Fort Minor seems much more realistic than Collision Course. BUT - they didn't include Collision Course in Meteora|20 like they did with Reanimation on HT20, so anything is possible.

Just putting those live songs out from the start of the Roxy show would be a nice nod by LP. Put it on YouTube and call it a day, at worst. And you don't even have to put the LPJZ stuff out since it's already released.

CC is one of those albums that still don't have the Hi-Res version available on streaming platforms, so I think that if they gonna do anniversary of it, this will be the very first thing what they will do. They can also throw any bonus content to it.

I wish something would come before 2027 because counting four years is very difficult.

Potentially CC will happened in the next year in 2024, then in the next year 2025 you will have Fort Minor's TRT anniversary. Then you have 2 or 1 and half year to wait for MTM20.

  2. This topic is not in the newswire so I don't know but my small modes "wish list" for M20 that I posted (especially in one case) proved that someone is watching those "requests" so I will make a list of some stuff to release/fix/upgrade:

    - HD upgrade of the video

    - making of footage

    - full live show

    - fix the censored version of Izzo/In The End, which is not censored (it contains son of a bitch)

    - instrumentals/acapellas for all 6 songs

    - release that Numb/Encore (lyric video) that you have since 2020

  3. You can call it a rough mix, yeah no problem, like the rest of the demos besides first 3 were mixed in 2002 so those are probably rough mixes + they are all unfinished.

So you can continue to agree with me with another 5+ more posts if you want :)

I never was saying they were fully finished songs nor i said anything about Andy, you are the one who just bring those two things.

The mix can be done at some point where the song is not finished yet or the already done mix can be improved/changed in the later time, you can check Mike's live stream channel and see how many times he changed the mixes for his most famous jam songs.

Mixed in 2023 but with the mindset of making it sound like they were mixed in 2002.

This is all correct, except Fighting Myself wasn't even finished in 2002. It didn't have the Chester vocals in the song itself, but they were in the session / multitracks. So when you say Mike said "we cleaned the mix", you are correct because he mixed it fresh in 2022 - that's right. But that song wasn't done enough at the time to mix properly by 2002 standards, if it didn't have Chester on it.

You could argue that it's a "new mix" from how Mike had it set up in ProTools or whatever at the time, sure haha

Still, that doesn't mean that the version that Mike found or the session / multitracks found by management were unmixed. Then you add the layers from one to another and do the mixing properly as you want.

Fighting Myself and More The Victim never got mixed back in the day, but I imagine the original rough mixes wouldn’t sound too different than the ones today. Just judging on Lost, which kept its vibe in the new mix.

Indeed they were, Mike use the word "we clean the mix" for all of them, which means they were mixed at some point but the band didn't liked them that much so decided to clean them up. Also, all 3 songs (Lost, Fighting Myself, More The Victim) are the only ones mixed in 2022, the rest of the songs from Lost Demos has the original mix done by Mike back then in 2002, the only new thing is that they were mastered. Mike said that so it's all confirmed.

    true. That one too.

Also Shortcut, the Fighting Myself demo was used in the Work in Progress DVD at some point. I remember hearing it.

We know that there were two different versions, one found by bands management and one found by Mike, so the instrumantal used on the DVD is one of them.

  6. Update on the site. Finally finished Lost Demos release, the same info is now available, when you will download the info to txt.

Added the exact name of the audio file to Healing Foot (04:30) streaming only from the Marbleverse app game, which is: "Thank you, and fun fact intro & Healing Foot"

Added new icon, the same as for the live songs but green. The green icon meant to appear in the videos and provide the links to show pages of which the footage was used in the video. So that will be in the music videos that contain a footage from live shows or when the audio used in the live video is from the different show than the video itself (screen). I think currently the genius record belongs to Points Of Authority (15 different footages!). Not sure if all the videos that needed to have the green icon already have them or not. I don't think the Lost video should have it.

Also, fixed/updated some other small things. I was thinking about to add the legend (the description of every icon) on the site, but I'm not sure if the site needs that or not. If you have any ideas or thoughts regarding the site, let me know.

100% agree! Lost don't need support anymore, I think Fighting Myself is that much good that can easily defend self, More The Victim needs more support.

They did release the instrumentals for LT and THP, but they did not release the instrumentals for OML. They were leaked.

OML Instrumentals/Acapellas was mastered and delivered by the band to the label. The label was waiting for the right moment to release them. That's what Mike said.

