I wonder if they oversold in LA, or maybe a shipping issue prevented it from stocking better elsewhere.

Heavy is the Crown Pt. 2 Sillyness aside, I like how the song sounds. I agree I can see some "Rise Against"-like sound at some parts. I want to hear the full studio version before judging which LP album sounds I associate the most with the song. The only thing I'm 100% convinced is that Mikes's rap verse sounds a lot like the LT/THP rap verses.

I don't know... like, I saw Queen with Adam lambert a few years ago, and they did a couple of clips in between, and played "Love of My Life" with Freddie on the screen. On that end, it checks out. However, considering that the bands wants to move into creating new music rather than being a legacy act, probably that just adds to the backlash of adding Emily instead of someone more similar. Plus, I can only imagine that being a legal headache, since the family doesnt seem to be in the greatest terms with Mike, so it might be a bit of a legal issue to use his image in that way?

Well, now that we know that the different versions of the intros depend on the lyrics they put on top. I tried to give it a try and make a custom setlist to fit the current tour. I know there are plenty of changes, so it's a lot of wishful thinking. It strikes a balance between keeping a good amount of singles and being significantly different from the 2 shows we've got so far. Probably the most far-fetched idea is the changes to The Catalyst, but I feel it'd be so cool if they inserted the Japanese lyrics somewhere in between. I think CASTLE OF GLASS is a bit overdone in this current setlist with all the transitions on top of the studio version. And we also had the COG experience in previous tours. I think it needs something to freshen up like the arrangements they've done on LOTR definitively gave a breath of fresh air to the song.

Definitively, specially the audio sounds great. I feel there are enough 4K sources to put a decent multicam together 😁

I think they are trying to position Emily as someone who can handle their heavier stuff, so it would just send the wrong message. But I think over time songs from OML may rotate alongside other mellow songs. I'm excited to see how will they tweak the set for NY. I asume the verse over BIO is gonna keep rotating, but otherwise I'm curious what else might change. Maybe mike will rotate songs on his solo. Also, the transitions having the letter A makes me think we'll eventually get 1 or 2 variants. I wonder why are all the transitions so castle of glass-centered, if they are gonna play the full song as well 🤔

That'd be sweet, especially with all the new mixes and stuff we got in the setlist. Hopefully they decide to mix at least one of these shows and make it a pre-order digital bonus, or smth like that.

Most of the people were standing during the show, except for a few in the upper bowl. So yeah, pretty much everyone was on their feet on that area unless it was an encore/intermission. Some people would sit for the ballads as well. Most were seated during grandson's set though.

I'm uploading rn from the airport! It's taking a while, but I did not book a room and my flight is tomorrow morning. So definitively it will come up sometime during the night 😅

I saw someone has posted most songs by separate. It's missing the show intro though. I can't promise it's good, but I did record start to finish from the upper bowl. 🙈 it's been long overdue for me to provide another source for the live guide.

Anyone knows where the LPU early entry like is? I'm on a line in front of the merch store but it seems this is GA. EDIT: Nvm the have stopped giving the wristbands by the time I realized there was another line. I saw some other people that got the wristbands and also didn't get the early access. Oh well, I'm in the upper bowl so is not like I needed to be super early inside. They brought a good chunk of merch, that's good. I was surprised they brought the single's cover painting. That was cool to see in person.

I would assume the band and by extension the security team must be aware. After all, the media was covering his streams on monday. I hope he gets the help he needs on time because he seems completely gone since a while ago. Most of his online interactions online seem to be with full-fledged tinfoil-wearing conspirationists. That aside, I'm stocked about the band being back on the road! I've been long absent from the website, but I've kept lurking here and there through the years. I hope I get to meet a few of the ppl from the community, it's my first US show! Way back thenbI was living in Chile, but now I'm in Canada, which makes it easier to get there 😅

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone familiar with the Kia Forum knows if they have bag check? I'm traveling for the day, and honestly, I don't see the point in booking an Airbnb. But I'll be carrying a couple of things so it'd be nice to be able to put my bag somewhere since I know you can't enter the bag.

There is also the chance they could get a sessionist to play these parts live, which is a very common practice when it comes to sampling. Depending on how interested Joe is in what the band does next for sure even if he's busy with other stuff. Either way, the point is, that he could either work with the band just in the studio, just on tour, both, or neither. He would probably give his blessing, I think (and I'm assuming having the band touring would definitively help with royalties and stuff). In regards to Rob, I could see him wanting to retire from public life, it's not for everyone. I don't think that would translate into him not wanting the band to continue or for the legacy of it being kept, I agree it sounds very similar to Deacon's situation. I believe that any promoter that wants to have Linkin Park touring, would take them regardless if they play HT in full or not. Considering how hard it must have been to get them to do it for DL '14, and the band never being too keen to be stuck in just that period, I'd say it's highly unlikely they would agree to that. Furthermore, I would honestly expect if they were to tour with a new singer they would make new music, and they would rearrange songs to play them in a different way that fits their setting (Like how Mike played Papercut in his solo tour). On that note, I think they would tour as Linkin Park. As iconic as Chester's voice is, the name was always meant to symbolize the band and their brand/philosophy in regards to making music, and not just 1 or 2 members. I mean, besides a few festival dates, Mike's tour was very small in comparison when it comes to venues, so I would 100% think that both the band and promoters would want the name recognition to run bigger events.

Now that we have all the info I wonder how long it'll take for someone to make a fixed Papercuts with singles versions and more transitions between songs lol.

They just mentioned it in an interview about their show in Rock In Rio (in Portuguese). They mentioned when they get booked for a show these fees are negotiated in a way that the event producer runs with them.
