I believe management has a say, due to one of the Australian LPTVs where Mike and Brad swapped the ballad medley for OSC and asked management if it was fine. That might not be the reason, but I doubt management doesn't get any say, just like I doubt the band doesnt get a say.

Yeah. I've got really good headphones and I barely noticed the strings the first couple times I heard the song. Once they mentioned it, though, I heard it a lot more.
