    - Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse one of 'There They Go' over the outro.

    - Jay-Z joined the band for 'Numb/Encore' and 'Jigga What/Faint'. Both versions were the same as the Madison Square Garden show in New York City earlier in the year.

    - Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' acapella after 'Lying From You'. This wasn't planned, as Mike explained to Rolling Stone: "We had put that song in the set and took it out because the chorus has 10 voices singing on it, and live it just never sounded right. But during the Milton Keynes show, there was a fan in front of the crowd who had a sign that said "Play 'Hands Held High.' " Halfway through, I thought, we can't play the song because we aren't prepared but I can give him the first half. So I just threw the verse in a cappella. In fact, we added that verse to the set, so that kid's sign essentially changed the set for the rest of the year. It was really cool."

    - The band switched things up a bit for this show, moving 'From The Inside' up after 'One Step Closer', and moving 'Lying From You' down after 'Given Up'. 'Reading My Eyes' was also dropped.

    - Chester mentioned that this was the biggest Projekt Revolution show to date.

    Other Notes:

    - There were a number of problems with the the video screen behind the band. The problems persisted with the video during 'What I've Done' messing up, as well as an orange Linkin Park logo appearing out of place during the following song. The screen incorrectly displayed the backdrop for 'Faint' on 'Numb/Encore'.

    - A few fans in the front started cheering for the band to play 'No Roads Left', which prompted Mike to shake his head.

    - Consistent with the past, there was quite a lot of confusion surrounding the details for the LPU Meet and Greet, which of course resulted in some fans missing it.

    - Rob had problems with his ride cymbal after 'Given Up'.

    - The show was supposed to be broadcasted live on various MTV channels in Europe. It was dropped off the schedule at the last minute most likely due to the release of the live CD/DVD from this show 'Road To Revolution'.

    - HIM was originally on the lineup but later dropped out.

    - On October 6, 2008, the band's official website held a contest for anyone 18 years of age or older to submit a name for the CD/DVD. On October 8, five final choices were made into a poll allowing fans to vote for their favorite. The final choices were: "Linkin Park: Midnight In Milton Keynes", "Sunset Revolution: Linkin Park Live In The UK", "Road To Revolution: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution In The Iron City: Linkin Park Live", "Revolution in the UK: Linkin Park Live". On October 13, the website was modified to fit the winning title which was announced as "Road to Revolution", along with the tracklisting.

    - 'What I've Done' from the CD/DVD was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Hard Rock Performance" at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards.

    - 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'Papercut' were released in 2013 as bonus tracks for the new Meteora deluxe edition on iTunes.

    - Linkin Park played a shortened setlist. Dropped songs from this set were 'Don't Stay', 'Valentine's Day', and 'In Pieces'. 'Pushing Me Away' was played in it's piano form instead of the regular album version.

    - 'Breaking The Habit' was played as a keyboard-and-vocal only performance, like 'Pushing Me Away', for the first time ever. It featured the piano intro. This is also the first time that 'Breaking The Habit' has ever opened the setlist.

    - Only Mike and Chester appeared on stage until 'What I've Done'.

    - The first verse of 'Hands Held High' acapella was done over a keyboard piece and led into the 'What I've Done' album transition from 'Shadow Of The Day'.

    - Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse one of 'There They Go' over the outro.

    - A Canadian flag was put on Mike's keyboard before 'Leave Out All The Rest'.

    - 'Crawling' was performed without an extended 'Krwlng' intro.

    - Halfway through 'A Place For My Head', the lights went out. The band played the rest of the song in darkness. The lights came back on right near the end of 'One Step Closer'.

     Debut(s):

    - This was the first time a full piano version of 'Breaking The Habit' had been performed live.

     Other Notes:

    - The band was still stuck on the runaway at the airport as of 8:00pm, trying to clear customs. They weighed several options, which included taking a helicopter to the show. They arrived at seperate times to the show. At the Meet and Greet later on, Phoenix abruptly said to a fan that "Mike has just arrived". The only two band members that were at the LPU M&G were Phoenix and Chester.

    - Scott from Stone Temple Pilots asked during the Stone Temple Pilots set where "his friend Chester" was. He was inviting him to come on stage and sing, like Chester did in 2001 with the band, but Chester was busy doing the Meet and Greet at the time.

    - Brad played a take of the first part of the 'In Pieces' solo before the song.

    - Near the end of the intro to 'A Place For My Head', a fan threw a glowstick at the stage and hit the box right in front of Brad, who stopped and eyed the guy out, which caused many fans to laugh at the look on Brad's face that he gave the fan.

    - Mike played the keyboard for about twenty extra seconds at the end of 'What I've Done'.

