Mercedes Benz (tour sponsor), however, held M&Gs before the shows for their own car buyers, etc to meet the band. Instead, two LPU Meetups events were held in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Despite the band not being confirmed to attend, they showed up and fans were allowed to take a group picture with Linkin Park but not get any autographs.     - Due to the Chinese government's censorship laws, the band was forced to censor 'Given Up', 'Remember The Name', 'Welcome', and 'Bleed It Out'. On 'Given Up', Chester just skipped "fuck". On 'Remember The Name', Mike changed "motherfuckers" to "other fellas". On 'Welcome', Mike just skipped the "fuckers" part of "motherfuckers". On 'Bleed It Out', Mike didn't rap the entire line of "going out of my fucking mind" and let the crowd sing it instead.

    - Chester had in ear problems during 'Papercut', signaling to the side of the stage that he couldn't hear correctly. The band took a break after the song to get it fixed, before they started 'Given Up'.

    - On the transition outro of 'Runaway', Mike rapped verse one of 'Wastelands'. Chester sang the first line of the bridge over the outro transition.

    - Chester's mic cut out a few times on 'New Divide'.

    - During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Chester conducted a sing-a-long with the crowd.

    Other Notes:

    - This was Linkin Park's first show in Beijing. The scheduled show in October 2008 was canceled due to Chester being injured.

    - After the show, Joe performed a DJ set at the Boombar. It was billed as the "official Linkin Park after party".

    - The band had to submit a list of songs to the Chinese communist government to be "pre-approved" for the setlist. Included were all songs played on the world tour for The Hunting Party up to this point, even those not in the current setlist. 42 songs total were listed, including 'A Place For My Head', 'Somewhere I Belong', 'A Light That Never Comes', 'With You' and 'Blackout'. 'Keys To The Kingdom', which has not received its live debut yet, was also on the list.

    - There was no LPU Meet & Greet at this show. The Chinese Tour did not have the customary M&Gs, which made it the first tour in LP's band history to not have them since the inception of the LPU. Mercedes Benz (tour sponsor), however, held M&Gs before the shows for their own car buyers, etc to meet the band. Instead, two LPU Meetups events were held in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Despite the band not being confirmed to attend, they showed up and fans were allowed to take a group picture with Linkin Park but not get any autographs. Even at these LPU Meetups events, the Mercedes Benz people went first to meet the band.

    - There was no opening band for the China Tour.

     Other Notes:

    - This was Linkin Park's first performance in the city of Tempe (suburb of Phoenix). The band played Tempe on 2000.05.27 as Hybrid Theory, just before the name change to Linkin Park. It was their last show under the Hybrid Theory band name.

    - A proshot video of 'Papercut' with some backstage footage was released as an LPU Exclusive in 2016. On Halloween 2016, the band made the video public.

    - Several big changes to the festival occurred in the weeks leading up to the event. On October 23rd, Monster Mash completely canceled the first day of the festival (for October 30th). The lineup for that day was Santana, John Fogerty, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. On October 26th, Monster Mash announced Halestorm had canceled for November 1st, the day Linkin Park was playing. Additionally, there was originally an East Stage and a West Stage, but the "two stage" plan was canceled at the same time. One stage replaced the two stages and Linkin Park's set time was bumped down from a full headlining set to just 90 minutes.

    - Due to severe storms and tornado watches, the band's set was heavily delayed (over three hours). The festival evacuated the festival grounds twice during the day (first, in the middle of Anthrax's set, and a second time after Halestorm's). The first evacuation was only half an hour, but the second one lasted for several hours due to the severity of the storms, ultimately leading up to the cancellation of the festival. Linkin Park and Volbeat were officially canceled about a half hour into LP's set time. An official statement released by Rocklahoma stated, "Due to the continued inclement weather in Pryor, we will be cancelling the rest of the bands scheduled to perform tonight. We want all our patrons to stay safe, so if you are on-site camping, we encourage you to stay at your campground. We will continue to monitor the weather and will have more information regarding tomorrows performances in the morning."
