LPLStaff Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 To celebrate the one year anniversary of Post Traumatic, Mike Shinoda has released a rough sketch version of his music video of Crossing A Line which includes the demo version of the song! "Before we shot the actual video for Crossing A Line, I went out to Sunset Blvd late one night and shot a rough version by myself. It uses an unfinished version of the song. I thought I would share it to celebrate 1 year of #PostTraumatic." What do you think? Quote
Diaux Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 (edited) Mike just casually droping a demo version is so funny Edited June 15, 2019 by Diaux Quote
PeppePark Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Love it, and I'd love to hear more demos from the album! Quote
Garret Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Hate how it sounds honestly. The final version is sooooooo much better, especially the verses, with that drum sound and crisper delivery. Quote
SFNL14 Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Wow. So glad we are getting more stuff from Mike. Fun to see how the song evolved into what we heard. Quote
Danacky Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Loving the demo version. Has anyone ripped the audio in the best quality that wouldn't mind sending my way please Quote
zerothree Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I wonder if he considered releasing the song at this stage or whether he knew it was unfinished but decided to start filming. Either way, I kinda like the video, I prefer the final version of the song, but cool to hear the development not went through. Quote
LPLStaff Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 If anyone wants to rip it, a link is allowed here by us so go ahead no problem. Quote
