The final Linkin Park show of 2015 is this Saturday, November 14th in Los Angeles, California. The band is already holed up in the studio and has been for almost two months now, working on their followup to The Hunting Party, but they are ending the year by playing three shows in the month of November. Two of these shows have already occurred - the Monster Mash show in Tempe and the BlizzCon show in Anaheim.

Not a whole lot is known about this show since Linkin Park didn't ever put it on their live shows page on linkinpark.com...another reason why we advise you to visit LPLive on a touring cycle since we list every single performance the band does. It takes place at L.A. River Studios in Los Angeles, an intimate studio that the band has never played at before.

This show will be celebrating ten years of Linkin Park's popular nonprofit charity Music For Relief. Billed as a show "celebrating the global impact of music", the event will also honor DJ and band friend Steve Aoki, specifically for his "Music for Relief support in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines."

However, the event poster says LINKIN PARK AND FRIENDS. Does that mean a few guests will join Linkin Park during their set? Or does it just mean a few other surprise acts are performing? Information is extremely limited for this show so we are unsure exactly what will go down or even how long LP will play for. The two websites exist for the event...the first one being a Music For Relief page that details specific information on the show. General admission tickets were $250, so it's unlikely that we'll know anyone in attendance. The second website is a Prizeo website that Linkin Park and Music For Relief have been promoting for several weeks on social media. You can win chances to meet Steve Aoki and Linkin Park, or win several items like a guitar, headphones, vinyl, signed lyric sheet, or even an event-exclusive shirt.

Since Steve Aoki is there, we can guess that Linkin Park might perform A Light That Never Comes and/or Darker Than Blood with him. Steve Aoki and Linkin Park have indeed played A Light That Never Comes together three times, all in 2013: Summer Sonic, Aoki's Shrine headlining show, and Jimmy Kimmel. After that, ALTNC was performed in full just once ever by solely Linkin Park, back at the Harman private show in Las Vegas last January. Unfortunately Chester's sickness at the time forced the band to drop it from the Concert For The Philippines setlist, so they never played it in full after that. It did stick around for about ten shows in a shortened form in Linkin Park's encore from May-June 2014. Darker Than Blood has only been played in a very short intro to Burn It Down starting in May 2015, but Steve Aoki has performed the full version at his shows. Maybe we'll see a full live debut.

In our BlizzCon show thread, we discussed the number of shows by Linkin Park in the state of California. This will be show number 95, meaning the big 100 will likely happen on the next world tour. Fans in California have definitely had their share of LP shows this touring cycle, as this will be the 14th time Cali fans have been able to see LP play for just The Hunting Party. Add in the Concert For The Philippines show in early 2014 and that's 15 shows in California by Linkin Park since January 2014. Not bad!

It seems like just yesterday that the touring cycle for The Hunting Party was starting and here we are, all the way at the end already. With Chester leaving STP, he will focus all of his energy and time on Linkin Park which means they will likely do a full-on cycle for the next album. This world tour missed Asia (outside of China), Australia, New Zealand, South America (outside of Brazil) and other places, so don't be surprised if Linkin Park's next world tour will be a little bigger than The Hunting Party's tour.

Thanks for following along on the world tour, we hope we helped you guys navigate through all of the fun times, especially that surprise Warped Tour performance last year. We're going to use the downtime to work on a lot of informational upgrades to LPLive. We'll add ticket scans, setlists, passes and more as well as a few items missing (show notes, missing guest performances, etc). And as always, we'll be on top of the LP news and will be ready for the next touring cycle.

Next up for the fanbase will be the LP Underground 15 album. It should drop any day but we'll keep you updated!

The Linkin Park and Friends title is interesting. Imagine if Page Hamilton showed up and they played the live debut of AFN? Or Tom Morello for Drawbar? Too bad it's probably just Aoki.

Imagine that...holy cow that would be concert full of legends !

It would be crazy if they played The Hunting Party in full and had all the features from the album; however, that's most likely not the case. I could see it being Aoki and Daron though since these two have actually performed with the band before.

Darker Than Blood being performed by Mike Chester and Steve. Then back to people talking on stage...

The Instagram videos... I had to spend my carride home typing out the setlist from Snapchat which someone refuses to use.

Nah. I watched the Snapchat videos as well, much to my annoyance and disdain :P

Totally not just because you told me to or anything...

So they completely ignore their new album?

I realize it was a small set but that still deosn't make sense. They bring in Paige Hamillton and they don't even do All For Nothing. Makes no sense. Also, why did Adam get two songs but Mark only get one? I'm selfish, I want more Mark :(
