The From Zero World Tour is bringing Linkin Park to some new territory! Linkin Park begins their short South American leg of the tour on November 11, 2024 with their first ever stop in the country of Colombia at Bogotá's Coliseo Medplus!

Things are looking great for Colombia. The band absolutely blew away all expectations and precedents with their setlist in Arlington, Texas on November 8, 2024 at the Globe Life Field. For once, the nonsense I wrote about in the last pre-show post about "what could happen" actually happened! The band hit their stadium rig stage with Inception Intro B (with 'Iridescent' vocals) and 'Somewhere I Belong,' immediately bringing that Live In Texas spark back to the Lone Star State. The surprises began after 'Castle Of Glass,' and in a big way - Page Hamilton from opening band Helmet came out onstage to help the band bring the live debut of 'All For Nothing,' from 2014's The Hunting Party, to the stage it has long awaited. Ten years after the album came out, this year's #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has really made its mark. 'Keys To The Kingdom,' another The Hunting Party song that got its live debut this year, was also supposed to be played during the encore, but was dropped in the end, possibly due to time constraints (the band was 10 minutes late to the stage and went over curfew by about 20 minutes, even with dropping a song). With this, we went from only half of the album being played live to a solid 8 / 12: 'Keys To The Kingdom,' 'All For Nothing,' 'Guilty All The Same,' 'Wastelands,' 'Until It's Gone,' 'Rebellion,' 'Final Masquerade,' and 'A Line In The Sand.' This leaves 'War' and 'Mark The Graves' (and interludes 'The Summoning' [which actually has been used in the live show before, just not by itself] and 'Drawbar') left to be played from the record. There are only a handful of songs in the band's discography that have never been played live, and with a lot of big ones that we never thought would see the light of day again getting crossed off the list, we can't help but wonder what could be next. What song from The Hunting Party do you want to see Emily tackle next?

The surprises didn't end there, however. After his solo 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' mashup, Mike admitted to the crowd, "We have a second surprise for you tonight. You get to find out -- Dallas gets to find out what happens when Em puts her screamy pants on!" The band then launched right into the world premiere of 'Casualty,' giving fans in that Texas stadium the first real taste of the song. With Mike roaring like he's in Rage Against The Machine and Emily blowing the bridge up like its 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot, 'Casualty' is undoubtedly one of Linkin Park's heaviest songs ever. And the fans in Texas knew it too, after blowing up the From Zero Pit into a frenzy of moshpitting after Mike's challenge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" The band switched up the setlist a little more (this version of the setlist was given a new name: B2) by moving 'Over Each Other' later, replacing 'Friendly Fire' in the setlist. Since it's From Zero launch week... could more surprises be on the way?

Being that this is their first show ever in Colombia, perhaps surprises are unnecessary - the setlist as it is is about as good as it gets in terms of being spread all over the band's discography (with the exception of One More Light if 'Friendly Fire' is out for good). But without Page Hamilton supporting, it seems unlikely we'll see 'All For Nothing' again anytime soon, so perhaps the rotations return to normal in Bogotá (the rotation for Set B is normally 'Keys To The Kingdom,' which was moved to the encore before ultimately being dropped). Set A and Set B have been played so far, leaving Set C a good chance to come back out at this show (but with two more shows left, it's hard to say what rotation the band will follow). Set C contains 'Burn It Down' in its interludes and 'A Place For My Head' as its rotation song. Set C also hasn't been played with 'Over Each Other' or 'Casualty' yet, so with those additions to the set, perhaps we'll see things get even more changed up as they find the right place for these songs. The possibility still remains for some surprises, though. Perhaps a new rotation song like 'From The Inside' or 'No More Sorrow' get added to the mix, or maybe another From Zero song sneaks its way in there: of the three songs Emily said she was most excited to play live, 'Two Faced' and 'Overflow' remain. Will 'Friendly Fire' return, or has it run its course on the tour? Hit us with your best guesses as to what we'll see go down in Colombia!

Who'll be heading to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report a pretty muggy and cloudy day, with rain and some thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, with a cool temperature. Dress for a wet but good time ( ;) )! After this show, the band concludes their touring for the year by celebrating the release of From Zero with Brazil, with shows in São Paulo on release day and the day after, November 15 and 16. The first show (which happens on release day) will be livestreamed, as well, so we can all tune in for the action! Listening parties have begun around the world, giving fans a chance to hear the record before it finally drops on Friday - our thread is filling up with fan reviews and accounts, so check it out and share your thoughts on the album if you heard it too! And if you missed it, a new version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' featured in Arcane Season 2 is now available for streaming!

As always, we'll have you updated on everything that goes on at the show - especially the surprises! Be sure to follow us (Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook) and sign-up on the forums to share your voice!

It’s going to be amazing!

After a 5-hour flight, I’m in Colombia for my second show of the tour!
I was also selected for Early Entry!

Next week, I’ll still be at both shows in Brazil!

It’s going to be incredible!

Enjoy! That's awesome! :) You'll tie me for shows with 4 on the tour haha

They should play Keys at this show since it got cut previously.

The current band lineup is much more suited for later-career songs than early career. They'd do great on as much THP as possible.

I'm really hoping for the return of a OML song or at least some kind of melody from it in an interlude or something. The GG rap over POA or something seems like a no-brainer too

Also I really want Emily to do the Go Away part after the APFMH BIO bridge, feels incomplete without it!

Thank you! This weekend, it will be a tie 🤣

Aside from various and different technical problems, Emily really felt the effects of the high altitude. My Brazilian friends and I, who aren't used to it, also struggled. It’s a bizarre situation—you try to take a breath, and it just doesn’t come.

I have a photo of the setlist and Emily’s guitar pick in case you need them for any record.

More to come this weekend!!!😎

Does anyone have a video of the first performance of Emptiness ?

So they actually completed the song but without distortion ? That's interesting

They played The Emptiness Machine in full, but without the guitars. When it ended, the crowd asked for an encore, and they played it again.

Overall, this was the show with the most technical issues I’ve ever seen. There were various issues, from the simplest to more serious ones, like microphones cutting out in the middle of songs.

The band was heavily affected by the technical problems, and Emily struggled with shortness of breath due to the high altitude.

I guess is something that can happen on a first time show (i mean on the country), Colombia is a place where some times these things happens.

And yeah Colombia is on a High altitude, but i think is the first time i see (at least myself) something like that happening

About the technical issues, I honestly can’t say. It was my first time at a show in Colombia.

Now, about the high altitude, it’s not the first time this has happened. A Blink-182 show in Bogotá was interrupted so the vocalist could use an oxygen tank.

Given how tired Emily was by the fourth song, I wouldn’t be surprised if she used one too.

Wouldn’t be too worried about it as she sounded amazing in Paris and in person in Dallas, I bet she bounces back hard for Brazil.

I’m not worried. This is something that goes away automatically when you leave a high-altitude environment.

It was just a comment about how the altitude influenced the performance. For example, in Heavy is the Crown, she had to split the scream into two parts.

Interesting about the altitude, I didn’t realize Bogota was that high up. Yeah I can see that it would mess someone up.
