  1. A far as I know, Chester wrote this song when he was only 12 years old and it is one of his VERY first songs. I'm wondering if he ever performed it with SDAHF or Grey Daze. Probably not, but we'll never know.
This fact was only mentioned once and I can't find that interview anymore.

  2. Thank you!

Other Shows (Too little details & random mentions)

    - I am not really picky when it comes to venues. I am excited to see music, and I'm happy to see it anywhere. My all-time favorite venue was when we used to set up generators and play in the desert back in the 90's. Rubens Accomplice, Gray Daze, Posted Green, Mandingo, and many more classic Arizona bands used to play these shows I put on in high school. Totally in the desert, totally fun. With that being said, I think my favorite place to see a show is Veterans Memorial Coliseum. I love it there. It's possible one of my favorite places in Arizona.

I contacted River Jones and he sent me the flyer I attached to this post.

Reuben's Accomplice, Plaster Fish, Grey Daze and Posted Green in Electric Ballroom. Unfortunately, there's no date on the flyer, but he promised to figure it out! He was a drummer in Posted Green and is now playing under Alta Violet moniker.

  3. Other Shows (Too little details & random mentions)

    - Saw Mr Pink play with Greydays (chester bennington from linkin park's old band). I think I met Robin at that show. I have flyers from back then I'll have to hook up the scanner...

Contacted that guy. He wasn't able to find the flyer, but as far as he could remember, the show was in Big Fish Pub.

Moved the show from "Other Shows" to "Currently not in the guide".

Also, once we'll post the new Grey Daze Story, we'll add about six new shows to the guide (with the exact dates and even some setlists) and some stuff to this thread.

  4. Some man collapsed

    Dust burning my eyes

    Rollin' / I'm rollin'

    I'm a rollin'

    It is actually:

    Smoke stacks

    Mud flaps

    Dust blowin' in my eyes

    I'm roaming

    I'm roaming

    I'm a roaming

    I'm Eighteen

Lines form on my face and hands

Lines form from on my existence

I'm in the middle without any plans

    I'm a boy and I'm a man

He simply messed up that line, he doesn't sing that.

  5. I need to inform everyone, that some of the stuff band members told me that was posted in this topic is probably incorrect. The band members largely contradict each other, so it is very hard to find out the truth, but I'm on my way for it. Be sure to check out the updated story that will be posted later this year for summary that will clear everything up.

  6. As you can see on these ads (the same ads I posted a few pages ago), there's is something what seemed like a band called Club Tattoo listed on the bill on 1995.02.28 and 1995.05.23:

I emailed Sean the following question:

I was browsing through some old Electric Ballroom flyers with a ton of band names on it and there was some band or something called Club Tattoo. I believe it was active at the same time as Grey Daze was, because both Club Tattoo and Grey Daze dates can be found on the same ad. Does it has anything to do with your Club Tattoo?

He probably thought I meant that Grey Daze and Club Tattoo were listed on the same bill, so he answered:

It was a night that mace and I promoted with the band grey daze playing at it prior to us opening the shop.
We would have tattoo and piercing contests ETc.
when we decided to open the shop we used the name Club Tattoo since we had been promoting it for years.

Anyway, before being the shop, Club Tattoo was a show!

  7. Chester came out to sing on "Bartender" during THIS show as well, but it's not yet on CB's page.

I think there was A LOT more instances of Chester joining (hed) pe on stage. I believe Linkin Park and (hed) pe did three tours together and we have a show with Chester joining them during each one of them and every show is in the middle of a tour.

  8. This quote by Ryan Shuck says it all:
“On the album, the guitars were definitely heavier – there was a bit more grip to the record before and I think the label, when they heard the songs, were like “this could be all over the radio” and they wanted us to polish it up and make it shimmery.”

  9. The reviewer replied to me saying

Oh yeah, totally forgot they switched those two. I think it's just because Chester forgot the order of the set and announced the wrong song. He said "I think this is a song you guys might've heard before. It's called Interstate Love Song." And then Dean had an 'Oh shit!" look on his face and rushed back to his amps to grab a slide lol

But yeah, that's the only change I think.

As for the soundchecks thing, I guess it's all about local radio contests like this one: http://www.kisw.com/pages/21167854.php

It's not the only source I saw.

  10. Review of the Fillmore show: http://www.belowempty.com/forum/index.php?topic=10100.msg181203#msg181203

Chester plays guitar on Adhesive using a capo.
Same setlist, but, as I already said on BelowEmpty forums, I can see that Plush and ILS were swapped comparing to the setlist posted by Robert in his Twitter account before the Seattle show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiS0zqTIAoc
I wonder if it was the same way during the Seattle show and that setlist posted by Rob is slightly incorrect or they changed the order for the Fillmore show for some reason.

  11. Trippin' was one of the songs during the soundcheck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3krbBvOB6wA
Contacted the guy to ask him about the other songs.
Also, added the show to this list: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10627 and updated the show page.

The band introduced and brought up singer Richard Peterson on stage for the final bow. He is the one who sings on the hidden track from "Purple" called "My Second Album":

  12. Nice!

But to be honest a guest pass seems like a weak "payment", but that's just my opinion. The channel has already 100k subscribers and since he seems to be living in Ireland... There's not even a UK date (yet?) on the upcoming tour.

I mean it's the least they can do, it's basically "just" free admission to a show, just add a M&G to that deal, why the hell not.

Are they after the name or the content?

I agree. It's cool to be contacted by their camp for a good reason like this, but, what the hell, there's no way this payment is acceptable.
