  1. So, new album, new songs, new setlists. Though I can't remember exactly which one, I read on one of the threads the other day where someone (Adam?) said that the guys would be doing some different things on this tour, such as the setlist. What songs do you see the guys giving us on the coming Living Things World Tour? If they are going to do something different, maybe we will see some songs make a return

For the European Tour, I hope for something like this:

    -Papercut

    -Faint

-Lying From You/From The Inside/No More Sorrow (Rotate)

    -What I've Done

-Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me/Wretches&Kings Rotate)

    -Don't Stay/Points Of Authority (Rotate)

-Journada Del Muerto/Waiting For The End

    -Numb

    -Breaking The Habit

    -Iridescent

-The Little Things Give You Away/Pushing Me Away[Piano Version] (Rotate)

    -Crawling

    -Fallout/The Catalyst

    -With You/Shadow Of The Day(Rotate)

    -In The End

    -Burn It Down

    -Bleed It Out

    Encore:

    -New Divide

    -A Place For My Head

    -One Step Closer

This is a good solid set. 20 songs, with a few songs that can be rotated. Some of these old songs haven't been played in a few years, but they did say they were going to do some different things this tour. Can't count it out. Some bands have brought back songs you would have never guessed would have came back. What do you think we will see played this summer?

With You and SOTD in the same spot? Never going to happen. I'm not ruling out With You coming back, I want it to badly, I'm just saying it will never be rotated with a major M2M single. It also feels like they won't play Papercut much this time around. Not one of the three majors off HT, and it's been overdone. We might see it on Europe, but I don't really think we'll be seeing it anywhere else much, not that I really want to see it at this point.

  2. i highly doubt it. the set's already pretty long at an hour and a half. I actually find myself getting bored of bands who are on for more than an hour - "yeah great thanks, hurry up I'm tired now..."

oh and don't quote "Green Day" here people - they're a whole different kettle of fish...

@Ginger - haha true, bitching at the band on a forum is pretty useless

What about Cornell when he was promoting Scream? His sets were pretty damn long and fantastic!

  3. i can't see SIB or FTI go, they're big sing-along tracks.

from ATS, i see WTCFM and wretches going. they've already been dropping wretches, which sucks - love that song...

Maybe they'll bring SIB back, rotate it in with FTI, they cannot drop FTI though that's one of my all time FAV LP songs I would cry. Here's my prediction

Hybrid Theory- ITE, OSC, Crawling, Papercut (not at every show), APFMH or another old song for a super special occasion.

Meteora- Breaking the Habit, Faint, FTI / SIB (rotate the two), LFY

M2M- WID, BIO, Given Up / NMS (rotate the two

ATS- Catalyst, Jornada and WTFE, Iridescent, BITS, Blackout / Wretches & Kings (rotate the two)

  4. Too early to tell, but sounds like my prediction of meteora meets a thousand suns was correct on this track, it's kind of like a mesh of meteora, dead by sunrise, and the signature bass of a thousand suns, I like it! My next prediction from this clip will be that this won't necessarily be any new genre buster, but just a comfortable record, while at the same time, being epic in the Linkin Park sense, which is similar to what the band has been saying anyway!

  5. I know it will never happen but they could co headline together

Agreed, Linkin Park and Muse are both my two favorite bands of all time, I refuse to rule out that possibility, and they already both played Rock In Rio in 08, even if not on the same night (or was it the same night I can't remember?) They're both from different countries and one could ask the other to be a guest in a home country tour!

  6. Hmm $16 isn't bad, also never got to see SDC on PR08 because of the signing booth of Chris Cornell.

Definitely go if you get the chance they're very skilled musicians, though of course you can't compare them to the legendary Cornell. If Chester really does come out I hope they do a few DBS songs, I read here that Ryan said they might :D

  7. LP and Muse should do an arena tour.

YES, and then close it at Wembley Stadium with plenty of guests and collabs ;) Matt Bellamy on Iridescent, his falsetto would tear up the gang vocals.

  8. Mine's a bit unrealistic but I would LOVE to see Nightwish, Dream Theater, and Linkin Park on the same tour. LP needs to bring out some prog for the next record and this can happen :D Well, DT would be the lesser of two evils.

    Main Stage

    Linkin Park

    Nightwish

    Dream Theater

    Muse

    Korn

    Jay-Z (select dates)

    Revolution Stage

    Julien-K

    Paramore

    The Shins

    Lacuna Coil

Adrenaline Mob (not happening if Dream Theater is there lmao)
