Great, I hope everything goes smoothly now. I just really didn't have the time til last night i read some messages and well i saw a way of just copying those files off the DVD's. I'm not super tech savy with stuff like this or anything thats why i usually stay away from these. Besides my hard drive will thank me if I do xD. Hope you guys enjoy though

Well, I just went through some of my compilations and random stuff. I have a "DEFCON" DVD. This DVD features LP's "Enth E Nd" Music Video,which I sure as hell can't find anywhere but on youtube. Would this be considered of any rarity or anything? I'm not too much of an expert with stuff that contains various artists u see, because I normally only collect items strictly LP.

Yeah thats it, I guess Jom Ripped it, but hasn't given a word at all on whether he'll be sharing the file or not. And yeah I tried ripping, My damn computer doesn't have a DVD Drive so it won't even think of playing it. I'll ask him again and see cuz he hasn't answered me :\

What about the song "hardly breath" ? Where is it from ? Is it linkin park or only chester feat... ? there are different versions of the song , which one is the original ?

It uses verse from Chester's Part in the song "Rock & Roll Part 2" on the Handsome Boy Modeling School Album.

What about this one . They sound really different , but it is Linkin Park , i can recognize Mike's Voice , but Chester's is really strange ! .

It's fake. Its from some cover band and as stated in the video LFY wasn't written beforehand they wrote it during the Meteora sessions.

personally, I've never bothered with casettes (not sure how to spell that haha) sure there may be a few differences in a couple of songs from pre-HT, but I've never seen the point.

 

plus, My LP collection has seriously reduced in its pace of accumulation due to my damned PayPal account being hacked - bastards!! that and the limits of a Student Loan being what they are...

I see Cd's becoming extinct in a few years and everything will be in the Digital format (Which I'm not too friendly about to say the least). But yeah they do take quite some space and well not too many differences from whats found on CDs

Are the tracks on the Hybrid Theory 2-track tape, the same as the Linkin park 2-track tape? Or did they re-record?

I am pretty sure the ones on the "Hybrid Theory" Tape are Pre Final Mixes. If u put the tape on a Cassette Deck you'll notice the more raw feel of the song, Doesn't do the same with the other Promo Tape. That's why I think rips of cassettes don't exactly give you a good idea of the sound of the song.

great read. How I LONG to go to a night club where the DJ randomly spits out LP remixes from this epic album. Not every track is brilliant mind, but on the whole its still a fantastic record. i wish there where more albums around now like Reanimation.

+1 on this all I hear nowadays is Techno Remix Covers of OLD Songs lol. I'd def go nuts if I heard a Reanimation song at a club though

Got my Numb DVD/CD Demo, and Faint 1 & 2 in today. Nothing special I know but still feels good to see my collection getting back to where it was. Does any one have, or know of a complete list of LP discs?

You can possibly use my list as a guide, As you can see the links are in my sig. I have quite some good releases and also have a wantlist to even rarer stuff. There was lp-collection.net but unfortunately due to time constraints it was never finished. If you have any questions about stuff, I'm pretty knowledgeable to some extent .

or a dust collector for the closet..with other LP boards. I'm such a bad fan/collector. All my stuff is in a bin or a closet.

Yeah I know, It gets tough to display most stuff. Though whatever I can display will try to stay out of the closet as long as possible

Newsletters never really meant much to me though I have quite a few. Meh I rather be a bit green than having it just laying around. I'm guessing that's why the LPU took the route of charging an additional fee for a physical Copy. I was one of the People who left at LPUX I wasn't too happy with it but it's decisions the LPU made. Though now I think as I stated earlier LPU 11 May have just been hyped enough for me to join and check it out once again
