RogueSoul Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Germany, Germany, Germany. I've had a very fun two days being inside you so far (pause), and the fun isn't stopping yet! The From Zero World Tour's final leg continues with its first of three two-night stands, the first of which will conclude with tonight's second show at Hamburg, Germany's Volksparkstadion on June 3, 2026! Like with the last post, I'll skip the history lesson for what is now our third show in Hamburg this tour (you can read up on Linkin Park's Hamburg history in the 2024 pre-show post), but one fun fact I'd like to share is that yesterday through the afternoon and evening, Linkin Park held a Linkin Pizza event in Hamburg right outside the Grünspan, the site of their very first German concert in January 2001. Stopping by to see a piece of Linkin Park history before grabbing an admittedly quite good slice of pizza and singing karaoke next door with a bunch of Linkin Park fans - all I can say it was a great off-day for the tour for the fans! This all comes after the band performed a huge show for night one at the Volksparkstadion on Monday. Things got spicy immediately, with 'Lying From You' opening the show for the first time ever after Inception Intro B (with 'Iridescent' vocals) introduced the band. Act I continued in generally normal fashion, with 'New Divide' with its Short Moscow Intro making its first appearance in Europe and 'The Emptiness Machine' returning to the closing part of the Act after opening the show in Stockholm, Sweden. 'Somewhere I Belong' notably did not get performed at this show, making it the first time the song, as the staple opener for the majority of the tour, had not featured in a set since the band's return. Act II kept the surprises going, with 'Stained' (featuring Emily playing keys for the first time) as the first rotation and 'A Place For My Head' making an appearance mid-set after 'Waiting For The End.' For his solo medley, Mike whipped out the chorus of 'Step Up' and verse three of 'Until It Breaks' before 'Unshatter' made a welcome appearance as the heavy rotation of the night! In Act III, 'Breaking The Habit' solidified it's spot after the shortened 'Lost,' both making a return on this leg right before 'Good Things Go' rotated in. Act IV didn't feature many crazy surprises with 'Over Each Other' being the rotation song and no real shenanigans during 'Numb.' The show wrapped up with 'Heavy Is The Crown' and 'Bleed It Out' - the latter of which curiously featured 'A Place For My Head' as its bridge verse, even though the actual song was already played. I feel like I could see Mike realize that fact in his head mid-way through the verse BUT, with LPLive in the crowd there can never be too much APFMH, so no complaints here. Linkin Park opening their show at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany on June 1, 2026 with Inception Intro B and 'Lying From You,' the first time they've used the latter as an opener. Night two is always where things get spicy. Though the band has only done two shows so far, they've gotten through a considerable amount of the rotations. Not much is missing from the tour, but songs yet to be rotated in include 'Points Of Authority,' 'Castle Of Glass,' 'Cut The Bridge,' 'From The Inside,' 'Casualty,' and 'Given Up' - and it's very likely we see at least two of these pop up during this show. However, if past precedent is anything to consider, night two is usually where Linkin Park has been bringing out the big guns in terms of deep cuts or debuts on this tour. At the last night two-night stand in Boston, we saw the return of 'Lies Greed Misery' into the setlists, which remains the last song to get an Emily/Alex/Colin debut to date. Still missing from 2024 after the series of revivals this year are 'My December' and 'Friendly Fire' as well, which would both be welcome surprises. Will the band have anything in store for their second night of Hamburg? And not to get anyone's hopes up, but we saw copies of a setlist floating around yesterday that featured a certain song that didn't end up getting played so... if the rumors are true to be believed, we could have some tasty things in store for us in Hamburg once again. Linkin Park performing 'A Place For My Head' live at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany on June 1, 2026. What rotations do they have in store for us for night two? Once again, the band will be supported by two opening acts: first up is Phantogram, an electronic rock project from New York that fills the arena with some ethereal jams. Hits like 'Black Out Days' and 'Fall In Love' will get you both moving and entranced, perhaps in the same way Mike did when listening to Phantogram helped inspire his own song 'What The Words Meant.' Following Phantogram is Clipse, the rap duo consisting of Pusha T and Malice. Delivering powerful bars and rugged instrumentals, the famous duo fill the venue with a sense of urgency and groove as they proceed Linkin Park. As we've been mentioning before, Pusha T has previously collaborated with Linkin Park a number of times, most notably on 'Good Goodbye' from One More Light - will we finally see the album get some representation in the setlist AND some more onstage collabs? Time will tell! Phantogram performing their song 'Black Out Days' at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany on June 1, 2026. Who's going to the show? Myself, AndOne (Jonas), and Jon Barker will all be at the venue ready for another round of action - and this time I'm in the pit, so get ready to get rowdy with me if anything crazy goes down. After some success on Night 1, I'm going to attempt to livestream the show from the LPLive Twitter account again (connection allowing), so stay tuned on that front during the show! I'll remember to turn on comments this time. Weatherman Rogue Soul has boots on the ground and can unfortunately report that tomorrow will be a wet one, with rain forecast throughout the day with a high at 21°C and a low of 15°C (69°F - 59°F for my fellow Americans following along), so bundle up, stay as dry as you can, and get ready to jam! Linkin Park continues their tour from here through Germany with two huge shows headlining Rock am Ring and Rock im Park up next before they head over to Vienna, Austria for more headlining show action. As always, we are looking for pictures or scans of a number of items from the band's 2025 and 2026 tour, including wristbands, tickets, setlists, exclusive pop-up store content, and more. If you have anything to contribute, check out our thread on the matter and submit your pictures directly to us - if they meet the mark we will get them uploaded to the show pages and credit you (and also blur your information out where applicable)! Last year we launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, and will be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! bloodbath Posted June 2 Posted June 2 "a certain song that didn't end up getting played" SPILL IT Quote
LPLStaff Posted June 2 Posted June 2 There are now so many songs that are in rotation that it's going to be impossible to guess the set. What would be cool: -From the Inside to open the show -Just change the opener every concert lol -Rotations for N2: Lost in the Echo, Keys to the Kingdom (in the Unshatter/Let You Fade spot), Points of Authority. Given Up hasn't been played in a while - there's still Casualty too. So many songs. Keep it up, these sets are rocking. Also could see it like: N1: Lost (Short) -> BTH N2: Lost (Full) Quote

The setlists had been very predictable before the band's return I wish Keys to the Kingdom would open the show some day, but I know it's just a dream Quote
MMM Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) Casualty, LYF, Cut the Bridge, IGYEIH - If they play these songs, the entire FZ will be played in Hamburg. Throw in POA, FTI, SIB and we'll have the best double set ever. Edited June 3 by MMM Quote
Cesar656 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Curious to see the opener now, maybe crawling? The certain song that didnt get played is obviously blackbirds Quote

There is no Unshatter/Let You Fade slot, because they are two different slots. 26 minutes ago, Cesar656 said: Curious to see the opener now, maybe crawling? We haven't seen any confirmation of a full band on stage soundcheck. The crew tests a million multitracks (even from rehearsals) of stuff before the shows. Unless a band member posts it, it's hard to believe unless we have concrete proof. Bern was an example of one people thought was a soundcheck but they didn't do one. Quote
