UK's The Sun is reporting that Linkin Park will be performing at the half-time show of the Champions League Final. Taking place at Munich's Allianz Arena on May 31, 2025, this performance will come about two weeks before the European Tour kicks off at NovaRock.

The Sun adds, "Linkin Park have signed the deal and they’ll be playing at the Champions League half-time show. It’s a really exciting gig for them and they will be doing some of their biggest hits like One Step Closer and Papercut, as well as new songs. Last year Lenny Kravitz was the performer, so they are following in some pretty big footsteps."

Munich was notably left off of the tour of Germany in 2025 for the band, so this performance will give fans in Munich a taste of LP on the From Zero World Tour.

I’ve said this here before, and I’ll say it again: I think this is the band’s most commercially successful moment!

I also believe it must be their most profitable period, even more so than the Hybrid Theory and Meteora eras.

The rumors about performances at the Champions League final and the Super Bowl are unprecedented for the band.

This is truly incredible! I never thought I’d see Linkin Park reach this level of popularity again.

I can only imagine how excited Dave must be to perform at the final, considering he’s such a huge soccer fan.

Let's see if The Sun is right here and it's true.

In any case, it's interesting. LP is in Europe in early summer but 2 later. I mean, flying to Munich and back to the USA for a 15-minute performance would be wild. They certainly won't be hanging around in Europe 2 weeks before the tour starts just for the halftime show. They have families etc. and every day with them is important. Especially when you're on tour a lot.

I would be happy if they play there. They deserve that kind of attention.

Mike traveled to Japan to record a video for YouTube to promote Already Over. 😅

Not to mention the various trips only to promote albums at the time of their releases, without performing any shows.

In terms of publicity, I think performing at the Champions League final is huge. It's definitely worth making a round trip just for that performance.

This could be one of their most-viewed performances ever, so yes, a round-trip from LA to this like they just did for the Saudi Arabia show is worth it.

They will need to rehearse at some point between the U.S. festivals and Europe if they want to add any other songs to the set for the Europe shows. There are also only 2~ weeks between Europe and the U.S. tour second leg. Hopefully they'll come with a big arsenal of songs in 2025 to rotate them around quite a bit so the sets don't get stale.

That would be epic. My only concern is that I don't associate the halftime show with the UCL final. I rather tend to make a connection with the performances before the match. I just hope TV doesn't air commercials during that time. 😄

Great! Imagine Dragons and Lenny's performances during the Champions League finals were great. Although I was more hoping that they would do something during the World Cup 2026, but who knows? Time will tell.

It would be amazing, but it makes much more sense to have a performance at the next Olympics since they will be in Los Angeles.

Could the performance really be during halftime? Usually, performances at soccer finals happen before the game, since halftime is practically the only break for advertisements.

From what I researched, the performances last year were before the game.

Definitely not half-time show, only pre-show like Lenny Kravitz performance. And most of the broadcasters will start 5-10 minutes before the match.

That is absolutely amazing! The whole world watches that game. Hopefully someone's favorite team here gets to the finals. Mine (Chelsea) is in the Conference League this year lol.

I'm sorry but they will be kicked out by my fav team (Real Betis AHAHAHHA HA HA :( ).

UCL finals is one of the most watched sport events (if not the top1) in Europe so this is a highlight in their european career. So happy for them.
