I would have had them make a better beat and would have told Mike to write a better rap on Blackbirds and then would put that song after In Pieces.

I forgot about ASP. I remember when I first heard it and QWERTY I was like "this doesn't sound different at all" :(

I understand your decision to get rid of Valentine's Day and could maybe see somebody cutting The Little Things Give You Away...but you seriously would cut No More Sorrow? That song is so awesome!!

I love No More Sorrow, but i like all the other songs better (besides TLTGYA and VD). I guess I could eave it in there and there could be one more track

I can't believe you would kill off No More freaking Sorrow! Especially over tracks like In Between and Leave Out All the Rest!

And don't get me started on The Little Things Give You Away... That song is in a higher class of it's own IMO

I'm completely neutral to Valentine's Day though.

I don't know, I actually like the B-sides as b-sides. Although, they really could have worked NRL in there, but I'm quite content with MTM. :P

It's actually an idea I got from another board. MTM is really the only LP album we can do this with since Meteora only has A.06 and Hybrid Theory only has High Voltage (which has a transition from Cure for the Itch, so it's pretty obvious where to put that one).

I agree with you with No Roads Left coming after What I've Done. Back when the record first came out, I bought it on Itunes and slipped it in after What I've Done. Because to me as Hands Held High is to No More Sorrow and In Between is to In Pieces, No Roads Left is to What I've Done. Simply because both songs lyrical content is somewhat in league with one another, so it fits perfectly as What I've Done's followup track.

The Professor says:

This is the most logical and best flowing tracklist in my opinion. (Adding the tracks you mentioned; and a twist at the end just because)

1. Wake

2. Given Up

3. Across The Line

4. Blackbirds

5. Leave Out All The Rest

6. In Pieces

7. Bleed it Out

8. No Roads Left

9. What I've Done

10. Announcement Service Public

11. QWERTY

12. Hands Held High

13. No More Sorrow

14. Valentine's Day

15. Not Alone

16. In Between

17. Shadow of the Day

18. The Little Things Give You Away

--------

19. Lockjaw (Bonus Track)

20. New Divide (Bonus Track)

...

However, it should be noted that The Professor prefers to arrange all of the LP material released between Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns in this order. Sort of an EP between MtM and ATS if you will...

01. Blackbirds

02. She Couldn't (Thanks LPL!)

03. Across The Line

04. Pretend To Be

05. Not Alone

06. Lockjaw

07. New Divide

I typically throw She Couldn't in between HTEP and Hybrid Theory along with Dedicated.

That does make more sense, I suppose. I do throw Dedicated in with the HTEP, so I suppose if nowhere else, She Couldn't fits there the most. She Couldn't is noticeably different than the other tracks on my fake EP, and it flows better without it.

Here's what my between MTM/ATS looks like:

1. Announcement Service Public

2. QWERTY

3. No Roads Left

4. We Made It

5. New divide

6. Lockjaw

7. Across the Line

8. Not Alone

9. Brad's Yo

10. Blackbirds

11. Pretend to Be

It's just in the order that the tracks were released (unless I made a mistake). It's cool to see that I'm not the only one who does this lol.

haha nice, I actually have a playlist of ALL the b-sides/bonus/misc tracks LP have release at this point... (not including demos or remixes or collaborations)

1) She Couldn't (1999)

2) Dedicated (1999)

3) High Voltage (2000)

4) My December (2001)

5) A.06 (2002)

6) Sold My Soul to Yo Mamma (2004)

7) Announcement Service Public (2006)

8) QWERTY (2006)

9) No Roads Left (2007)

10) Lockjaw (2008)

11) New Divide (2009)

12) Across the Line (2007) (released 2009)

13) Not Alone (2010)

14) Blackbirds (2008)

15) Pretend to Be (2008)

so IMO that is the ultimate list of b-sides. Though I dont have 'brad yo'. How long was it? I dunno if its worth having in the list really xD

About 30 seconds, and it was basically a 5 second loop.
