  1. My biggest question is how a crowd will react to the new Linkin Park... thoughts? Option 1) As a 5 piece Option 2) New vocalist Option 3) Tour vocalist (s)
  2. Geki & Astat I would like to see a custom setlist designed for Mike's voice 20 songs would be cool...
  3. You are a great musician could you please tell me which singles/fan favorite songs Mike could pull on his own without external help? Your example of WFTE made me think about the horrible NRL attempt.
  4. I'll stick with my opinion they can't do a Linkin Park show without playing their hits and most of them have vocals that are out of Mike's range ... the crowd could sing some iconic parts like the ITE bridgebut if I go to a show I don't wanna pay to be at a massive karaoke party. If they become a club band where they could just play rare songs for people like us I wouldn't mind... but people at a festival would not go crazy for High Voltage.
  5. To me what Mike just confirmed is that nobody will join the band to record a new album... next album it will be just the 5 of them... a famous tour vocalist like M. Shadows, Corey etc will attract crowds... look at ACDC they have Axl and people love that shit. A random guy would get punched so hard by fans that wouldn't work.
  6. 6 it's okay he's a new artist and he is getting a pretty good spot for festivals considering that his new songs are not really hits, I don't know how a festival crowd would react to mostly unknown songs (FM/MS) people expect to listen to LP hits pretty sure that he'll do ITE, WTFE, COG.
  7. If RU wins i'm pretty sure that he will remix it and it will sound good but SFN it's a better choice.
  8. Mike always chooses shitty songs as winners, back in like 2006 there was a RTN contest and the winner was so damn awful... the Mac Oddy remix it's so freaking B A D... the guitar loop makes me want to punch someone.. it has the same effect on me as H! VLTG3 from Reanimation... DPARK or Astat were way way way better.
  9. Every remix of Place To Start surpassed the original verision for sure!
  10. The band needs to meet DPARK... I would love to know what they think about his voice.
  11. Please just don't give up on me - MTM to Geki
  12. The list of guests was really huge and interesting, I just wanna know who are your favorite guests and discuss some details. B E S T 1) Sidney Sierota - I expected nothing from her, she blew my mind.. great voice! the high parts.. the low parts she killed it! 2) Ryan Key - He nailed the whole song, perfect choice... 3) Steven M. - Dude has a unique voice, very haunting... blends perfectly w NCSM 4) Alanis - Did justice to the song, didn't miss a single note 5) M. Shadows & Syn - Lots of emotion from both of them plus M. nailed BID... killer solos by Syn 6) Jon Green - Join the band as a touring member, please. W O R S T 1) Taka - He accomplished his teenage dream... sang SIB with his favorite band... he forced his voice a lot sounded very amateur 2) Julia Michaels - She was super nervous 3) J. Davis - This man can't scream and they gave him the most iconic screaming song in LP's catalog... also he mumbled a lot of the lyrics 4) Blink 182 - Totally destroyed WID 5) Gavin Rosdale - He has a cool voice but it just doesnt fits with LOATR. 6) Dreamcar - They changed the whole song and made it sound like a weird epic funk jam.
  13. I just want M Shadows as a tour member when he's available.
  14. BMTH is kinda big on their own way, I still prefer rotating guest vocalist for each tour... that would honor Chester and no one will take his place... is there a case of a band that did that? would be great to pick up Corey, M Shadows, Oli etc when they are available that would be very intereresting.
  15. He loves the band but I don't know Prettu sure there's someone else out there who can do better than him I would like to have Adam from 3DG but I'm sure that they'll get someone who's not from a famous band.
  16. I always wanted to see FM specially the one man show, now it seems very possible for me.. The way Mike deals with grief helps me a lot.
  17. Two reasons: 1) ''Mike Shinoda'' feels way more personal this time 2) From a commercial side... I believe that more people know who Mike Shinoda is instead of who the fuck Fort Minor is... the MS brand is way bigger than FM.
  18. FM it's a hip hop project.. under Mike Shinoda it's just a different vibe... his real style is The Mall-Post Traumatic and his remixes (See Metric's Gold Gun Girls)
  19. They would never do that, it would be like blaming him... To be honest I can't stand Cornell I can't listen to his music.
