STP Biloxi.mp3 (164.1 MB)

https://mega.co.nz/#!Vd9niYZT!L9NgA...ape8106pZLmC0do

I didn't bother to track this file cause it's far from perfect. The stream was not that stable so the quality was reduced a few times during the first had. More and more tiny skips and lower quality towars the 2nd half. It never went backt to HD for me during the encore.

Thank you for uploading. Hopefully tomorrow we can get a better quality.

Ok, so it's a AdobeHDS. I found some soft to rip it, but it doesn't work as planned.

Script: https://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/blob/master/AdobeHDS.php

Description: https://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/wiki

PHP: http://windows.php.net/download/

VC11 for PHP: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/de...s.aspx?id=30679

HDS Link detector for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/hds-link-detector/

manifest: http://evntlive1-lh.akamaihd.net/z/1000631...94/manifest.f4m

The problem is that in order to rip this stream, this soft need to download a manifest file, and we don't have access to it, unfortunately. :(

I tried AdobeHDS as well, but unfortunately, my PC seems to have corrupted a DLL with its last update.

However, a friend of mine got it to work while the stream was running and he will probably try to save the whole file when the last encore starts :) His test seems to have worked out now, so there is hope!

Also, I'm currently recording audio again over the analog output. I missed some seconds in the beginning because the stream didn't want to load at first, but maybe I can repair that with the bits I got from the live stream.

EDIT: I think I have the URL for the manifest file. I won't post it though since I'm not sure about it. Anybody PM me if you want it.

I just found another thing.

If you access mobile version of the site m.evntlive... it has a different type of stream: m3u8 playlist.

This seems to be a link to .ts file. Just have to figure out if it's possible to grab it from there.

Watching the encore broadcast right now, and man, Chester is KILLING IT as the front man of STP. This is the first full show I've seen from CheSTP and I'm blown away. The one-off TV/radio performances don't do the band justice at all. This makes me wish I caught them in Boston a few weeks back.

Interesting. My manifest URL looks similar, but it's much longer. However it must be the right path that you're on there.

Yep, this!

Chester nailed every damn song, it's almost scary at times how much he sounds like Weiland.

And also, those screams at the end of "Sex and Violence". :D

Just finished watching the encore webcast and it was GREAT. I think it's one of the best STP w/Chester shows, no doubt.

Anyone know a program I can get to separate the songs into a normal tracklisting?

Try Audacity. Edited by Mesck547

Unless someone recorded a perfect version today I'll improve my previous upload with the version I just recorded. Mixing those 2 should have almost no quality drops.

I could also improve my audio, but I will have to cut and paste a bit to get the full thing. I hope it will be complete when I blend the two together. I'll post an update then.

New version made from my 2 recordings, a WAY better 2nd half, the only quality dropouts that are left are in the 2nd, 3rd and 2nd last song.

Maybe I'll do a cue sheet for this later on.

Cue Sheet

Can be used for mp3direccut or to play in VLC.

Try Audacity.

From my experience CDwave is by far the best to split audio. It doesn't support all files types though like mp3. mp3directcut is able to cut mp3's without reencoding

I'm done cutting & pasting around in my recordings and it seems I have the complete thing now. I had a few dropouts in it as well, but I cut them out carefully and there basically not noticeable anymore. The only thing I'm still coping with is the overall volume, because due to the fact my recording went through the audio jacks of my PC, I set the volume down a bit to avoid clipping. Once I have corrected that, I have the full thing in good and stable quality.
