  1. Interesting enough we had the Coconut Teaszer date when we discovered the date for the Mill Ave show, and we had the Fullerton date when we discovered the Big Fish Pub show in Tempe. So we discovered 2 new dates very close to already known ones, there have to be more around these dates too. The Wisconsin venue still exists, why doesn't someone go ahead and ask if they have any records maybe?
  2. The Lynus Brook show xD
  3. Awesome! I'm sure if the "same old" Westminster. Las Vegas is not a TV master for sure,
  4. They are lazy. The HT.com Esaul is not in there though.
  5. March 19th was a thursday in 1998. That works with all the shows, you don't need the exact year if you know the weekday.
  6. Yeah but that was good advertisement, Grey Daze was pretty famous in that area.
  7. Last night we got some unexpected throwback items courtesy of Anna Shinoda - Xero flyers from 1998! Make sure you also read her blogpost "College, Sunset Strip, and Meeting Mike" One of the flyers even uses the band name "Xero 818" that was previously mentioned in a couple of interviews. 3 new shows to add to our guide: 27.02.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Whisky a Go Go 19.03.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Billboard Live -> now the Key Club 20.06.1998 West Hollywood, CA, The Roxy Theatre 10.10.1998 Hollywood, CA, Hollywood Athletic Club - Zomba Singing Party 10.12.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Whisky a Go Go EDIT: Anna has submitted three more awesome pieces of history here and here!
  8. It's weird that it does change to "Xero 818" in between while all the others use the real Xero logo. This one just looks like someone did the flyer in photoshop or ms word.
  9. Added this show and the new Xero dates we found thanks to Anna Shinoda to the guide. We don't know for sure how true that "national tour" statement is. Unless that this time it was already knows they would do a national tour a year later, but it doesn't seem that likely to me since it seems they were not signed to Warner yet. Over the span of 1999 they must have also played the 40+ label showcases until they got signed in late 1999, according to the Rolling Stone article.
  10. From the flyers Anna Shinoda posted on twitter: 27.02.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Whisky a Go Go 19.03.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Billboard Live -> now the Key Club 20.06.1998 West Hollywood, CA, The Roxy Theatre 10.10.1998 Hollywood, CA, Hollywood Athletic Club - Zomba Signing Party 10.12.1998 West Hollywood, CA, Whisky a Go Go Also additional confirmation for the ones we already had.
  11. It's not US only but simple logic implies that you will be able to go when you win tickets.
  12. That might be right, over 300 for the entire year 1999/2000 and 2001 combined sounds about right. This interview here for example says: For the next 12 months [after the album release], if you wanted to get in touch with members of Linkin Park, you would have to have scoured the globe for them. In the 365 days following the release of Hybrid Theory, Farrell estimates that the band played a shade over 300 gigs. “We were averaging about five or six shows a week and then travelling too. I think I only spent about 30 nights in my own bed that year.” He totally estimates that number. 30 days in his own bed still doesn't make it over 300 shows. 1 or 2 days off a week makes it easily 50-100 off days where they didn't plays shows in between.
  13. I know the pic sucks, couldn't find a better one right now, but how could they fuck up that shirt (top left). I'm really curious who in the PR team came up with the claim that the band played over 320 shows in one year/2001. They did play a lot of shows but 6 shows every week within a year is just impossible. It's in the Rolling Stone text, the iTunes summary (which says 1998 for Chester btw) and MTV used that info a lot too.
  14. I just corrected the venue/place which makes May 27th 2000 a possible date for it. We don't know for sure if they played this place just once. They surely didn't do that many AZ shows in the early days, we just don't know.
  15. Like we already posted on Twitter/Facebook yesterday, it's the Mill Ave Sport Rock Cafe in Tempe, AZ. Maybe May 2000, it's really hard to tell. I don't think Scott played with them in 1999.
  16. The 3:20 version is from the full cassette rip with all the 3 songs. Too bad I never downloaded all the songs back then, just Here Nearby.
  17. Jen's pic is a bonus pic and not one of the ones they got from the LPU.
  18. "Your song may even end up on the upcoming LPU13 album due out later this year." If it doesn't end up on the CD it could be still released digitally.
  19. Sounds about right to me what you just said. But where is this other Kill The Flies from? Did it come out with the other Grey Daze demos?
  20. I think I know what he's talking about, there was a really bad "first" rip of the SDAHF songs. I think the 2nd and better version came out around the time the other Grey Daze demos popped up, maybe that's why they are mistaken for Grey Daze. This was really a long time ago, I have a rip from 2006. wasn't Painted Pictures "new" at some point, cause it was missing from the first rip or something like that. I've never listen to that 3:27 version, such a big difference. It's obviously longer because of the silence at the end. Don't trust the LPA wiki too much, everytime I stumble upon it when I research something it's either not helpful or some of the info is clearly wrong.
  21. You are right, the whole voting seem to be LPU only, the top 10 only get showcased on lpu.com according to the email. So the top 2 actually win the grand prize, not just the first place?
  22. Forgotten/Rhinestone is listed as Frgt/10 now http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWri...uerytype=WorkID the BMI is really weird, while all the Forgotten versions are under 1 title, the other reanimation songs are seperate. Or was the original Rhinestone just removed?
  23. I like the whole contest idea but the voting thing is something that annoys me. They pick a top 10 so either of these is probably very good no matter who wins, but internet voting can easily manipulated. Just look at the recent case with the meet Taylor Swift thing, where so creepy 39 year old guy was winning because they wanted to make it happen (I think it was cool though) and it ended up being canceled, lol.
  24. Isn't it in there as Rhinestone?
