I also feel that she's getting less and less nervous, and can control her voice and sustains more and better. She's dropped that weight by now and they go full steam ahead for greatness.

I also feel this way.

@JZLP-Benningstrong I bet you had a blast last night, the show in Guadalajara was the best night of my life (1st time seeing them live). I wish we got From The Inside, it's one of my favorites from that album, but overall great performance from the band. Btw kudos for the pre-show post ! ! !.

Our prayers have been answered! From The Inside appeared during the encore! I watched the videos, she did well. I also liked Given Up, probably her best performance of this song.

I'm curious if these three versions of the set will remain unchanged throughout the year or even until the summer, or maybe they will add new versions or rotations... Time will tell, or if you prefer, "It's only a matter of time". ;)

They really could do a Set D, just repeat one of the other intros and use POA/Lost in the Echo. And even an E with BTH/LOATR. There are so many possibilities lol

They are doing a fantastic job keeping the shows interesting for fans to follow.

they still have the variations for each set, so they could still change things around without having another set.

In 2024 they were (at the end) more songs than rotation spots. But i think they will change many other things around mid year

It's very natural for them to get tired of playing some songs and wanting to change a little bit.

Probably the second semester will see a few changes.

I think the setlist from the Guadalajara show is the best of the three setlists so far, with Keys to the Kingdom and Lying From You, but the other two are good too.

KTTK and FTI would be the dream, but... APFMH is a banger

I wish Guadalajara setlist had those 3, it would be perfect, but one can dream.

I agree, both songs were a nice surprise, but I rather have APFMH. Aside of that, it's a strong setlist.

hey im just having a moment to talk about my show I'll give some notes

-Thank you for convincing me about keeping my GA ticket the catwalk experience was badasss the band spends a lot of time there i was so close

-for the very first time i left a concert without ringing in my ears the volume was really low.. it was that low that I could listen to others people talking and other AWFUL singers the sound quality was poor

-very energetic performance from everyone

-emily reminds me of Jared Leto she lets the crowd sings wayyyyy too many times i dont go to a concert to listen to awful crowd singers  it was annoying she should do 90% of vocals

-i love FTI but its not a song for an encore, its the perfect mid set song for an encore you need bangers bring the heavy shit

-emily already proved that she can't do Given Up she sounds awful the bridge its way too difficult for her she already does Heavy is the crown that's her screaming moment and she nails it

-lost, good things and overflow are insanely good live, specially Lost the guitars sound really huge

-overall very good show the fans like emily she's starting to feel more comfortable and she's starting to act like herself, very nice presence

-mr hahn looks very excited and happy he's really into the show

- i need more of Colin on guitar it seems like he's a badass guitar player

-alex was awesome

-the setlists are almost perfect very good job the Mexico City set was the best one the energy of my encore wasn't that great

-they should open every show with The Emptiness Machine its their best new song perfect  for this era it flows perfect with the new intro, SIB its just a decent mid set song too weak to be the first song.

The Emptiness Machine as a opener, From The Inside replacing Given Up and another song in the encore (maybe Lost In The Echo) and BANG, good setlist.

She gets the crowd to sing because she can't handle some of the songs. Some fans like to think she does it so the crowd get to honour Chester but this isn't the real reason.

She's capable of singing almost every song i mean its okay to let the crowd sing ITE and that's it but it kinda felt like a karaoke party lol

The only song so far that Emily can't do is Given Up the screaming section its too long cause it starts with the big ass  GOOOOOOOOODDD that section before the long screaming its heavy enough for Emily or anybody so when she has to do the long screaming she's already drained.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people complaining about the live sound ever since the comeback. Even when watching some videos the mix does not sound the best compared to shows in the past.

Also the sound could be lower on outdoor shows due to loudness regulations/laws etc

Somewhere I Belong is one of the best Linkin Park songs.

Don’t worry, they most likely won’t…it was similar in Hamburg where I went to see them. I was kinda surprised not getting blasted into the face with big sound. Especially when you are on the floor in front of the speakers.

For real the sound system of my truck gives me a better experience than how LP sounds on 2024/2025

In 2015 the sound was awesome very loud and with nice quality, Pooch was the man.

#FireTheFOH 😂

Posted

They really need Pooch back or the FOH guy (don’t remember or know his name) from the 2017 shows. The OML shows sounded pretty good even without Pooch

I'm going to play grandpa and say shows without excessive loud volume are a nice change of pace.  Of course it has to be a minimum immersive as well,  it's all a matter of balance.

But believe me when I say, you don't want permanent hearing damage. It can turn your life upside down, and one single excessive concert without adequate protections may be enough.

That was it, my grandpa moment, not going to stir it up further 😇

Posted

Yeah, I was at Hamburg too and the general volume was quieter than other shows of other artists. Yesterday I was at a LP tribute concert and my ears are ringing a bit (I had my earplugs on the first half of the show), I didn't have it after Hamburg.

Watching videos from Monterrey and Guadalajara I noticed that people talking was at the same volume or louder than the PA. Maybe is something about sound regulations? I don't remember it quite well but maybe in Argentina (2017?) they had to turn the volume down because local restrictions?

Posted

The sound was quite low at the Forum and Barclays. Mainly talking about the intro samples like LFY and POA. Barclays was just not mixed that great, the intro of the show was insanely overwhelmingly loud bass to the point where we had no idea what song was on the Inception Intro.

Arlington was a stadium show and sounded incredible, though. That was mixed VERY well, you can even hear in the audience videos how fantastic that was. The comeback show in-person was mixed well at Warner but standing under the speakers that came out into the crowd was obviously better.

It's hit or miss. Not sure what to think yet as we are still only a few shows in on the world tour. The 360 shows seem to present some sound challenges for the band. If you are too close at those shows the sound is going to suffer, you need to back up a bit.
