If you want epic, you need this.
They're doing a soundcheck? Wow. Just two songs right now? Instead of acoustic set?
YES, that was the most amazing song comeback of the year so far, DEAD FUCKING STAR!! Wish I could afford to see them at MSG this year but sadly I'm gonna have to skip out... and sadly most likely miss fucking SUNBURN which is being played regularly on this tour... and watch how they'll play this at MSG too -.-
-
PLEASE DO THIS! IT'S MY DAY OFF TOMORROW I CAN WATCH :DDD
-
Everyone here seems to forget that LP had another promo show screened in theaters, so if they're really interested in riding the money train, they can just as easily re-mix and master the horrible quality of that and just release it as a DVD or as a bonus DVD for a special edition LT. Kinda like Madrid with ATS, although, personally, I loved everything about that show. Or, they could always do Carson, CA, that one was also pretty badass.

False. That set is missing the following:
- A Place For My Head
- With You
- From The Inside
- Figure.09
- A Place For My Head
- P5hng Me A*wy
- The Little Things Give You Away
- A Place For My Head
- A Place For My Head
- When They Come For Me
- Blackout
- A Place For My Head
It's also missing A Place For My Head.
This is missing A Place For My Head, I do not approve

If you're talking about the poll on this website, it's fan made dude, Linkin Park isn't remotely involved in it.
-
MCR had Liza Minelli do a guest spot on one of their craziest songs so this doesn't really shock me haha.
-
Linkin Park has potential to have "legendary" status in terms of rock, just due to their vast variety of music styles. But, they definitely haven't been around anywhere NEAR long enough yet, same with Black Keys. They're definitely huge and have potential, but wayyy too young.
-
Anything that has Muse and Linkin Park in the same lineup is epic as fuck, as these two are my favorite bands
-
Fort Minor new album, I WANT IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
-
My ideal tracklist for Minutes to Midnight is roughly this:
1. The Requiem
2. The Radiance
3. Burning in the Skies
4. Empty Spaces
5. When They Come For Me
6. Robot Boy
7. Jornada del Muerto
8. Waiting for the End
9. Blackout
10. Wretches and Kings
11. Wisdom, Justice, and Love
12. Iridescent
13. Fallout
14. The Catalyst
And then instead of calling it "Minutes to Midnight", call it, "A Thousand Suns". And then throw those other 12 songs in the trash.
I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want. If you're looking for money I don't have much. What I do have, are a very particular set of skills. If you take this comment back I will leave it at that, I will not find you, I will not report you. If you don't, I will find you, and I will blast Minutes To Midnight until your ears bleed.

wierdest thing of the year. somebody know if another band do something like this before?
Disturbed has done it and Korn released all of their singles in a collection up til like See You On The Other Side. This is probably a marketing scheme to get casual listeners really into the band or something like that. Not for us hardcore fans.

YYYEEEAAHH :DD

Songs that i think Mark & LPlive.net has:
Linkin Park - Enth E Nd (Demo) (Mike's Original Hybrid Theory Verses)
Linkin Park Feat. Team Sleep - My December (Reanimation Remix)
Linkin Park Feat. Ryu - With You (Reanimation Remix)
& I FOUND THE BELIEVE ME DC !! LP Times has it along with ALOT of FM stuff.
Wasn't the Team Sleep remix never released for being too dark? Though I would LOVE to get my hands on that someday.... I was privileged enough to hear the piano version of My December live and I thought it was a really dark moment in the setlist, the whole crowd got real quiet and it was a pretty somber tune.

In My Remains (Bristow, VA 2012, Chester NAILED that shit)
A Place for My Head (Either Rock In Rio 2012 or MSG 08, the latter is a bit weaker but still the intro was EPIC)
-
I'm actually not fond of it. I don't like when bands release albums all the time. Especially with LP. Their best albums are the ones that take a while. (every one except Meteora and Living Things). It probably won't be until 2014 anyways.
Exactly, say what you will but M2M was a fresh change from the formula they'd been using up til then and it took them four years to finish it. Living Things even felt a tiny bit rushed.
-
Am I the only one who thinks it's too early for them to put out a new studio album? I mean new LP music awesome, but, I only recently just got over the listen to Living Things over and over again phase.
-
This is gonna be legen-wait for it... wait for it even longer because it's Mike's first time playing with CF so it's worth the wait... DARY, legendary!
-
From a recent interview with Ryan, he said that the next DBS record will be more raw and organic like they intended to do with the original DBS album, and he also said that fans can expect to see a different side of Chester than what we know. Sounds promising. It also confirms that the band knows that the Howard Benson produced Out Of Ashes wasn't what the band or fans wanted. That's a good thing. Raw and organic is always good. LP said MTM was raw and organic during the making of it, and that's my favorite LP album by far. I can't wait.
That's really awesome to hear. M2M was definitely one of their most natural albums it seems to me. If DBS has a similar vibe won't mind at all
-
Totally random but it would be funny if they did LP songs with Camp Freddy as the backup band... Awesome though! Has Mike ever performed with CF before?
-
Well, in comparison to the ATS tour, he's actually improved big time on the Living Things tour. For some reason I don't think he would have done some of the revived songs justice two years ago. He murdered Rock In Rio and Rock AM Ring, and HCT was pretty brutal too from what I've heard. He might be entering his typical middle of the tour slump which alot of singers go through (especially with age), but he's singing pretty well on this tour. If he misses a few notes or can't do certain songs as well, you can't blame the man, he ages like everyone else!
-
They wouldn't even continue that far. The band would no longer create music together.
Lolol, it was just a joke, thus the long ass YEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHHH
-
I would no longer listen to anything by Linkin Park or Linkin Park related if Chester left the band. They would never do that anyways. So there is nothing to worry about. People here that think the band would get a new singer instead of Chester are very wrong. Mike, for one, would never do that. He has a great respect for Chester and the band has already recorded 5 main albums together, toured the entire world almost, and many other great accomplishments. If either Mike or Chester left, then the band would call it quits, I am 99.9% sure. That's not to say that the band members wouldn't create their own musical projects and stuff, but as far as Linkin Park music goes, it would be the end. Same as if Mike left.
Agreed, if Chester left, then Linkin Park would hire Mike Shinoda as the frontman and they would rename themselves... wait for it... Fort Minor.... YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
-
Mark & Mike are friends to the present day
i think that Mark left the band, they didnt kicked his ass, or am i wrong? lol
Mark left because Xero didn't seem to be going anywhere at the time yes, him and Mike are still good friends. In fact, they put out a track under the moniker "White Pegacorn' a few years back.
-
I think someone should send the band that Faint intro if they play on opening with Faint next year....

I'm really bummed that they dropped In My Remains, it's my favorite song off of LT =/
