    In no particular order:

    1. Releasing Live in Texas as a DVD instead of any of their headlining tours during the Meteora era. Yeah it was the first time they played stadiums, but that really didn't mean much when they were only half full when LP (the third band out of five on the bill) took the stage.

*BONUS: The "cutting 5 songs from the Live in Texas CD tracklisting and releasing them as the LPU 3 CD" debacle was downright insulting to their fan club.

    2. Doing Hybrid Theory in its entirety as a one-off at Download Festival instead of the originally-planned Hybrid Theory-themed club tour (and by extension, not playing several songs from HT more than once on the THP cycle, even though they spent significant time rehearsing them).

    3. Cutting the Living Things touring cycle so short.

    4. Discontinuing the DSP program/not bothering to go back and release shows that they had previously recorded (stuff like Wantagh 2007 when they worked things out to release the show from the same venue in 2008, for example).

*BONUS: Running a "what was your favorite song from Projekt Revolution" poll on LP.com without telling anyone what they intended to use that information for, and then using the top 10 results for the LPU 7 CD, which consisted entirely of material pulled from DSPs that everyone already exchanged online at a time when the band encouraged it...that was an even bigger insult to the LPU than the LPU 3 situation. BTW, I correctly predicted what the poll was being used for the same day it went up, and nobody believed me...

    5. Rebooting the LP.com/LPU community every few years with different hosting companies after bailing on Sparkart in 2009. Even to this day, their online community has never recovered to being anything close to what it was during the pre-2009 era.

Making this thread pages even bigger rotfl

    1. I have purchased my first copy of LiT in Switzerland in 2004 (good times) and believe it or not it stuck with me for a long time. Besides everything that you guys are saying here about choosing this one for a DVD, the worst thing imho was cutting some songs off the CD (then throwing the cut-outs on LPU CD wtf? Some would say it was obvious cash grab, easiest way possible since they already had stuff recorded and mixed) and of course censoring the whole thing like just Rate it and get over with fucks and shits here and there, no big deal.

    2. Of course LP/JZ, this had so much potential, imagine a WORLD tour KoRn, LP, Jay-Z and few other bands along. CC album has the lowest count of songs played live i think.

    3. DSP program -> all has been already said here, not to mention our efforts to get all of them! (this was by far the best initiative LP fans could do back then) the prices were OK, and LP surely could make a stable profit off these throughout the years. Little do we/you know, as far as I remember, discontinuing the program was forced by: a) Small amount of people buying them, b) royalities that had to be paid in order to sell the DSPs c) other stuff, like venue agreements to record and sell. These are the things I sure remember that we discussed and some of them have been confirmed (especially the purchases numbers) Like you guys said, one of the best ideas for a band to deliver to fans and one of the worst advertised things LP did.

    4. Tour-wise I think I can agree with what Astat said about HT live and LT live. HT should have had a smaller club tour around the globe, while LT should have had more concerts. I don't want to start the stupid topic "2345677 concerts in Germany while other countries got 1 or none" here because we all know how it works, right?

    5. Last but not least the thing that always pissed me off, the websites. Like I don't get it, if something looks good, works good, and people are generally happy about how it all fits, why do you have to change things 180 degrees? Starting on LPU ending on LP.com, 2000-2003ish I believe were the years all worked enough good to leave it that way (especially lp.com forums and of course LPU forums too) Then MTM happened with all the fancy websites called LPNetwork nobody really cared about...then every other stuff that sucked too. The only time lp.com had some potential to look both cool and be functional was 2010 but of course they had to screw it up by putting too many shit on the main page..

The worst thing was always the total site swap (what was a bit cool sometimes, the excitement and stuff but only for a split sec) and later on the developers swap which was a total disaster over the years...Imho better way was to continue LPU 1,2,3,4 main page designs and just changing the themes of the new year than a total page swap which occured during lpu7 i think and later on. This applies to forums too.

  2. Any of you guys familiar with The Witcher Game? And that it's based on a book by Sapkowski who was stupid enough to decline an offer from game developers which stated that he will be paid a percentage off copies sold worldwide. He declined that and  wanted 35 000 zlotys -> about 7K USD. Yes, he thoguht the game won't be a hit. Also he was greedy. Well, they signed an agreement on basically his terms. Guess what 🤣 The game was a huge success, sequels are a massive success til today and guess what again, he was bitching he got not enough money! Hhahaha that's right folks, agreement was on his terms, hge agreed to everything and when the game made 1 BILLION zlotys (yest one fin billion back in the day). There is a plot twist. Project Red - game developers were kind enough to come forward and propose a settlement (of course they didn't have to) so Sapkowski could get some extra money. Case closed. Similar thing.

