The intro is awesome. We believe that the live version will be much better than the album. Hopefully soon to hear on the concerts.

And by the way anyone else noticed the intro? We heard it before, I think it was on some lpu video?

 

You miss the point. I meant I would rather wait a while longer and get an organized release that sounds better, and maybe even has the files synchronized, than what we got. The longer wait would have been worth it in the end.

 

I was saying that WHOEVER put the trakcks out this way, I would still like a better release that includes the work that was going to be put into it.

I was referring to Astat's post saying that these tracks were leaked, when the intention was to eventually release them in a more organized fashion, with better sound quality. I can also italicize for emphasis.

 

Furthermore, of course it's a "leak". It doesn't matter when the album came out. These are multitracks, not the album version of the song. Similar to how the HT instrumentals were "leaked" 11 years after the album came out. Same principle. They weren't officially released. They.....leaked.

 

So most of LPL exclusives are leaks. Bad LPL baaaaad LPL. I call something a "leak" when it's about a new song or album or anything before it's official release. If I'm wrong, sorry. I think I already said somewhere that we can't share this stuff, and I would be stupid to first ask WB people, get an straightforward message to not share and then share.

Or share here instead. LPCatalog planned to share them here. Both Runaway and By Myself ones.

We planned but with a no go from Warner we couldn't. We will post the info with a tracklist thanks to Astat on our page sometime next week.

I mean, don't let this leak stop you guys. Any release from y'all that has that much hard work put into it would be amazing regardless of any premature leak.

On a side note, how is a regular exclusive release a "premature leak" How is any release 17 years after the album date a "leak"? Rhetorical question, don't answer...

I know people that went to this show. They definitely DID play a new song. It wasn't broadcast for whatever reason.

edit: now when I'm playing it again it sounds quite good. My bad. But them heels are still too high though

Those still functioned as rehearsals for the tour. Those rehearsals were just filmed for those stores so they'd have exclusives to drive album sales their way.

So probably rehearsing for the video shoot? too early for the tour rehearsals i think

Or they are rehearsing for a series of promo appearances just like they did before at Third Encore: AOL, Walmart etc.

i hope it's not another "Linkin Park Live" tour with 2-3 new songs.

It probably is, oh well There is a chance that LP could play at the new Stadion Śląski in Chorzów. Official deadline for workers at the site is set on 15.06.2017. The official opening is planned few days later. Although some officials already said that they are currently talking with 3 top artists, one of them is Metallica who is most probable band to play there. Source

On LPCatalog you wrote "some of the tracks are slightly different from the final material".

Could you please post which tracks are different and what the differences are in a similar fashion to the comparison guide?

Sure, when I find some time this week. I think there are 3-4 tracks where changes are noticeable but will listen to the rest of the songs again.

Why so cryptic about where this is from when you state it outright in the description for this promo on the LPC website?

 

I mean props for finding it and all and I get that watermarked discs are more iffy to release material from than a typical promo, but I feel like you're kind of giving people false hope about it when you guys are probably the only active people in the community with a copy of this promo CD anyway.

Because the person we got it from asked politely not to share the information of the origin, remove the owner's name and not share anything from the CD in the near future. And as much as we would like to share everyting, we have to respect that. If we didn't, good luck getting anything else in the future (whether it's just an interesting info about something or another promo)

And sure, I get it that some of you might be pissed about it but hey, this is how it works today. This is a thread called "The Unreleased Songs" and as far as I know any info about any particular song is welcomed, correct? That's why I posted something I actually can and is actually legit info. If there's anything anyone wants to know about any track from the promo, just ask and I'll check and post the info, that's all I can do for now.
