Linkin Park Announces Summer 2026 European Tour

In a surprise announcement and taking full advantage of the Champions League performance,  Linkin Park has announced a summer 2026 European Tour! This tour will visit cities and countries the band is very familiar with like Hamburg and Munich, along with new stops in new locations like Florence, Italy and Lyon, France! The announcement so far in advance of the dates takes advantage of the band's Champions League performance as well as the tour kickoff for Europe that happens in a few weeks.

 

 

A major festival announcements is included, as the band will be returning to Rock in Rio Lisboa in Portugal for the first time since 2014. The festival posted (and then deleted) a teaser that included a clip of "New Divide" along with a shot of Brad Delson from the 2014 show. 

 

 

Also included are stadium shows in Stockholm and Vienna, with a heavily-requested return to Madrid, Spain too.

 

There are gaps in the tour, as usual, so be on the lookout for more shows over the year for next summer! Where will you be seeing the band next year?

In this gap dates i bet there's also some brand collab or something, like the LOL Worlds or the Champions League.

Football World Cup 2026 will take place between june 11 and july 19h, so we can cross off LP being involved in it's opening as it was being rumored.

Seems like next year could be Australia/NZ, Europe, and Mexico. That would work.

 

They really hit some of these mega-requested spots like Spain and Portugal with this. And there are gaps for more shows... maybe they play Download since it's in the middle of June - hence no UK dates.

I think we're at a point where it will be increasingly rare for LP to be at Rock am Ring. After Rock in Rio was as good as confirmed, I was thinking about a festival tour. But it looks like the band will stick to their line in Germany and concentrate on headlining shows.

 

In Germany the band now has a cult status comparable to GnR, Metallica, etc.

I'm making the payment at LPU, but they're denying my card. I don't know why. I want to buy the ticket on Tuesday at 11 a.m., two hours after the LPU Legacy. Tickets are on sale to the general public on Friday. I don't think they'll sell out, but just to be sure. I want to become a LPU member, but I can't.

By the way, the venue in Madrid is outdoors. It looks like a Linkin Park-only concert, not a festival.

 

Does anyone know if VIP tickets with a meet-and-greet like those used to still exist? Or do VIP tickets no longer include that?

What?!?! Huge surprise. 

I think this little european tour will be a break from a studio work. I don't expect big touring in 2026 since 2025 is huge enough for a comeback. Dave said that they want to go into the studio much more frequently because they are not young anymore... or revenue from the concerts is so big that they will turn into next SOAD for the rest of their career XD

2) LPU M&G do not exist right now, that sucks so bad, when i met the band back in 2015 i probably was more excited aobut the m&g vs the show.

I had to create a Revolut account to pay the LPU.

The venue in Madrid is quite big, with 15K capacity. A few time ago the Motley Crue + Def Leppard EU tour was there.

I'll try another card later, otherwise I'll set up a Revolut account. It's a shame I can't pay LPU.

By the way, some information about Spain:

"General sales for Spain will begin on June 6 at 9:00 AM (local time), and tickets will start at €84, including booking fees. All tickets are for standing room only (no reserved seating)."

 

Many people complain about the location, which is so far from the city, with sand. I think access will be crazy, and there will be a line starting in the morning.

 

I don't know if there will be an area near the stage for LPU members separated from the rest, I think this has been done in other cities, otherwise I don't know what advantages there are to being part of LPU except for the pre-sale days before, otherwise, with no audience in seat and everyone standing, it will be crazy to be in the front row.

Well well well looking out for those who said they wouldnt tour in Spain. They literally had promo in Madrid, it was an obvious call.

Will make sure to buy the tickets, doubt they will sell out tho, fan base is not huge in Spain

Is a show in Florence a solo headline or a festival? If I remember correctly right after announcement on a site it was listed as “Firenze rocks”, but now it has been changed to “Visarno Arena”, which is the same venue, which hosts this festival this year. No info from festival accounts, so I am very curious about, as I prefer a headline show rather than festival.

What the hell does this mean? If I get a LPU membership now, the presale ticket won't work? Would I have to be a LPU member before the announcement? God, I can't believe this

The Spain LP community is small but noisy. Unfortunately, LP here is still viewed as a 2004 band, and many people who liked back then just see them as a nostalgia act.

Saw that LP and LPU said Firenze Rocks, but it's a solo headline show at that same site. It's not part of the festival. It's LP on their own.

It looks like they do this to prevent scalpers from signing up. You need LPU before the announcement.

This is so crazy. 😄 Met some guys from LiveNation around 2h before the announcement and we even talked about Munich not being part of the tour this year…

Now I know why they said „this year“. Didn’t realize it during the conversation.

Sharing LPU codes is possible. You could ask some of the dudes here on LPL if they are ready to share it with you. Especially the US guys who probably won’t go to Europe for those shows.

If I'm not wrong, you can buy up to 4 tickets per show and 8 for all the tour. If someone goes to, idk, Lyon and not Madrid, they can share it with you.

Interestingly it looks like the LPU website now says, "Passport Plus memberships purchased starting September 5th, 2024, and onwards will have access to an exclusive pre-sale when available." So you can join now and be in the second presale, just not the Legacy one. This is right from the LPU page: https://lpunderground.com/pre-sale

From what I've read they did play 3 shows early on in 2001 with Deftones, '03, '08, the MTV show in 2010 and 2017, that's it. I might understand their frustation but they somewhat stopped being popular there since MTM even if there's still a small loud minority who likes them.
