RogueSoul Posted July 10 Posted July 10 We have once again reached the end of the road my friends, but the action has not let up! Linkin Park will be wrapping up their From Zero European Tour with one more massive stadium show at the largest stadium in the country: the 80,000 capacity Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France on July 11, 2025! It wasn't long ago at all since Linkin Park last played in the Paris area - months, in fact! Linkin Park's most recent show in the city was in November 2024 at the Paris La Défense Arena, kicking off the second "leg" of dates in 2024 following the launch of the From Zero era. At the time, we had only been privy to three songs from the record: lead single 'The Emptiness Machine,' League Of Legends anthem 'Heavy Is The Crown,' and the newly release, the first Emily-led track of the new era, 'Over Each Other,' which got its live debut at this show! The massive 28 song setlist featured many songs that didn't make it into 2025 in favor of playing new songs from the new record, including 'Lost In The Echo,' 'My December,' 'Leave Out All The Rest,' 'Breaking The Habit,' and 'Friendly Fire.' It's cool to look back at the 2024 setlists - these shows didn't happen too long ago, but it feels like so much has changed and happened since then as far as Linkin Park's live performances go that it feels like a lifetime ago that we were covering this show! The band's last show in France overall was actually just a few weeks ago, when they headlined Hellfest in Clisson for the second time ever, with a powerful set that rocked the infamous crowd with much more success this go around, with the likes of 'Lying From You,' 'From The Inside,' 'Two Faced,' and the European tour debut of 'A Place For My Head' in the encore bringing a metal fervor into the set. As it was relatively recently that we covered the entire history of Linkin Park in Paris, I won't go in too deep with the details (and with 13 overall appearances in the city alone now, there's a lot of details), but we can cover the highlights. The band's first show ever in Europe took place in Europe in January 2001, a small promo show for Rock Sound Magazine at which less than 100 people were in attendance for. The band rocked Paris early on the Minutes To Midnight World Tour, headlining a show at Bercy in May 2007, opening with 'One Step Closer' and ripping the brand new (now essential) outro to 'Faint' to close the show. The band's most legendary moment in Paris has to be - you guessed it - when they whipped out 'A Place For My Head' unrehearsed for the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory in 2010 on the A Thousand Suns European Tour, sending both the crowd and the online fanbase into a frenzy! With this being their biggest show in the country by far, we're sure the highlight reel will only grow longer with this show! If you want a full rundown of the band's history in Paris, check out our pre-show post from the 2024 show in Nanterre! Linkin Park performing 'A Place For My Head' impromptu at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France on October 25, 2010 for the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory. This was the only full performance of the song on the whole album cycle, and a performance of the song no fan can ever forget. Linkin Park's latest shows were nothing short of a journey. The band headlined two sold-out nights at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, and each night brought a set of surprises! Night One saw the band abandon all sense of reason with the Act I rotations, whipping out three of the tracks being rotated in that spot: 'Cut The Bridge' (which, at this point, is now locked into the setlist permanently) performed once again with the short Moscow Intro, 'Lying From You,' and 'Points Of Authority.' During his solo medley, Mike whipped out 'Until It Breaks' verse three - if you've been around for awhile, you'll remember this one from the old Apaches Intro to 'Waiting For The End!' Following this, 'Keys To The Kingdom' made its first appearance since Grand Rapids, Michigan in May in the heavy rotation spot! The action in Act II didn't stop there, as 'One Step Closer' wrapped things up with Sam Carter from Architects coming out to perform the song with the band! The song became an epic scream-off between Emily and Sam, and with two screamers on deck, the parts Mike usually shouts live were screamed like on the studio version by Sam! 'Stained' took the ballad rotation spot at this show, racking up its fifth performance ever since its debut in Baltimore, Maryland in May. 'Let You Fade' was performed after 'Numb,' with the rotation spot previously held in the encore moving down to the end of the main set. The number game saw 'Numb' performed with a half-time intro and outro as the band continued the trend of continuing the game at the end of the song. Speaking of intros, the extended intro to 'Overflow' saw something especially cool on Night One in Frankfurt, with Mike performing the synth melody of his song 'Nothing Makes Sense Anymore' from Post Traumatic over it, the first time the song has appeared live in any format! Night Two was just as eventful, and hit us with perhaps the biggest surprise yet of the whole tour! Act I got flipped up more, 'Lying From You' staying in but 'New Divide' (reclaiming the Moscow Intro) and 'Crawling' subbing in. In a surprise move, 'Castle Of Glass' was rotated out for 'Over Each Other,' and with 'Good Things Go' featuring later in the set, that brought two of the songs normally played in that one slot into the set! Mike continued to treat fans during his solo medley, continuing the love for The Hunting Party started with the tour debut of 'Keys To The Kingdom' the previous night with the debut of verse one of 'Wastelands' over his medley, the first appearance of the song in any form since 2017! 'IGYEIH' made another massive appearance directly after, and Sam Carter came out once again to rock 'One Step Closer.' 