    Hi

    Please support Jeff Blue
To answer all the questions about the first five years of Linkin Park

when Hearing these demos we will see other layers of Linkin Park as we saw with Meteora 23.

Jeff Blue never say  anything unless it is true, he said he has many things, both music and video.

So if you want all this stuff for free
send him a message and support him

    Thank you

There's no need to create a separate thread about it.

  9. I think Lost is one of the most successful song. Fighting Myself wasn't postponed because of that but rather because Mike's new song was on the way.

I think they don‘t want to put it on streaming services etc. since they want the 2023 mix to be the definitive version of the song. If someone goes to Spotify and searches for the song, that‘s the version they want that person to hear. Adding the 2002 version only makes that less likely.

They don't want to release it on streaming platforms, because they want the song to be exclusive only on the CD, so they can raise more money from that.

Official Linkin Park link for the album: https://lprk.co/lostdemos

Why they list iTunes Store? The album is not available in any country there, it's only on Apple Music, Amazon link does not work for me either. Either it's gonna show up there later this week or it is a bug. It seems this supossed to by available for streaming only. If not the official link from the LP side I would consider this release as a mistake, there were such mistakes in the past. The barcode for this album looks weird, the release date is April 1st (Saturday), both not very typically by Warner.

I saw some people consider those as playlist. Check the links to both Apple Music and spotify, the links contains "/album/" instead of that they would have "/playlist/" then.

  10. Looks like the band decided to put out an separated album with all the demos from the Meteora|20 called "Lost Demos". The album is available on various streaming platforms. All the songs are the exact same versions as the ones originally released on April 7.

  11. If by saying that they will release the live show they meant that they will post it on YT ok but if they menat they would release the CD/DVD than wtf, who made those kind of decisions that quick, if you do something like that for the first time than you're waiting for how the fans gonna respone about it and you're not making the official release of it, which only means that the only reason of why you're doing this are probably the money.

Would be nice to have a vinyl rip of Nottingham 2003 somehow, since the track splits are a little off in the release:
    - Rob cymbal taps to start the song are cut from the Hit the Floor track

    - Krwlng intro to Crawling is cut from the Crawling track

    - In the End intro sample is cut from the In the End track
    - Rob cymbal taps to start the song are cut from the One Step Closer track

A little bothersome, not too much, but would be nice to have a vinyl rip to track it properly.

Edit: Check the start of From the Inside, looks like maybe one cymbal tap from that is cut out and is on the track prior?

What about LIT M20 version? it seems some of the tracks needs to be fixed too:

Don't Stay - the ending contains a small portion of the SIB intro

Numb - the ending contains extended intro to Crawling

Crawling - the ending contains small portion of the ITE intro

I can fix those 3 if you want.

  14. 9 hours ago, LPLStaff said:

Were the cuts off in the original rips of the other shows? Only noticed it on Nottingham which was pretty severely off for the track cuts. What else was off?

I know that other staff member rip all the audio from all dvds and he cut the tracks properly, it was in mp3 format only, if you have that one then all the tracks are already fixed.

As for the original version that was posted here, which means the track were cut just like the chapters on dvds. Speaking about the Denver and Veteras - almost all tracks were missing a small portion of intro, Crwaling was missing the whole extended intro in both of those shows, the first 16 seconds of Don't Stay from Denver was cut, which didn't make sense at all because that 16 second intro contains portion of the extended intro to DS. Extended intros to Numb, In The End were cut too.

Sometimes you can't notice some of those bad cuts if you are listening to the whole show, but when you listening just the one track from start to the end and there's no next track to play, you will notice that at the end of it very small portion of the intro of the next song was cut. EDIT: sometimes the track were just missing 1-2 cymbals, I fixed that too.

Don't remember how the situation looks like in the other two shows - Manila, Seoul. I'm planning to re-check and fix those two pretty soon too.

  16. Description on YouTube video says only: "Remixed by Patrick Zappia" which probably means the remix wasn't made for any other particular project.

idk why there's another version of the new mix since there's no difference.

It's very common for the label to throw the album (the original) version of the song to those kind of releases, especially if the song is massive in terms of popularity. The same they did with Fighting Myself, which also has Lost. It's unnecessary to suspect every time when that happens that the song could be in a different version. If it was it would be mentioned in the song title.

  17. New version of the digital single of Lost is coming this Friday! It comes with 2-tracks the remix version and the album version of Lost.
