on that note, source "versions" (separating via 1a, 1b, etc) are also used inconsistently.

For example, Camden '08's sources are listed as separate 'versions': 1a = 16 bit, 1b = 24 bit, 1c = DVD-A. But Clarkston '14 and Darien Centre '14's sources simply note that there are two versions (16 and 24 bit) in the comments field, not via extra a/b differentiated entries.

there's no real need to change this (file size would be enough to indicate to someone what they were downloading), but just so you're aware of it

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2010/20101011

source 1b contains Numb between New Divide and BTH, and if the source note is meant to show 'play order', then WID is supposed to be after OSC

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20140601

Source 2 isnt a full source. the DVD has the same run-time as the "full show uploaded to youtube", but is missing The Catalyst intro, Papercut, With You, Joe's Solo Medley, and Burn It Down. parts of Runaway, Castle Of Glass and A Light That Never Comes are cut. and there are some mid song cuts in Mike's Solo Medley and New Divide.

also, the DVD contains some Bonus clips of 'Guilty All The Same', 'Numb', 'In The End' and 'What I've Done' (not on youtube) from another right angle, filmed by White Lion (not alice k) and a hidden bonus of footage shot from backstage - clips of 'Faint', 'Waiting For The End', and 'Points Of Authority'.

I think Atlanta 2000 show as webcast would be true, maybe a direct stereo out from the clubs mixer. If you ever recorded show from a small club's mixing desk from stereo tape (or monitor) out, you'll know how it'll sounds like. Mostly raw vocals, heavy kick, snare, low level of guitars.

I gave it a fresh listen not too long ago and concluded that it has to be sbd recording/webcast, The heavy compression is an indicator to me that it was a webcast, why else would it be this compressed? That's one of the reasons it sounds so bad, combined with a bad mix and Mike's mic dropping out all the time.

A random sbd recording from this ear seems unlikely too as this was a radio show that could have been webcasted.

I have a Sources correction:

I always thought I had source 1a because the show page says it is 20 minutes long. So yesterday I was looking for source 1b. I went to the Kevin & Bean Archives (not an official website by the way) and downloaded the files. To my surprise, the full show was 20 minutes long (instead of 23 as the show page states). 20:42 to be more specific. I compared to the source I already had and found out both had the aborted PMA take (meaning both were source 1b). But there was a difference: the one I already had was in bad quality while the new one had good quality. The time was also different (20:32 of the old one vs. 20:42 of the new one).

So what happened? When you try to download something from the K&B Archives you get a .m3u file which is a playlist containing URL's of the audio files. I think the person who released this source back in 2007 didn't know how to download from the Kevin & Bean Archives, so he/she recorded the songs with whatever software he/she had and it ended up being in bad quality.

If you want to compare them, here are the files that were in circulation:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/s9efbs

And here are the original (untouched) files downloaded from the Kevin & Bean Archives:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/c1hczn

I think it should be this way in the show page:

Source 1b: Audio - SBD (Webcast)
Time: 20 mins
Format: mp3 / 128kbit/s
Comments: Good quality. This is the version on the Kevin and Bean Archives. It's divided into 6 parts. Includes the aborted Pushing Me Away take.

Edit:

Thinking about it, maybe I did have source 1a before, but both sources are the same (contrary to what the show page says, both have the aborted PMA take). Maybe the person who recorded it was linkin_boss.

There's also one source missing from the show page:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/xk6bna

Only 4 songs. Includes interviews.

not sure who recorded it, but the source info has been missing from the guide for a long time.

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2009/20090822

Source 1: Video - PROSHOT (Webcast)
Time: see comments below
Format: .AVI / 868.2 MB (version 2; see comments below)
Comments: Webcasted on KROQ.com. Really bad webcast (lots of dropouts throughout the show and the quality was not good). Hard to say which recording is best. An 86:53 version (xxPheonixLPLive220xx on YouTube) and an 89:27 version (xxEm1n3mFANnxx on YouTube) both exist. Second version has the full webcast page included (with scrolling KROQ text throughout the show). Both suffer from different dropouts, etc.

There may be a little debate about this source. For starters, I highly doubt there are 2 versions of the same webcast available so far. and I've never heard of the 2nd version.

The "2nd version" that is an AVI file was uploaded to YT first by MrXEROLP (He's a member here):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT2dW9hU91c

I just did a re-upload: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zz0KWNcqsGg

and I think that the "Phoenix220" thing was edited a lot, you can still see the cuts (for example, at the 2nd verse of Given Up). I think he just got rid of the webcast page and put an AUD source at the part where the power outage silenced the stream audio.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9m3FMYE86o

so there aren't really 2 versions available, just the one with the full webcast page is the original and only the AVI one exists so far.

I synched and replaced that webcast sourced DVD-video with audience audio, that one posted long time ago on this site. I haven't kept the original one, because that's sounded shitty. Also I have a DVD with original webcast audio.

There was no VCD. Only mpeg1 files shared originally and NOT authored into VCD. (maybe I have them somewhere)

Source 1a: Video - PROSHOT (Dream TV)
Time: 19 mins
Comments: 'Session' through 'Lying From You' shown via a center angle camera online (in 6 parts); Dream TV showed a 10 minute report with clips of 'Given Up', 'From The Inside', 'No More Sorrow', 'Crawling' and a full version of 'In The End'. Audio on both showings is mixed.

are they circulated, and isn't there only 2 songs circulating?

and Dream TV uploaded the full performance except OSC here:

Source 3: Video - PROSHOT (MSG)
Taper: Unknown
Time: 40:53 mins
Format: .ts (1080i) / 4.85 GB
Comments: Censored. Same angles as Source 1a. Higher Quality and Bitrate than Fuse HD verison. Only The Requiem, Faint, Waiting For The End, Numb, Iridescent, In The End, Bleed It Out, The Catalyst, Crawling and One Step Closer.

Channel which broadcasted the Proshot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSG_%28TV_channel%29

Looks to be a re-broadcast to me. Some songs that were on Fuse TV verison were removed to put it as an 1 hour broadcast.

there is a full version with OSC on youtube.I think there is DVD out there.

If DreamTV uploaded it in full by themself. I am very surprised! Rarely festivals release the whole thing.

I know only one or two people who have a dvd copy. Maybe its a matter of time until someone get it from the Tv

Total time is 6.08 Mins, Files are in .mov, Audio is distorted too. It is currently unknown what songs were recorded. I also don't know the size of the 2 files (since I don't have them, MB probably, but they were included with photos the taper took)