I'm not saying Ryu/SOB f-off but things like that are stupid enough to not see the daylight in public, yet the started bitching about it on forums/tiwtter/whatever platform. Kinda childish. Also to blame Mike for everything? Shit, they must have forgotten (from the top to the bottom lol) Mike is in LP and as much as it sounds kinda off, this is his priority. Well they're adults too so can;t imagine they couldn't work out something "on the fly" Yet, on other hand it's kinda sad it ended that way, not to mention what Mike pulled off with Welcome (like I'd love to get a f-in clarification from Mike to finally end this fan dispute over a song..)

  3. Digging this up cause at this exact moment me with Mark have discovered that there are at least two different No More sorrows on the singles:

  4. Ok so I have finished gathering available data at this time. These are the versions I managed to find (will update if new info comes around)

    AMENDS.pdf

Also if  they didn't care like Sean says he wouldn't reply in such a bad manner in the first place so they do care and they probably crying out loud why people found out DA TRUtH about their greedy personality :)

They can't really market it as Chester's "lost music" if people already have access to it because it came out in the 90s. Of course they're gonna try and stamp out whatever they can of the old stuff. That's what people who only care about $$$ would do.

It's not them, it's Kerrang! marketing it as the lost music of Chester....jajajaja 🤣 On topic, i said that already but will say it again, this "marketing" or "promotion" name it as you want is a shot in the foot, and I mean big time...starting from banning everything prior to amends (Discogs, ebay, youtube) and ending with sending emails trying to remove articles that aren't what they expect lol I really hope this stuff will derail them sooner than later, for real..and then there are the vinyls a real cash grab, di*k move, $ellout.

  6. Something somewhere went wrong on this list and people who listen to crap to be honest. Back in the day songs meant something, and now? no ocmment on some of the songs on the list..

Also LP isn't even on Global Digital Artist Ranking, Spotify Charts or itunes. WHAT THE HELL?

Up to 9 vinyls so far. http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Amends#Gallery

2 CDs, but combo packages with CDs, a DVD, books, etc. Obviously with that many vinyls there are many ways to package the album. So we are at a higher amount of OFFERINGS of the album, by far the most I have seen from any band. Maybe 15-16 offerings?

Hah, this took me 2 hours to find and crosscheck. Fun to do but not fun to spend money on. Now the thing is where to get all scans from? I'd like to get spotify LP - it seems the most appropriate one to have (besides the CD with 2 bonuse tracks if they're on the actual cd of course)

They also kept mentioning a Walmart variation of the CD, but I haven't noticed any sort of proof from Walmart, though.

Probably the same version as Target - with two bonus tracks (we're not sure at the moment if they're on the cd or as a digital downloadable content)

So when they were recording the album of course there are different vocal takes for the songs. I believe what happened was, if I can get the story straight from the interviews they've given, someone found all the master tapes in their attic of all the multitracks. I forgot who it was, someone here knows I'm sure. Anyway so Sean says they mixed in some of the alternate takes/demo vocal takes for some of these songs. It all started with them building the songs from the vocals FIRST, so they'd edit the hell out of the vocal tracks to make them, then add music later.

Now I don't know if Sean said that to just bullshit people and sell more albums, but I am inclined to believe him on that topic at least. Some of you tech savvy people can tell us if you hear differences in the vocals of some of the songs or not.

Well, despite how strongly I don't want it to be in the Newswire, I can't stiff-arm the rest of the staff into not posting about updates on a project that features an LP member, no matter what my personal feelings are on it. We agreed absolutely no social media for this because of a wide variety of reasons (some of which include we will not be promoting anyone who trashes Mike in the press) but I think it's a bit excessive if I try to stiffly demand/rule that the project can't be talked about at all on the forums. We talk about all sorts of stuff here, no matter how people feel about it. Like for example, we have the thread on Mace printing fake Grey Daze CDs at his home, selling them signed on eBay for thousands of dollars, and arguing with LP fans saying they were authentic. No matter how negatively we feel about it personally we have to draw the line and say "this is an LP fansite, it's applicable to at least some of the fans so we need to allow it here." Just because JZLP and Subs disagree with us on it doesn't mean they are bad people by any means. They have some fair points at times, like when we'd post GD for years and unveil studio sessions, demos, live shows, etc. But that was before things turned for the worst with Sean turning into a true dick.

I noticed you saw that Grey Daze used the "for the fans by the fans" LPLive tag on their album listening party, ha.

