_c2_
Hey guys. I somehow need your help. I'm preaparing a presentation about Linkin Park (for school) and wanna play two songs at the end, but I don't know which i schould choose. One "new style" and an old one? Or one typical (=old?) and a collaberation (We Made It, CC stuff). I thought about Somwhere I Belong + Bleed It Out P5hng Me Awy + Faint No More Sorrow + One Step Closer In The End + Somewhere I Belong One Step Closer + We Made It ... What would you say? Thanks, c2 Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/ Share on other sites
Alexonlyalex
I took last year mainstream songs, take something everyone know and everyone likes like what I've done and shadow of the day. The reason is that many people don't like when someone is screaming like on Given up Or you could make an accord old LP vs. new LP ( I would take OSC VS What I've done). LPPRJKT4
I think u shud do a song most mainstream fans don't know, and then ones they do know. A Place for My Head + What I've Done? Or for the first choice go all out and do an HTEP song. Das419
I would pick two the following to present to a class (with the assumption that the class would more enjoy an up-beat song) With You Runaway Figure 0.8 Behind your Lies No More Sorrow I would probably chose the combo With You + No More Sorrow Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/#findComment-17208 Share on other sites
linkinmetalfanatic
for an old one, play a not so well known one that is heavy, like Qwerty, or OSC...so that people can see there not always like In the end, and for new style, go for something like TLTGYA or in pieces :)just my thoughts Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/#findComment-17221 Share on other sites
Collision
I would pick two the following to present to a class (with the assumption that the class would more enjoy an up-beat song) With You Runaway Figure 0.8 Behind your Lies No More Sorrow I would probably chose the combo With You + No More Sorrow lol, Behind Your Lies. People still use this name for qwerty? Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/#findComment-17237 Share on other sites
_c2_
[...] Figure 0.8 [...] Poor Figure.09. @ Topic: I like all of your suggestions, thank you very much! Hard to decide, but luckily I still got some time left... Das419
OK I make mistakes... but QWERTY is an odd name and I would never announce it to friends like that..... and Figure 0.9 is the 8th song on the CD, so I get so confused! HaloXero
i would say Papercut and What I've Done Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/#findComment-18345 Share on other sites
Geki
Two most typical (most well known) are probably In The End and What I've Done. If you want to be different, do Qwerty and Part Of Me. Ash_Qwerty
In The End & Numb/Encore. I know people who don't like any rock music but know/like In The End, they always sing along to it. And people who are only into rap or club music etc have Numb/Encore blasting out of their phones/cars all the time. They're by far the most recognisable Lp songs imo. Good luck with your presentation... Ryan
In my opinion, I would use: Carousel (If you feel like explaining it) Breaking the Habit In the End Numb/Encore? And maybe the Opening for Reanimation? Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/1136-two-most-typical-lp-songs/#findComment-18505 Share on other sites
