hahninator Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 On June 14th, Chester joined The Hellcat Saints for an E3 private party for the action-horror game Let it Die in Los Angeles. The event was held at the Conga Room. The Hellcat Saints is a band similar to Camp Freddy that was created by Dave Kushner from Velvet Revolver. There is a "revolving door" of musicians in the band and at this show they were joined by Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails), Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne), Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age), Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses), Franky Perez, and Chester. This show was actually announced beforehand with Chester appearing as a special guest, but the announcement went unnoticed in the Linkin Park community. Some photos from the performance can be seen here. Songs performed with Chester include:- Down (Stone Temple Pilots)- Them Bones (Alice In Chains) (2)- Paradise City (Guns N' Roses)- Hole In The Sky (Black Sabbath) - Ace Of Spades (Motörhead) (2) + more? Other songs played during the event (without Chester) include Kick Out The Jams and Highway To Hell. We will work on trying to obtain a full setlist. As you can see from Chester's live guide page, this is his first guest appearance in quite some time. It was his first time on stage since the Stone Temple Pilots charity show in March. Thanks to our friends at LinkinPark:br for the heads up! Quote

Jani Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) Nice! By the way I once found a short clip of Chester singing 'The Cure - Friday I'm In Love' and he sounded so good on that. I wonder if they played it at this show. EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKplCS01F20 Edited June 16, 2016 by Jani Quote
sian18 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Chester sang ace of spaces clip on insta chester didn't sing highway to hell another singer did Quote
Astat Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 !!!!!!!Hole in the Sky is hands-down my favorite Black Sabbath song in their entire discography. This is awesome. Quote
[AndOne] Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Chester should just record a cover album with some other all star musicians. Or just an EP like Stone Sour did. Quote
LESTAT Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Slightly edited the showpage. It wasn't the first time that Chester performed "Ace Of Spades". Joey Castillo was the drummer for Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts, so it is very interesting to see Chester performing a STP song with him and Dave Kushner from Velvet Revolver. Quote

Tyleronlplive Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Robin Finck also played in Guns N' Roses for a few years. Quote
Astat Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 BTW, "Blasko" doesn't have a C in his stage name. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Wish we had full videos of every song this is fucking amazing, Chester's voice is amazing when he sings non LP songs he should have sounded like this in THP, not the flat Chester. Quote
Jani Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) Would be nice if at least once we would get either a pro shot or a good audio from these kind of shows. B ) Edited June 18, 2016 by Jani Quote
crazygolfer Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 It's funny how we're in 2016, and some of these shows still sound like they were recorded with a potato. Quote
Stranger Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 It's funny how we're in 2016, and some of these shows still sound like they were recorded with a potato. well, not everyone got a better phone/camera. cant blame them. at least we got the footage instead of nothing. Quote
LESTAT Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Slowly adding more notes and songs to the show page. Quote
