Just Chester being at the show means there will be the possibility of some memorable moments whether DBS plays or not so yeah if you (or anyone) can get a full taping of the show (preferably video) that would be fantastic!

I also think this will turn into a joint showcasing of DBS and JK. Really hope we can get a good video rip. Pity that there's no chance of me making this show

Very relieved to hear that Chester is recovering well. I had been hoping for an update. Thanks! The remaining MTM completed songs on the LPU8 would be fantastic. Still hoping for a studio or at least soundboard recording of Chester's collaborations during PR'08, doesn't have to be on the LPU8 - a download link on the LP website would be fine with me.

For someone to try to sell the HTEP for that price ($130! {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif ) burns me on so many levels not the least being because I didn't get to order one. I hope the person is unable to sell it at any price, period.

Personally I can't wait for this DVD, might even give my LIT DVD some much needed rest {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif Would love to see backstage antics with LP and include the other bands but I don't want any non-LP performances unless a member of LP is directly involved in the set.

That was really great of the band to pay for the crew, shows what a class act they are. Thanks for the update on Chester, man that sucks to get hurt while simply playing with your kids. Hopefully, he'll make a full recovery and be able to horse around with his kids without worries of slipping a disc again. Love the HD MSG and hope the full version will be available for download.

I'm not surprised the China shows were cancelled. Actually after Monday's show was cancelled I've been expecting this. I wish there were more details on what happened to Chester and just how bad is it. Given his tendency to power through, I'm thinking it must be pretty serious for him to be sidelined like this. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif

I loved Live in Texas and it will be great to have another official live DVD in my collection. Hopefully this will be released soon and have some behind the scenes extras.

Depending on what his injury is, he could very well be on bed rest. Back injuries are among the most painful and debilitating. Last time my mom hurt her back, she couldn't do anything for like a week except lay in bed and take massive amounts of pain killers. Knowing Chester he wouldn't just sit in the chair. Back injuries are very bad, I know when I seriously hurt my back a few years ago I could barely walk and sitting in a chair was murder. Heck even lying down hurt unless I was taking mega pain killers. Hope he gets better soon and follows doctors orders.

I totally agree. You could tell Slash was very happy that LP won. Priceless how he went from being all hard rock to bubbling over that his friend had won. Love it!

I've heard quite a few of the covers and I think Chester does a great job. Really shows off his vocal range and delivery.

Does anyone know of a good MP3 or WAV version of the song? The only ones I could find sounded sorta grainy. *ETA: Nevermind, I found one. I love the lyrics and Mike does a nice job in the studio version. Would love to hear a full studio version of Chester singing it since the tiny snippet on the Making of MTM isn't really much to go by in deciding whose voice better fits the song. To be quite honest, I didn't care for Mike's singing in that same tiny snippet but the studio version sounds much better.

I love all the DBS songs I've heard so far and I really hope this will be released in the very near future! Chester's vocals always blow me away! The man has got some serious skills and the passion to drive them home.

I am so eager for the Dead By Sunrise release! The songs I have heard so far blew me away. Hopefully they will then tour perhaps along with an LP tour so I have a chance of seeing these performed live. Chester has some serious vocal skills! LP and DBS rule my mp3 player!
