His last PS HEAVILY implies he believes she is in a cult. Which is a pretty ignorant take, given there is no correlation anymore between her and them. Believing that she can just post on her socials a smiley picture saying fuck the cult im out of that bs is being delusional. Nobody can do that. It is the world we live in.

My god... How dense can one person be? Scientology IS a cult. She IS a member (if you have different information on that, please share). So TECHNICALLY she IS in a cult. Other people hate her just for this FACT, which is their thing - I don't. But I can acknowledge facts, which you are obviously having trouble with.
You really need to stop interpreting what other people think or what kinds of people they are. You are not good at it, and it's reaching unseen levels of logical fallacies. Not withstanding the fact that it gets insulting with your constant assumptions. So, please, call a spade a spade, so we can discuss something concrete. Everything else is needless trolling.

 

I would love to chill for now, but I also can't let such behavior continue to happen. So, sorry for everyone who feels "disrespected" because of this off-topic excursion.

You got proof shes in a cult? Nope, you don't (now you are going to say her mom was in it and the whole mars volta thingy) but you will fail to show evidence that she is in it after that. Therefore my dear trumtram, who is making assumptions now? She talked about the mars volta thing confirming what we all knew.

So which behaviour you want to stop from happening, assuming our lead singer is in a cult and calling their cashgrabs, or people calling out this behavior? Genuinely curious, and again, please dm me nxt time to avoid going off-topic, its a matter of respect towards the community.

He doesn’t, and you don’t have proof she isn’t. To me the whole thing about this is just mere speculation. “He says she says bullshit” if you will. (Yes I’m quoting Bizkit to make a point) We can argue about if she’s in or not all day long, but it’s not gonna change anything. My interpretation of the whole situation is even if she wasn’t in @Cesar656is right in that she can’t just say “fuck this shit, i’m no longer in” without repercussions. My assumption is that she probably isn’t an active member, or is still only to keep family ties. I don’t think Waiting for the End would get someone that emotional onstage if they didn’t relate to the lyrics in such a personal way,  Stuff like this is extremely challenging. I can respect and understand that.

now let’s get back on topic…

even with this, the tour went extremely well. I’m happy for the band. They went through a loss than could’ve been the death knell for them. Instead they came back stronger than ever and are delivering their music to a whole new generation of fans. People often forget that a younger casual fan who only knows a few songs (maybe some new ones) who goes and sees Emily perform old material is compelled to check out the older stuff on streaming or YouTube or whatever. That also keeps Chester’s legacy alive too. I know it’s a touchy subject for some people, with the lack of any consistent tribute in the set, but I think at this point they don’t want to dwell on the past too much, and I don’t blame them, I do hope we’ll get something for MTM20 next year, a lot of fans are asking for it, I wouldn’t be upset or shocked if they didn’t though. Part of me thinks we will, but I think it depends on timing for new music, which is obviously going to take priority.