'A Place For My Head' rotated in in place of 'Let You Fade,' and then things got really interesting. The band switched around the end of the show and the end of the main set, with 'Heavy Is The Crown' and 'Bleed It Out' (with a verse of 'Reading My Eyes' over the extended bridge) closing out the main set. The encore featured 'Papercut,' 'In The End,' and a classic closer of 'Faint' with its extended outro. Aside from 'Papercut,' this was the first time all of those songs featured in these respective positions all tour, and the return of 'Faint' as the show closer was a huge hit amongst fans. Linkin Park closing out their second sold-out show with 'Faint' at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on July 9, 2025. This was the first time since 2017 that the song closed out a show - which do you prefer as a show closer, 'Bleed It Out' or 'Faint?' Or perhaps we even take it way back and throw in 'One Step Closer' into that mix too! With two nights in Frankfurt and perhaps their most successful European tour ever behind them, what will they whip out to wrap it all up? The band managed to run through an impressive amount of different rotation songs between the two Frankfurt shows, only missing a couple of the heavier songs: 'Casualty,' 'Given Up,' and 'From The Inside.' And to be fair, all those songs had been played in Germany at prior shows on the tour as well. If we've learned anything on this tour, it's that the setlists are truly unpredictable at this point, so it's hard to say what'll be chosen for the final show of the tour. 'A Place For My Head' historically has gone down well in this city, but 'Let You Fade' has yet to be heard by France overall. Mike's solo medley has been a source of a lot of rare material too - would be cool to see him wrap the tour up with a verse from 'High Voltage' or even 'Hands Held High,' but whatever he decides to rap will be nasty no matter what! The last time the band wrapped up a tour leg they debuted 'Let You Fade' during the encore, so who's to say that 'Unshatter' won't finally make its live debut here? Let's hear your predictions below! The band has two opening acts for this show: JPEGMAFIA, who has played a few shows with them already, and ONE OK ROCK, who are making a one-off appearance with the band for the tour! JPEGMAFIA will bring his abrasive hip-hop fervor to the stage with tracks like 'SIN MIEDO' and 'I scream this in the mirror before I interact with anyone' while also bringing a more chaotic, fun energy with tracks like 'SCARING THE HOES' and 'Lean Beef Patty.' JPEG opened for the two shows in Frankfurt and at I-Days in Milan, and will rejoin the band again in the United States for their west coast shows. Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK will also be supporting Linkin Park as well for the first time ever and the only time on the whole world tour, despite having quite a history with the band. Many of you will remember lead singer Taka from the Chester Bennington Tribute Show in 2017, where he performed 'Somewhere I Belong' with the band. ONE OK ROCK were slated to open for Linkin Park that summer on the One More Light North American Tour, but as that never got to happen, this'll finally be their moment to perform with Linkin Park! With tracks like my personal favorite 'Save Yourself,' as well as others like 'Make It Out Alive' and 'The Beginning' currently in their 2025 set rotation, they'll definitely make this performance count. ONE OK ROCK performing their song 'Save Yourself' live at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan on September 21, 2024. This is a band who has been looking forward to this night for a long time - and you should be too if you're going to see them open for Linkin Park in Paris! Who's going to the show? I've had a few days off back Weatherman Rogue Soul is back and happy to report that the tour will be wrapping up with a beautiful day with sunny skies and some hot temperatures! Things will heat up to 29°C during the day on Friday, so be sure to stay cool and hydrated before the show if you're out and about! This leg of the tour may be ending, but it won't be long before Linkin Park are back on the road - they'll be embarking on the longest leg of the tour yet (and the longest leg of any tour they've done since 2014) with a second run of North American shows kicking off in Brooklyn on July 29 before continuing with two nights in Boston and another in Newark. I will see you at all four of these if you're going, and I'll be jamming with Hahninator (Mark) and GlassCastles (Nico) at them too, so get ready for another wild ride and get recharged over the next few weeks as both us and the band gear up for this next part of the tour. Linkin Park will return to Europe in Summer 2026, with headlining shows across the continent (including a stop in Lyon, France) and a number of festival shows including Rock am Ring 2026 and Rock im Park 2026. We've been updating our Linkinpedia show pages over the last few weeks leading up to the tour with new features like more statistics, highlighting rotation songs, a banner at the top of the guide, and lots more, so be sure to head over there and explore what we've been up to! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! And if you haven't noticed, we've made some upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers so both sites should be running a lot more smoothly now! We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! I didn't pay the twice normal price to the band 1/3 of the time in the middle of the crowd, i wanna see them on stage together. Oh shit, about the stage, being front row, the stage was definitly way too high!! Hardly could see the band when they took a step or 2 backwards. Whole show production was great. Soundwise and all. Same. can't believe i'm saying this because at first i dislike the 360 stage, but i actually prefer it now. Rewatching shows they did last year with the 360 stage production it seems to have more a punch than the European setup imo. So glad my show's gonna have 360! Edited July 12 by thor3 Quote
Cesar656 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Dont get the hate, if you are in LPU pit u see everything perfectly. Catwalk is nice for fans that cant have that perk. They spend most time on normal stage tho. Its okay to not complain from time to time Quote

Fleur de Lys Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) Mike is out there on the catwalk 5 songs out of a 28 song set. That’s 23 songs to look at Mike for your Golden Circle experience. The band is there 2,5 songs. Emily some more, for screaming bridges etc. But all in all, it reeks of entitlement to think that you get to have the band for yourself just because you had the money for a premium ticket.
