The saddest part is that even it's already soldout in Madrid, if LP or the promoters say it's the only date un Spain, it will be the ONLY. They never add a second One.

That's not always true. You can renegotiate the contract.

Last year a festival announced a headliner as a exclusive date. A few days layer another festival announced them two as headliner.

I can't remember who they were or the festivals but I think one of them was Rock Imperium or another in the area.

But I'm talking about LP. And trust me the first time I saw them in Madrid was in 2003 so I have a some "experience".

They've never added a second date.

*But! I  MUST say that I didn't expect they sell out in minutes (because of price, and day of the week).*

Madrid selling out is a surprise, as the country is not really rock oriented but hey, good, maybe they will come more often

Not this kind of rock, cuz acts like AC/DC or Maiden can easily sold out two stadiums shows.

I was at that venue in 2023 watching Motley Crue and it's too small for a band such as LP. I don't expect them to be as popular as they are in Central Europe, but the promoters have been too cautious. I'm pretty sure they would have sold out the Wizing Arena, which for those outside Spain, it's similar to the O2 Arena in London in terms of capacity.

That arena is much smaller than where they are playing in 2026 (34,000), but the promoters seemed to have either been too cautious OR booking around Rock in Rio, there were already holds at the bigger stadium that prevented LP from using it. These holds are commonly placed well over a year in advance by bands - imagine when the negotiations began for Rock in Rio 2026... likely at the end of 2024 or very early this year. It's longer and longer out from the show than ever.

If the venue isn't booked on the 24th, they could come back and add a second show there that day. There are two days off before Italy. Sometimes these contracts/deals *do* get renegotiated if the promoter comes back to the band's agent(s) and says "we will offer X amount for a second show due to the insane demand" - that certainly seems to have happened in Germany in 2025. The Frankfurt N2 show was added way way way after the tour was announced.
