Well, I fell for the Leak..

I was really keen on actually going and trying to buy the CD because BID and LGM didn't really fill my gap for LP. I heard Lost in the Echo and I must say it is a great start to the album,and I feel it also pretty much syncs well with each other. I'll Be Gone reminded me A LOT of Leave Out All the Rest, which isn't a bad thing, but Overall I am really impressed by the siongs on LT. Thanks LP for not disappointing, well worth it .

The one you pictured 1st I've seen on a record store a few months back. I never really bothered getting it, but I know its a n official item, you don't see them everyday though.

Does anybody know is there a Minutes To Midnight with such front cover? I mean Minutes To Midnight, not Minutes To Midnight Tour Edition.

 

Cover was taken from ebay item (stock photo), but I've never seen CD with cover like this.

I love the Pre-LP era also, Demos are fantastic and I must say that most of them to bring out that raw power and energy that the final versions don't. (ex: Rhinestone, Carousel Demo) This is by far one of the era's where its refreshing to hear how a song came about and how it molded into a final product that became Hybrid Theory. I wonder how much more stuff is out there just hiding away and creeping away to not be found..

Well, I'm not pre-ordering this time around unfortunately. It just lost that "Magic" when there was a bit more options. I'll be eagerly awaiting for it @ my closest record store though .

The Tracklisting sounds weird to an extent, Who would have thought they'd name there Album "Living Things". Well either way I'm stocked and can't wait for the album, being a long time fan and collector...BRING IT ON :@

ATS Deluxe edition is a beauty, never been fascinated with White Vinyls so much, and the CD, DVD Set are unique within themselves. A Splendid Item I must say and a beauty to show off to people

I have a stupid question: Is Part of Me related at all to Figure .09? As in the demo of it? It doesn't seem logical, but I have read a couple of times (I think once on here) that POM became Figure .09, even though they are years apart.

No there not related at all. I think it's logical to conclude that Figure.09 was not named Part of Me because there already was a song with that name. So I guess the demo title stuck along with it.

On the other hand, I'm not sure about eBay's Policy towards fakes. I've reported the fuck out of some fakes and they just don't do nothing, well as long as they have there 9% commission on it I guess its all that matters

I don't think it was a fake, the pictures looked original. No discolored inlay/booklet/cover/whatever and(or) no spelling mistake at the back. Or did I forget something ?

It's not super easy to tell trust me, its a very crafty fake. Now a days you don't see it much, but keep an eye were the seller is from, there mainly stranded in Malaysia or Indonesia.

The last original went for about 135$, quite cheap if you ask me.

Yeah that was a fake and only popped upon eBay.co.uk, Usually nowadays its easier to tell, just from the back, but you always asking someone who knows about the matter can help you out loads

I do agree with Astat, to a certain extent the collecting scene in General has not been the same, barely any bide on stuff, and if there are it goes for so low. Though most Hybrid Theory and Meteora item go off the roof at times. To say the least the fact that there is Fakes out there of Original and reissue has made collectors insecure about buying rare items, But with my knowledge I know its an authentic, no way does it look like those nasty fakes. If you were to ask me, Id say it takes more or less to $500.

To all the collectors out there, the coveted Original EP has popped up on eBay after 2 YEARS!!

This is not any of those fakes that has been popping up frequently.
