So jealous Europe gets this set. I hope on the US tour they keep all of these songs and just rotate them within 3 setlists so we can at least see the good stuff (With You, Runaway, APFMH, Papercut, Points, FTI). Dropping any of those would be sad.

With You for this tour was pretty predictable, I thought they'd play that after Shinoda in 2010 said "I know a lot of fans want to hear With You, for example" and then in an LPU chat he said he knows we want to hear With You and older songs. Check out the new LPU M&G passes! As we mentioned before, Adam from the LPU/LPHQ is out with the band on their European Tour right now and is providing updates along the way in the form of blog posts. So in addition to the DSP's for the tour chronicling each show, we'll also get to read about the tour from Adam. This is the first time someone with the band has gone on tour with them and provided these sort of updates to the fans. Pretty badass! The blogs give a good look into the life of the crew each show from when they first arrive to when they finally leave and travel to the next show. A town where he grew up in Illinois called Galesburg is featuring blog posts from him, and his first one from the Rock In Rio and Pinkpop shows is up to read here. Titled "Portugal to The Netherlands to Denmark", the post talks about his encounters during the day at the shows, people he meets, and more. A sample: "After Lisbon, we hopped on a 2am flight and flew 3 hours to Landgraaf, The Netherlands. That 3 hour flight was our only chance to sleep before load in. Landgraaf was great and the crowd was huge. I had the chance to meet up with a bunch of LPU members from Belgium during the day, and even watched the first few songs with them. It's always fun to be in the crowd to watch the show and watch the fans' reaction to the band. When the show ended, I got on the bus, crawled into my bunk, and slept for 13 hours. At that point I had only slept about 3 hours total in the previous 3 days, so I needed that sleep." Our show pages have the setlists, lol

Come on you can't even compare the RHCP setlists to the LP setlists, omg lol. They change openers almost every show and randomly play songs they haven't played in years. I've seen totally different setlists each of the 3 times I've seen them in the past 2.5 months. At my first two shows I got a song they haven't played in like 4-5 years and another only played once in that time period. Hey and Wet Sand. I see totally different stuff each show I see them play even though they keep probably 4-6 of the same songs each time. Good setlists and they keep some songs the same but they change WAY more than LP does. RHCP's random rotation encompasses a hell of a lot more songs than LP's 3 set rotation does. Bad analogy in my opinion.

LP gets varying set times everywhere. Some places they get an hour and 15, some they get an hour and 45. This doesn't mean they'll change anything show wise. They'll keep the same setlist.

That is their big yearly concert event, not the TV studio where they film their bands doing one song performances.

The third show of the Summer European Tour for Linkin Park takes us to the Strandtangen v/Skive Lystbådehavn in Skive, Denmark, where the band will be playing at the Skive Festival on May 30th. LP has played at this festival once before - in 2008 (show page here). That was the first show of the 2008 Summer European Tour and featured a new setlist for the band - one that included 'Reading My Eyes' being played for the first time since 2006. It also had a few new intros (like 'Lying From You') and outros added to the songs. The festival also had a nice catwalk into the crowd for the band Sadly no DSP of that show (or the entire Summer 2008 European Tour) was ever released! Linkin Park first played in Denmark in 2001 at the Pumphuset in one of their first hand full of European headline shows. In 2003, they were supposed to return to the Forum in Copenhagen but as we know, the full European Tour ended up being canceled. So in 2007, they opened their Minutes To Midnight European Tour in Copenhagen (show page here), debuting 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'The Little Things Give You Away' for the first time. That was the first show Phoenix ever sang at! After Skive in 2008, they played in Herning on the A Thousand Suns European Tour (show page here) in 2010. This show marks the second time in Skive for the band and their fifth show in Denmark. In Lisboa a few days ago (show page here) we saw the debut of a new setlist entitled 'MAIN FESTIVAL SET' so we don't expect anything to change until at least the Berlin show on June 5th. That's actually a good thing considering this is one of the most popular setlists the band has done in quite some time! The Pinkpop setlist of course remained the same (show page here) other than Mike playing the "Album Transition Intro" to 'What I've Done'. A few things worth mentioning about this set - 'A Place For My Head' has opened the last two shows (Lisboa and Pinkpop) and it's the first time that the song has OPENED a show since mid-2001. 'With You' was played for the first time in almost SIX years (the last time being Japan in 2006). If you watch the interview from the SIC Radical TV broadcast of Rock In Rio (which is available to download in our Video section in the forums), you'll hear Chester talk about how the band wanted to do a mix of "greatest hits and a few new songs, but play some older songs that people will be excited to hear." And excited is right - 'With You', 'Runaway', 'Points Of Authority', 'Papercut', 'From The Inside', 'Somewhere I Belong' and more have been getting really good receptions at the past two shows. And don't forget the 'Sabotage' bridge during 'Bleed It Out', which has become a huge hit already with hardcore LP fans. Check this video from Pinkpop: The questions for this preshow post are - are you excited the band has brought a setlist to Europe that has some older songs? Would you change anything about this set? Yeah LP can pull out any song at any time and people will like it. Step Up in 2004, Reading My Eyes in 2006/2008. 2002 had And One and Step Up. 2012 or 2013 needs And One or Carousel Yes the TV audio is a little better (plus different angles on the video so it makes it interesting to watch) because it's not mixed as loud. It's the quieter SIC Radical mix as always (2007, 2008 Lisboa shows for example) but I like it. Webcast audio usually isn't the best. The DSP will be the best audio but I will say the TV version is better than the webcast at least in my opinion. EDIT: My original comments up above were based on the small clip I heard in the preview of the download. The crowd in the TV version is WAY louder and overall the mix is much better - listening to the full show now. Awesome stuff. APFMH \m/

Shinoda said the first remix will come before June. Still a few days left. I also already preordered through LP.com before this launched - they started this a bit too late :/
