Mike Shinoda & Jason Aalon Butler Collaboration

Today Jason Aalon Butler of Fever 333 talked on his Twitch about working on new music with Mike Shinoda. Last week during one of Mike's live streams he called him and they revealed they had been working together.

 

Last month Jason released a solo track called 'Bulletproof', so the collaboration could be intended for a solo project instead of a Fever 333 track.

Exciting news. Is Mike only helping with production or vocals as well?

That's fucking awesome. I've seen Jason live, dude is definitely a top 5 best live frontman.

His voice actually reminds me of Chester's too, most notably on Fever 333's songs Made An America, Animals, and Burn It

I actually didn't expect Mike to be working with a rock artist. Rock would have been the last genre I guessed, since he's doing so much work with artists that make hip hop music and electronic music.

Ugh, I hope the rock media doesn't jump to conclusions and run with this as "FEVER 333 FRONTMAN TO REPLACE CHESTER BENNINGTON?!" like I'm expecting them to.
