  1. It's gonna be so interesting seeing Orgy and JK share the stage after all that drama, I wonder if Chester really would join Orgy given Ryan is one of his best friends (or just close friend?). As far as setlists go, I really hope that LP doesn't just throw in a verse of Reading My Eyes, I love it over BIO, but for this show it really feels like they should at least play the whole song live, if they don't bring back another tune. It's pretty simple for them to play live too aside from the fast rapping. Every fan can dream right :D

  2. I'm down for Rick Rubin again, people keep saying that Living Things wasn't the best because of him as well as the band but that record was their version of a return to the roots type album, with the whole don't forget who we are today songs added in. He did an insane job with ATS and M2M, ATS being my favorite LP record to listen to, especially as a whole. Definitely ok with him producing again :).

  3. there's a long way between "Possible collaborations for the next album" and "Who would you like to collaborate with the band?".

Possible collaborations for the next album - i wonder if Chester refers to the next album or The Mall soundtrack. there's a different between these two, because there's no (singers) guests in LP studio albums, but in the side projects/remix albums they have a lot. anyway if we are talking about the possible collaborations for the next album, i'll say it will be some instrument artist, something like Owen Pallett in LT.

Who would you like to collaborate with the band? - Chris Cornell, Eminem, Cristian Machado (Ill Niño), Busta Rhymes (again; faster verse this time), B-Real, maybe Dave Grohl, and Anthony Kiedis (great choice) and Jay-Z like you said.

remixes by Nas, Skrillex, Scott Storch and The Roots.

Eminem would be awesome but I doubt they'd be willing to do anything with Grohl, they've had issues in the past and with the way Foo Fighters upstaged LP in 2011, sadly doubt that a collab will be happening anytime soon =/

I'd love to see Reznor work with the band, at the very least on a production type capacity, they could really concoct some dark heavy shit together. Matt Bellamy and a Shinoda helmed track would be killer too!

  4. 1. The first time I heard my first Linkin Park song "Nobody's Listening," I thought Mike Shinoda was Jay-Z and that was the collaboration they did.

    2. At a NJ devils game around the time I was just getting into the band, right before Projekt Revolution 2007, my dad saw a shirt promoting the tour and pointed it out to me, and I thought My Chemical Romance was the name of LP's upcoming album. :D

  5. Ryan actually posted about it on his facebook account and the Julien-K page saying that Jay took the rights to the Orgy name without their agreement or permission, and that both he and Amir were extremely disappointed, because it was an impulsive move and they had been talking about a legitimate Orgy reunion until it happened. I think eventually they didn't pursue anything because they were busy with Julien-K's 2nd record at the time and probably didn't want to deal with extra drama. Or they solved it in a manner that was unseen by the public eye.

  6. Pictureboard

If we're talking in terms of live shows this wouldn't count, but I agree it's the holy grail of studio releases along with the 20 Eyes cover. I would say at this point in time the holy grail is either a pro-shot of a 2002 show (preferably with And One in it), or a 2000-older show.

  7. MSG 08- I had guessed the setlist would be the Wake / Given Up intro setlist, so I was incredibly psyched that my first LP show would be an M2M era show and STILL include APFMH. Definitely a highlight, In Between, My December, Don't Stay, and Points of Authority were also all huge surprises for me, it's like I knew they were coming but when they were actually played it made it so much more epic. Of course, the REAL surprise of MSG 08 is the one that NOBODY expected, the unexpected cameo by Jay-Z with the abbreviated Numb / Encore and extended Jigga What / Faint. It was certainly a huge treat and privilege for MSG to be my first Linkin Park show.

Best Buy Theater 2010- Setlist was great, didn't know what to expect AT ALL since it was one of the first shows. I'd already heard the album leak at the time, so I knew all the ATS songs, but I honestly hadn't been expecting to hear Wretches & Kings already, that was a huge plus :D The only bad surprise of that show was not getting to meet with any LPL members like planned (though LPxDC caught me on video apparently), and they didn't play Crawling, I was really looking forward to hearing that one live again.

  8. In addition to the points above, Julien-K is currently working on their 3rd record. Their schedules just don't mesh with Chester's right now, especially with the Living Things World Tour still taking place, even with the large gap between Summer Sonic. And if they're actually doing Honda Civic again this year, that would make the time work on a DBS album even harder to achieve. I'm not saying it won't happen again, I'd love one, but, it's not going to happen til at least LP have gotten some decent headway with their 6th LP (had to put that little pun in there :D) and JK have probably finished their 3rd album.

  9. Even hypothetically I just can't picture a Linkin Park show without In The End. No matter how much I love APFMH, I just don't think it should replace their original biggest hit. Impossible. Now if you wanna talk about replacing Shadow of the Day with APFMH, that's a different story :D
