the socket allows signals like buttons etc. on your headphones so it probably uses something like that to verify it's plugged in. Since it gets power from the socket it maybe just sends a signal "hey i'm here".

It doesn't transfer data, it's a dongle. What I'm more curious about, can you still access the data once plugair is unplugged cause it obviously prevents you from using headphones.

I think the LPU12 shipping was only free in the beginning. I just paid $13 shipping for 3 CD's, with only one being a jewel case. As far as I can remember shipping was free only that one time, honestly you can't expect them to ship everything for free all over the world. They'll lose money on this.

I wouldn't call the package price "absurd", yes it's more but it's still a good price. I guess we'll see how much the summits costs. They should really lower the price. While the price is up I think that's still more fair for everyone cause 99% were paying for a summit they never had a chance to go to. So for $25 you still get your online membership, presale, meet & greets and the early entry. I think that's still what the majority wants and still a very good deal for the biggest part of the LPU. Buy an LP shirt at a show and it costs $40.

Right put people also paid for the summits they had no chance to go to. You can only buy the merch package when you already have a LPU13 membership, that's the only reason it exists. So if you can go for the online only first you can still get the other stuff without buying another full year of membership with the $57 package. With the increased price you think about it twice if you go online only or the full package. Back in the day the difference was like 10 bucks or so, so that was not really a hard decision. It's not a glitch, you just can't buy the laminate or the merch package without a lpu13 membership. Otherwise I could just buy the laminate for 5 bucks, and get early entry for an entry year without being a member for the whole time, that would be a glitch!

Both the full + the online only membership gets you M&G's The laminate is sold separately for $5 (which is also $25 total with the online membership). The laminate gets you the early entry.

They should make the summit passes a lot cheaper then, on the other hand like 99% of the people basically paid for a summit they never got. That Primo is the best or one of the best songs was really not hard to guess. Why should they promote it with a weak instrumental track? It got them exactly the hype they expected.

I think only for LPU12 was the CD $1, not the download. But if you pay for the download and get the CD for $1 that's a really fair deal imo.

He said that some of the LPU tracks each year are clearly mp3 sourced, because they didn't have them in higher quality o whatever. But that's no excuse for them to offer the mp3 download not in the highest possible (mp3) quality. The mp3 download should come free with the purchase the package and/or the CD. I hope they changed that. You are kind of forced into buying it twice, if you want to listen to it instantly, which is complete bullshit.

His eyes were pretty bad so he had a quite big correction, the eyes become naturally worse again by the time and the surgery can only be done a few times. It's not like every person can do it only 2 times. It even differs from eye to eye.
