  1. Just visited Cali a few months ago in February and it was 60F where here in Alabama, it was 20F - 30F. It never gets 'cold' there.
  2. I went to my local shop and they opened at 9AM. I was there at 8:50AM and they were already open. They had two copies and already had sold both. So, I got The White Stripes "Elephant" instead....
  3. I would be happy if it was Linkin Park & Maroon 5 Co-Headlining.....
  4. I was recently browsing my local record store when I found this in the Rock section. I freaked out and immediatly purchased it for $2. My question is how good of a find is this? Did I get a good deal? The record looks like it is in decent shape with only minor cosmetic damages. What do you guys think?
  5. On my first listen through: Homecoming: A great track with no vocals, but it has a very clear structure where to vocals should have gone. Very verse-chorus-verse-chorus. Very Linkin Park and very reminiscent of the MTM era stuff. Sorta uplifting vibe to it. Points of Authority (Demo): I haven't ever heard this version, though other people said they have. I like the mixed-up verses and the new sink or swim part. Very different than the final version. Clarity: Clanky/Electro intro sound neat, as the guitars slowly weave their way in the verse. The build up to the chorus is neat. Almost sounds like they were missing the lead guitars, drums, and vocals being tracked for this song. Asbestos: Aggressive, fast, rap/rock track. Sorta reminds me of Given Up. Almost doesn't sound like Mike. Short and sweet song. Bunker: Wierd electro intro with drums and scratches. Instrumental track, not intended to have vocals on it. Almost sounds like some samples of Session are in it. Clearly Session beat out this instrumental on MTM. So Far Away: Wow. Mike singing on a 1998 track. Crazy. And he has full singing duties, he does the ENTIRE song. Aggressive guitars. With some polish, this could have been a great HT track or B-Side. Pepper: Mellow intro/verse. Rockin' chrous. Nothing really special about the track. Bridge reminds me of listen to cicadas (bugs) in my backyard during the summer. Debris: Big drums, Mike raps. Feels Fort Minor-ish. GANG VOCALS. Missing 2nd verse and Bridge. Nice song. Ominous: Nice guitar intro. Blows up but not Nu-Metal, just rock. Instrumental, but has a vocal structure. Thee guitar is very prominent but not Nu-Metal heavy like normal LP songs from this era. Neat song, and very unique for the time in LP's life. Forgotten: I'm not sure if this one has been heard yet or not, but it is pretty much what you'd think. A rough sounding 'Forgotten'. Some of the lyrics are changed. Nothing Pretty awesome LPU CD this year. Some VERY unique songs on here and well worth the purchase.
  6. I saw the video, but I don't remember exactly what he said. I am contact Love & Death (Head's band) about putting the video back up.
  7. That's awesome! Glad they are playing some Orgy stuff seeing how Jay Gordan screwed them over!
  8. I remember at PR07, I got my DSP (or whatever they called it at the time) at the booth and they gave me a Blank CD and the PR07 artwork CD Insert. In Nashville 2008, I'm 99% sure we got a code on the big screen because it was something like "LPNASH08". Also, I remember Mark asking for it the next day after cause he was so upset he missed the show (and APFMH). lol. PR08 in Atlanta, I'm like 80% sure we got a code, but no real details to provide proof. ATS in Atlanta, I'm 100% sure we got one. But that's cool. I agree about not arguing about it. It something small and no matter what we say hear, they aren't providing codes this tour, and that's that I guess.
  9. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the 2008 Winter Tour in Nashy and PR 2008 in ATL BOTH had download codes at the concert, as well as the ATS tour in Atlanta. So yeah, I expect an outrageous $100 ticket to include an official bootleg of the show, as has been done the past 3/4 times I've seen them. But, oh well, I love Pooch, so I might still get it.
  10. I got my DVR set to record! It is listed as "Honda Civic Tour Presents Linkin Park & Incubus". It is from 10PM - 1AM so it is a full 3 hour show, so that means it'll be full sets for each band! Proshot Vicitimized/QWERTY = EPIC!!!
  11. So, I attended the Alpharetta, GA concert. I just noticed that I never saw a code for the DSP. Are they doing DSP codes for those who attended this year? If not, that is such a rip off. $100+ for a ticket and I still have to pay for a DSP?
  12. I was in the chat and the person asked about touring Russia. He repeated the question and then mumbled something about 2013 and that he didn't know any of the touring plans for 2013. 99% sure that's how it played out.
  13. I'm excited for anyone who goes. The Victimized/QWERTY mashup is one of the most epic things I have seen the band do. Anyone who gets to see the band while they have this much energy poured into the set is truly a lucky person.
  14. This show was the 2nd best Linkin Park concert I've seen. (Only behind Pro Rev 07 in Atlanta) The band were ON FIRE. All the energy the ATS tour cycle lacked has been made up times 10. Extremely great performance and setlist. Highlights of the night: Victimized/QWERTY (creepy visuals +1), moshing during SIB & OSC, and hearing APFMH again!!! Low points of the night: LGM - sounded like it is slower live than the studio and just sounded off.
  15. SET C: LOST IN THE ECHO / WHAT I'VE DONE / ONE STEP CLOSER SET A: BURN IT DOWN / IN THE END / BLEED IT OUT SET B: Um, everything?
  16. Yes, it has! I've been trying to keep on top of it, but I'm at work. I'll help as much as I can!
  17. Mike Shinoda Clan Twitter https://twitter.com/mikeshinodaclan/status/...543542699372544 https://twitter.com/mikeshinodaclan/status/...544162340671489
  18. I'm so glad I'm gonna get Set B in Alpharetta. I like the flow of it the best. Set A gets killed in the encore. Set B is filthy. EDIT: 2 "Acoustic" songs played before the Q&A. 1. The Messenger 2. In My Remains
  19. Haha. Just saw it on LPA first. Gotta promote richardthinks! Pretty good setlist layout with apfmh openung.

  21. Roughly 37 mins until the rehearsal begins. Excited for Mark, he might actually get to hear APFMH live.
  22. That's incorrect info. In the chat he actually said that he wasn't sure what the tour plans were for 2013.
  23. Maybe add this to the main post? Some of the interview has been revealed, but still no video/audio. http://loudwire.com/linkin-park-talk-longe...n-hall-session/
