differently

but thank you for clearing this up, I was convinced that that wouldn't be a mistake in the guide and my files had something up with them :P

"Now that whole area became the parking garage for U.S. Airways Center."

the grammar here is a bit strange, "Now that whole area is..." or "now that whole area became..." would be better

http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/19970315.phpwrong year date on the page: "Date: March 15, 2000 and Earlier" I can see how this mistake was made, I do stuff like this all the time :Pthe "and earlier" can also be removed if the show card in the pictures confirms the date!

03/22/03: album is almost out...

Location: san francisco

i'm hangin in san francisco, mixing some songs for MTV $2bill. we let MTV2 record our show in detroit so you guys who couldn't make it to the show can have a look. the tour has been a lot of fun, and we can't wait to get out there on PROJEKT REVOLUTION, and see more of you guys. it's our first big tour following the release of the album on the 25th here in the US. check for tickets now, they're going fast...

as you can imagine, the excitement we feel right now is inexplicable. the album is going to be in stores this week. and whatever happens, please know that the most exciting thing right now is for you to hear this new stuff. we hope that in listening to it you remember the best memories you've had with our older music, and are ready to make new memories listening to our new music.

we sincerely thank all of you for coming to the shows and doing so much to support the band. we have put a ton of work into the music and art for the album, and hope you enjoy it.

[...and we can't wait to play you the new songs live--see you on projekt rev...]

Tour Journal by Rob

04/25/03: Update

Location: Billings, MT

Hey what’s up, this is Rob. I’m here in Billings, Montana at the Metra Park Arena. We’re coming close to the end of Projekt Revolution 2003. It has been a great tour so far. Hanging out with all the guys from Blindside, Mudvayne, Xzibit and Guerilla Union has been great. All of the bands and the crew has been super cool. It has been another successful Projekt Revolution tour in that we have continued to blend all styles of music together and expose our audience to acts they haven’t heard of before. During our set, Xzibit has been coming out for “’Nobody’s Listening” which has definitely been a highlight of the show. We’ve hit a lot of smaller markets on this tour that we didn’t get to hit on the first Projekt Revolution and it has been cool meeting those fans for the first time.

Catering has been a real hit and miss so sometimes we’re a bit hungry (and I hear today is one of the miss days). On a positive note, we have played for some of the best audiences on this tour. We’re all really happy with our set design and lights and think that the look of the show is really incredible. Our crew has done an amazing job putting it all together. We’re sorry we couldn’t make it into more markets and continue the tour for a few more months. It feels like we’re just getting started but will definitely continue our headlining dates at a later time.

We’re really looking forward to Summer Sanitarium with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, and Mudvayne. Playing right after the Deftones is definitely going to force us to put on the best Linkin Park show possible.

We’re going to be shooting a video for our second single faint when we get home in a couple of days. Video shoots are always super long days but the result makes up for the work that goes into it. We’re looking forward to seeing a lot of you out there. Having you guys out there will make this a special shoot.

what makes your think that?

The first one you are talking about is the Webster Hall show, this has nothing to do with Sessions @ AOL.

Maybe the Toronto date was moved from the 2nd to February 1st (or just a mistake) but the show happened on February 1st. 100%. Just google for it, reviews, pictures all have this date.

sorry about that, my mistake.. i confused 14.3 with 14.5.

even tickets, i know. but the thing is, that's from fortminor.com (but they can mistake also etc..). Edited by Skipees

January 11, 2006 it was changed from the 2nd to February 1st on the website. At least on the website there is no newspost that the show was moved. It seems more like a mistake to me. There was a news post about the other shows that had to be changed, nothing about Toronto.
