-
I'm so confused, this Set will be only for this special date ?
What do you think ?
The picture of the setlist says Main Headline Set so I would like to assume they'll be playing it in Europe, but I really don't wanna jinx the good luck we're having at the moment so I won't guarantee it.
-
why do they still play SOTD/LOATR? Such buzzkills. I'm sure no one would go to the box office and demand their dinero back if they were dropped
With a setlist like that, let them play whatever other slow songs they want. For me personally, With You does to LOATR what alcohol does to well.... you get the idea!
-
WITH YOU IS BACK???? OH MY FUCKING GOD, NO FUCKING WAY.... I'M LITERALLY TEARING UP IN HAPPINESS RIGHT NOW!! RUNAWAY TOO
-
the filtered track from 1:00
It really reminded of the song Ruled By Secrecy by Muse
-
If I talked about what I'd like to see in the setlist this time, I'd say so:
Would be very cool to see them let go of "all of the hit singles" formula, would be good to see some songs like "With You", "Points Of Authority", "Don't Stay", "In Pieces", "Valentine's Day" make their way back into the rotation. Would be even better if they suddenly will please us with "Easier To Run" or "Figure.09"(well, that, pretty much, will never happen)..
..but on the other hand I gotta keep things real:
I guess the differences with ATS cycle will be very little, maybe 3 older(honestly, I'd say these could be any songs from the back catalogue, but most likely it'll be something heavy, since they've been talking a lot about "energy of the live shows" recently,) songs will be added to rotation, besides the 2 new ones.
Everything from ATS cycle will still be there at the times, besides interludes, "Blackout" and "The Messenger". I also hope, that "When They Come For Me" will be out of rotation this time.
Just my 5 cents.
When They Come For Me is an epic live song, I hope that one stays for a while. The reaction it got during the MSG show was almost shameful on the audience. Everyone complains they want more of Mike rapping and that song is Mike's song.
-
Wishful thinking- but it's an LPU show. LPU members would know the unreleased stuff, so time for QWERTY to make another appearance
Haha, that would be awesome but i doubt it
I think there's a better chance of them playing 26 Lettaz In Da Alphabet, but hey prove me wrong LP!
-
I really don't want to jinx anything or make predictions but if they're performing Papercut at KROQ shortened show could this mean a possible variety in the songs this cycle? And very interested to hear this new intro and outro they have planned for my favorite ATS song
-
There will be 4 staff members there... We'll have to have SOMETHING planned.
Maybe.
Sweet, shit's gonna be cray
-
I still hope they close with OSC this tour, but who's to say BBoys isn't Backstreet Boys Also, that letter above the encore looks like it could either be Crawling or OSC, looks more like a C to me.
-
Thankfully I'm getting the tickets as a bday present, so I'll definitely be renewing my membership for this epic opportunity. There had best be something epic regarding lplive too, I want my state represented well!!
-
Everyone's predicting Lost In The Echo as an opener and we haven't even heard it yet o.O
-
u mad?

My jimmies are so rustled I'm gonna run away and never say goodbye.

It would be cool if they did body scans of all the members, and included a different member on each single cover. So for example a song that's Mike heavy, include Mike, guitar heavy Brad, bass heavy Dave, and drum heavy (Victimized maybe?) Rob, and then make Tinfoil a single for Joe
-
Can't say I saw this coming, I've always placed LP and Korn in the same category, but Julien-K and Korn? Kinda difficult to believe this...
-
Looking at the album as a whole Blackout to me is a song about the government, and how inevitably, they somehow screw us over. At the same time, we all want to be patriots and believe the best of our country and the way it's run, hence the lines "I'm stuck in this bed you made, alone with a sinking feeling, I saw through the words you said, to the secrets you've been keeping." The secrets refer to how the government runs things. The band is watching the world fall apart, and they can't help but hold on to the lies the government is spreading because they think that they can still hold up this lie as a truth.
-
This completely destroyed my hype... I was really hoping for a MTM-driven sound...
More rap and dubstep remixes...
Agreed, I had gotten an M2M with electronic bass lines sound vibe from the earlier descriptions, but I'm really glad they didn't take that suggestion to have others produce their songs. Continues to show how original the band can be
-
Verse 1: Doo doo doo do doo, doo do doo, do do, doo doo do do doo, doo doo, doo doo doo
-
Didn't they say somewhere that the only new song that they're adding is Burn It Down?
Yessir they did, for Europe anyways.
High Voltage (Reprise)
With You
Figure.09
In Pieces
Blackout
Wretches & Kings
Don't Stay
-
I'm actually glad they're airing it so late on the east coast, no worried about getting home in time!

Thank you!! Also in response to the whole WTCFM business, I love that song, it represents the epic side of the band. Runaway is a crowd pleaser, nothing more. Both are good in their own respective ways, but the first would probably fit more in a setlist aimed to please the new era fans. Probably a safer choice.
