  1. Dammit, you've uncovered my master plan!
  2. Doubtful. 30STM got me through some very tough times (not to say LP hasn't helped me along the way). They've had an overall bigger impact on my life, I can't betray them at any cost. MARS are pretty much my gods, lol.
  3. Rob's hair is so glorious how do people still fuck that up
  4. Think about it though, it's definitely good advertising. Maybe there are some people who aren't yet aware that the Carnivores Tour is a thing, both most people have watched the Oscars. Maybe now knowing the Jared will be playing on the tour, it'll convince more people to buy tickets.
  5. Haha. I'd have to go with MARS, they've had an overall bigger impact on me (and my overall favorite band, LP is a close second.)
  6. Those don't really affect the length of the song, I'm planning on making another thread for these special performances.
  7. I really want to hear the full versions of these! EDIT: Could this mean there's a possibility of SOTD returning in full? Or possibly at one point the Ballad Medley was just an acoustic version of SOTD? Or could it mean I overspeculate and they just played it for no apparent cause?
  8. For anyone who likes participating in these sort of contests, Linkin Park is one of the competitors in MTV's March Madness! For those who don't know what this is, it basically pits many artists against each other, in which the fans have to vote for who moves on! Last year Ed Sheeran won, maybe this year we can get LP to the top! http://www.mtv.com/content/news/musical_march_madness/
  9. There are these things that exist known as "opinions"...
  10. That's actually really cool! Songs that represent their own "genre" in LP's music... hmm. QWERTY (Nu Metal) When They Come For Me (Hip-Hop) BURN IT DOWN (Electronic Rock) UNTIL IT BREAKS (Experimental) Robot Boy (Synth Rock) A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (EDM) CASTLE OF GLASS (Folk / Electronic) What I've Done (Alternative Rock) No More Sorrow (Punk Rock) The Messenger (Acoustic) Points Of Authority (Rap Metal) Shadow Of The Day (Pop Rock) POWERLESS (Ballad [not necessarily a genre, but I feel it's one of their most "ballady" songs]) In The End (Emo Rock [i feel like this song is their MCR song])

  12. One won an Oscar, the other masturbated in his jail cell. Your pick
  13. I'd thoroughly prefer if they just played alone given these circumstances...
  14. I agree with this statement. (Not trying to be a dick by this; just symbolism!)
  15. It is, lol. I was hoping they'd do a new single, one that actually hadn't already been a goddamn single already (DoD was released in Europe). At least you guys can all calm down about a LP/MARS summit. All I can see them being involved in the summit would be being at the venue while it occurred, maybe pop up and say hi randomly. I wouldn't think there would be any combined gathering of fanbases. MARS doesn't do anything like an LPU Summit, anyway.
  16. +1 Mexico must of left a great impression on them last time around. First they hadn't played there in 10 years, now it seems as if Mexico may become a regular touring location every touring cycle!
  17. AWESOME interview! Only at the second page and I'm even further pumped for the album. Mike is finally producing an LP album! And Brad as co-producer is cool too. Thus also excites me:
  18. I feel like I'll be in the minority for this one, but ALL CAPS MOTHERFUCKERS!
  19. Considering the show has to end at 11... Doors: 6:30 AFI - 7:00 - 7:45 Stage set-up - 7:45 - 8:00 30 Seconds To Mars - 8:00 - 9:00 Stage set-up - 9:00 - 9:20 Linkin Park - 9:20 - 11:00
  20. I'm not saying their set is being reduced, I'm saying their set may be pushed back. For example, they might have to go on at 9:30 or 9:45, while still playing their full 1 and half hour set.
  21. lmao EDIT: We shouldn't assume LP is going on at their regular tim of 9:20, if they're all headlining I imagine LP may be pushed back a little bit. MARS shows are usually a little over an hour, and thats about 14 songs + a few extras in the acoustic set. They also just started playing The Race regularly, and they sometimes throw in their cover of Rihanna's Stay.
  22. Ah, I see. In that case I have no idea
  23. I wouldn't add that here, as it's a very minute change and doesn't really contribute to the length of the song. Maybe we could start a Live Differences thread for stuff like that.
