Create an Album using Linkin Park Underground Songs

Only rule I'll put in place is don't go overboard so make sure the album would fit on a disc (80 minutes max) and try to make it sound like an album. Create what you think would be the best album you can make from LPU and unreleased songs :)

Presenting my tracklist- Linkin Park Underground Mastered:

  1. Announcement Service Public
  2. Across the Line
  3. QWERTY
  4. Asbestos
  5. Can’t Hurt Me
  6. Animals
  7. Dedicated
  8. I Have Not Begun
  9. Attached
  10. Chance of Rain
  11. What We Don’t Know
  12. Blackbirds*
  13. Pale
  14. Blue
  15. Slip
  16. Reading My Eyes (Chester version)
  17. So Far Away
  18. Sold My Soul to Yo Mama

*I realize Blackbirds technically isn't from LPU but I feel it's one of the few songs that fits within those songs even though it was released on itunes.

We should use LP most used structure 11 full songs and 1 interlude/intro

I'll use the ATS structure where the itunes edition had 16 songs :)

But you can use the standard structure if you want. I feel like there are way too many demo songs to stick with 12 personally. I also like the use of instrumentals in my list and if I were to cut it down to 12, those would be the first to go which wouldn't make my album flow as well I think.

I actually made my list as a playlist on phone and I'm amazed how well it flows.

Great lists so far everyone! Really like the choices you guys have made. Always cool to see people's varying opinions :)

01. Announcement Service Public

I feel like this list would make a very good listen if you made this into a playlist/album

It's not that easy to take songs that were recorded over ~17 years and put them in order that will flow well, but I tried to make some listenable transitions for a collection with my favorites:

01. Announcement Service Public

02. What We Don’t Know

03. Primo

04. Carousel

05. And One

06. Dark Crystal

07. I Have Not Begun

08. Step Up

09. A.06

10. Qwerty

11. Basil

12. High Voltage (Live In London, UK 16.09.2001) - The best live track the band ever released in my opinion.

13. Across The Line

14. Pale

15. My December (+ Symphonies Of Light Reprise as "hidden track")

Total length: ~53 minutes.

I left out stuff like Faint demo because it's nice on its own but not as part of a collection, some MTM b-sides that were already represented by WWDK and ATL, and the piano version of My December.

That's how I feel about Faint from Live In Texas. Something about that performance and the way it was mixed is fucking amazing to me, always has been. Faint used to be my favorite LP song for years until WID replaced it for me. But it's still my 2nd favorite LP song and is my favorite live track the band has ever put out, IMO.