    - 'Bleed It Out' featured the chorus sing-along bridge, which was not usually a part of the song on that tour.

Fans could tell he was trying to rap and could faintly hear the drums, but they couldn't hear anything else. Mike apologized, and called for Jason to make sure that the fans wouldn't be "cheated of any more music" after the song before continuing the show.

    - Chester lost his breath in the middle of Valentine's Day (like due to him being sick)...his voice trailed off, he paused, spit, and said "Sorry, let me catch up" before continuing the song.

    - The setlist for this show called for 'Bleed It Out' to have all the extenders, and for 'Breaking The Habit' to have the extended outro. However, the outros to both songs were skipped, possibly because Chester was sick.

    - When Brad started playing his 'A Place For My Head' intro, Mike randomly appeared in the pit about 50ft from the stage. He walked down the left side and shook everyones' hands and then appeared under a spotlight really far out in the crowd. The pit was really rowdy during the performance and after the song was over, Mike pulled out a can of silly string and sprayed the fans near him with it.

    i may have posted this before somewhere, but i thought since we're playing "reading my eyes" a bit on stage, i'd give you a little background. i think we wrote the song back in '97 or '98. it was an original demo from when the band was called XERO, which means it was written (and originally performed) by me and my friend mark. this was one of the songs on the demo we would send out to record companies to try and get signed, and it was on some of the demos we passed out to friends and new fans (the blue cassette with the baby on the cover).

     

    we decided to put it in the show because a lot of the hardcore fans wanted to hear us play it–the only time we played it with chester before this tour was in tokyo, 2006. looking back at the lyrics, it's crazy; some of it's really dated, some of it's still dope, and some of it makes virtually no sense whatsoever. but i've seen some really bad "interpretations" of the lyrics on so-called "lyric websites" that are WAY OFF…so i figured i'd give you the real lyrics.

    - Due to Chester being sick, the setlist for the show was drastically changed. Taking a variation of "Set R", the band replaced 'No More Sorrow' with 'What I've Done' to open the show.'Wake' was played, but it went into 'Lying From You'. 'Given Up', 'No More Sorrow', and 'Points Of Authority' were not played at all. 'Breaking The Habit' was moved down after 'My December (Piano Version)', giving the setlist the same encore as "Set T".

    - After 'Somewhere I Belong', Chester said that he was so sick the day before that he couldn't talk. He said they contemplated canceling the show but Chester thought the fans would "help him out".

    - Since 'Points Of Authority' was not played, after 'Papercut', Mike said "We are gonna try something different tonight....let's try a little vibe". The band played just the 'Points Of Authority' outro and Mike rapped 'There They Go' over it. The setlist lists it as "Points OUTRO/ONLY".

    - Before 'Shadow Of The Day', Mike commented that Chester sounded good to which Chester replied that the crowd sounded way better than him. Mike said, "Does anyone call bullshit on that?" and said Chester sounds good and beats himself up too much. Chester said Oklahoma has officially become his favorite place on the planet.

    - Brad played the 'Valentine's Day' intro again at this show after debuting it earlier on in the tour.

    - 'Pushing Me Away (Piano Version)', which was supposed to be played as the first song in the first encore (and was listed in the setlist there), was replaced with 'My December (Piano Version)' in the same spot.

    - 'Breaking The Habit' had no intro.

    - The band extended the 'Bleed It Out' intro a good bit for the first time in quite a while. The setlist lists the song as being the regular version with no extenders, but the band played the long version, featuring the extended outro.

    - At one point, Chester told the fans they could get their money back if they weren't satisfied with the performance.

    - To start the encore, Chester came out and said how much he appreciates the crowd's enthusiasm throughout the night. "I think all the great people in the world are located right here in Oklahoma. At the beginning of the night, I was freaking out a little bit and I thought tonight was going to be the worst show I've ever played, but you guys turned it around and this is one of my favorite experiences I've ever had."

    - This show makes the start of the third batch of new setlists the band has used over the last year. The first batch - A, B, C, and sometimes D, were used for Projekt Revolution 2007, New Zealand/Australia 2007, and Asia 2007.     - Before 'Reading My Eyes', Mike said, "We're not in the habit of introducing our songs. Do you want to introduce the next song?". Chester replied, "This song is so old, that when it was written, I wasn't even in the band!".

    - On the first verse of 'Reading My Eyes', Chester went to the side of the stage and kissed his wife. On the second verse, he went back again and kissed her and danced with her as well.

    - Chester sang the chorus to 'Reading My Eyes' in a lower pitch like he did earlier in the tour in Vilnius, Lithuania.

    - The band thanked the crowd a lot, with Chester saying "We couldn't ask for a better audience at our first concert here. We have the best fucking fans!"