Yes, agreed about the LP Ambassadors. They ripped the entire group to a new group (without asking anyone to join, they just added everyone to a group - half of them were added by just asking fans to sign up for email updates from Grey Daze and then they randomly demanded these fans promote their album as "Grey Daze Ambassadors") and said promote this stuff. Then blocked fans after cussing at them on social media if they voiced even the slightest concern. They are psychos. I made a private Facebook post about the band on my Facebook page, somehow someone sent it to Sean so he tracked me down and emailed me, private messaged me, and tried to add me. So I sent the label a 10+ paragraph email about how the entire project is a disaster, how the band is going off the rails with social media and using their band platform to try and disparage Linkin Park fans with inappropriate language, how any efforts by the label to promote the album were being wasted because of the actions of the band, how insanely inappropriate it is for them to use Linkin Park Underground material to promote the album and sell Linkin Park images in multiple stores, how much of a cash grab it looks when they sell 8-10 vinyl versions of the album after coming out of nowhere, how the band is straight up lying and acting like absolute morons in the press publicly and even going along with/insinuating Chester was not happy in Linkin Park aka changing the LP band narrative, and how they are using the exact people to promote the album who:

    1) said Mike Shinoda is profiting off of Chester's death by playing "In the End" live

    2) destroy Talinda 24/7/365 with lies all across social media

    3) destroy Linkin Park, their band's management, and record label, saying the Hollywood Bowl show was an extremely disrespectful show to Chester

    4) lie by saying Chester was not allowed to use social media at all unless the record label approved each tweet

    5) lie by saying Chester and Mike were not friends at all

    6) lie by saying Chester was bullied by Mike the entire duration of Linkin Park's career and he had no voice of his own in the band

Like it or not, these people are the face of the promotion for the album and that is a 100% fact and it taints the entire project and paints it in a TERRIBLE light.

They didn't even have the audacity to reply to the email at all. Nothing. No response.

I am shocked Talinda hasn't come out and told these guys to fuck off. Honestly surprised Mike hasn't said "we aren't supporting this straight BS at all" too.

Wow didn't think you'd have the balls to write such stuff, but here we are. Guess you could know by now why I am not a part if this stuff and to be honest never wanted to be in the first place (GD ambassadros out of nowhere? Random people from the internet? Just remember how it all went with LP Ambassadors, the first batch that is - they contacted people they mostly know IN PERSON, that's right folks, Adam/Lorenzo did know like 99% of the first ambassadors in person, have contacted them talking about the whole idea. Then have spoken with them over Skype about how the things would go. This is how you work and this is how you prevent things from derailing along the way) That's one thing. Second thing - all the things connected to the listening parties, like some demands, exact things people had to do in order to stream. Wow bad decisions all over the place. No wonder some people resigned to be an ambassador...

Yes, a rip is out there. Funny enough the band is freaking out about a "leak." Did they really think they could stream the album publicly for the entire world without anyone recording it? lol

Sean, you don't say? I might know the individual who not only could leak the album but HE PRINTED RE-ISSUES OF ONE PARTICULAR ALBUM AND SOLD THEM ON EBAY. OF COURSE YOU GUYS SAY THERE ARE NO REISSUES OF THAT PARTICULAR ALBUM. Ha ha (Nelson from The Simpsons laugh) THE TrUtH  will come out eventually!!111onetwo

Sean's got way more money than me, clearly thinks he knows more than me (or anybody else for that matter), and rewrites history as he sees fit. He doesn't need my help to promote an album. And considering I've deleted all but like 3 members of my own family off of Facebook and mostly cut them off from seeing my daughter for being far less ideologically insufferable than he is, I wouldn't particularly want to. There are certain people you couldn't pay me enough to associate with, and he's one of them.

My thoughts on Sean Dowdell as a person predate the promo for Amends, Chester's death, or Tattooed Millionaire, by the way. People need to get this straight: I would have zero interest in giving this man my money even if Chester was alive today and enthusiastically promoting this album alongside him. My mind was made up long ago, the drama surrounding Amends has only served to reinforce my opinion.

Expect a lawsuit coming your way!1111

Ok laughs aside, you're absolutely right.

I hear that "Brennan" the owner of "LPCATALOG"
has the "POA, APFMH And With You" multitracks

I think he would sell each for more than $ 600 each,
according to a friend he offered $ 500 for "APFMH" More like it didn't work.

well if he has it or not there is no way to know, more because he is the greatest collector of things on the LP it is possible that he does.

there is a site "mixthemusic.com" where they get the artist's multitracks and sells on the site for $ 10 each multitracks, part of the money and assigned to the band and label, I think it would be nice if we could do something for any of these multitracks were on that site, and we could buy legally.
    It's a good idea :)

Brennan is not the owner of lpcatalog nor he has stuff you've mentioned. Also he is not selling multitrack files. Please stop posting false information :)

And what has marriage to being a collector? His wifey doesnt like LP 😂

This huge collection takes alot of space so I assume they want more space? Also like many other said, a particular period of time has ended in 2017. I don't blame people are moving forward. The wife thing was just a stupid joke on my side (was it really? hah)

  11. Ok so had to edit my post, initially I thought that Circuit City and BestBuy What'Ive Done are identical, I mean was the gang that good too pull out almost identical performances? (like the beginning, with Hahn scratching is identical to my ears) Now I really don't know if I was right or not..

btw, @Hahninator Third Encore website on all pages is http://www.3rdencoreoc.com/ instead of http://www.3rdencore.com/
