The new song, based on the snippet played by Mike, definitely has punk rock influences (more like pop punk), which explains the imagery we've been seeing for the last few days. If this turns out to be an album, I think we might hear other songs in this style.
That was much more along the lines of what I was expecting based on the imagery he's been providing us. Something along the lines of that and like Death Grips or Ghostemane style beats. Trying not to judge the song before I hear the whole thing but so far, it's probably another in a long line of things that just haven't been to my taste. Good for him for doing what he wants though, it's not all gonna land for everyone.

I really wish we had that version of Lost included. I'm guessing they don't have those stems anymore. Still, really cool to hear a little more of that version of the song after all these years. -

The one thing that irks me about these anniversary releases is that i wish the vinyl box had the lost demos pressed alongside the lpu demos instead of more live shows.
Some of the songs on these Lost demos discs feel so vital for deep-diving fans that I feel they really missed a step doing it the way they have and putting so much of the live stuff on vinyl instead.
Would love for the vinyl boxes to essentially be a monument to all the studio work that went into the albums.
Glad we at least get the LPU tracks! But not including it in the full package meant I went for the vinyl box instead of full package.
Agreed on this. Feels like the only minor misstep here. As it is, I am waiting for the price of the Vinyl bundle to drop in price a little so I can at least have the LPU tracks on Vinyl. Bummer that they couldn't toss that into the Super deluxe as well.

And yeah I hate it too. people are calling it Resolution right now, no idea why. Maybe they just thought the title fit it
Unless you have access to the box set, it's a guess. An educated guess, but a guess.

Unreal that these songs were just sitting on hard drives for 20 years. These are the definition of hidden gems. Blown away at the quality of these. Forcing myself not to listen to these clips non stop but they are SO good.

Sounds great so far! It’s classic LP. You just can’t go wrong with that! Really excited to hear this bad boy. It’s just like the old days of New LP music release day. Bittersweet but welcome nonetheless.
