  1. The other they open with should be Faint, with a new extended intro. Imagine how insane that would be.
  2. Just curious, what does everyone expect of the rotating sets? I think that they will rotate 3 totally new setlists, and maybe use older songs to open sets (What I've Done, No More Sorrow, One Step Closer), similar to what they did on Project Revolution '08.
  3. http://b.imagehost.org/0088/lpuchat.jpg from a previous thread, where Mike says that they are working on rotating sets. so what do you expect of them? for me, i think they will do 3 different sets, like they did on Project Revolution '08, and I wouldn't mind if they kept the same openers/set structures from '08. What do you think
  4. shouldnt this be in the live section?
  5. 1. Runaway 2. Lying From You 3. Somewhere I Belong 4. With You 5. Wake 2.0 6. Given Up 7. Papercut 8. Points of Authority 9. Don’t Stay 10. When They Come For Me (with Empty Spaces Intro) 11. 6. Points of Authority, Somewhere I Belong, Don't Stay, Valentine's Day, My December, and debuting Robot Boy now you
  7. yes, that is what I have in mind, I think there gonna stick with that for the 1st half of the tour, then switch into a new one halfway through, like in AUS. Hell, I wouldnt mind if they played each setlist every other night.
  8. What if they open with What I've Done, then play Hit The Floor, Runaway, Figure .09, With You, and APFMH?
  9. What I think they should do if they decide to do rotating setlists, is something like this: setlist A: the setlist that has been used during the European Tour, drop New Divide and Given Up, then add Lying From You and Points of Authority. Also possibly dropping The Messenger for Easier To Run setlist B: the setlist used at the second London show, drop Given Up and Lying From You for Runaway or Figure .09, also trade out Iridescent and Leave Out All The Rest for Blackout and Pushing Me Away setlist C: the setlist used for the second part of the Australian Tour, drop Given Up and No More Sorrow for With You and A Place For My Head. Also make BITS a main part of the set will this make you guys stop whining?
  10. Well, apparently Linkin Park has been soundchecking Robot Boy, indicating that it will be debuted in the US. Also, Chester has said, after fans have gotten used to the album, that he may want to play ATS in its entirety. If they do this, I doubt that they will do it on the upcoming North American Tour. Instead, I think that they are going to wait for their Summer European Tour (Download Festival) then play it like that for the rest of the tour. How do you think the setlist would change if they played ATS entirely? I think that they would play 5 older songs to start the show off, full ATS, then an encore 5 of their biggest hits (this would fit perfectly because the current setlist is about 25 songs). Discuss
  11. According to Chester, there will most likely not be a Project Revolution 2011, because he said that the tour for A Thousand Suns was more about putting together the best show, visually, and musically where the band is at and are not interested in doing big branded tours in the future. He also mentioned maybe changing the way they tour, and we know that Linkin Park has a history of doing Summer in the US while supporting an album. So, I have an idea for what they should do, a North America Stadium Tour (football stadiums). But It would not be like Project Revolution. While Project Revolution tours ampitheatres in smaller cities, Linkin Park would only play a smaller number of large cities, say, 10 stadium shows. If they did a stadium tour like they did Project Revolution, it would bomb. But, if they only played a few cities, then people would come from all over the region to see the show, probably having sold-out dates at most of the shows. So are you for this or against this? discuss
  12. I have a new guess on the setlist, considering that they said it would be a mix of older stuff and newer stuff, and that on their last tour, the European and North American Tour Set varied, I'm predicting something along the lines of: No More Sorrow From The Inside Papercut Wretches and Kings Given Up Somewhere I Belong Points of Authority Jornada del Muerto Waiting for The End Breaking The Habit Numb The Radiance Burning In The Skies Fallout The Catalyst Shadow of The Day Crawling In The End One Step Closer - - - - Empty Spaces When They Come For Me New Divide What I've Done Faint Bleed It Out
  13. They may keep the same setlist, but i would opt they take out The Messenger and put another older song earlier in the set (Points of Authority, From The Inside), then begin rotating Iridescent with Blackout, Breaking The Habit, and Leave Out All The Rest. They will keep Burning In The Skies as a main part of the setlist because it is the next single.
  14. Well, this will be my first LP show (Chicago) and I really hope they do something along the lines of this: What I've Done Papercut Lying From You Given Up Somewhere I Belong No More Sorrow Points of Authority Jornada del Muerto Waiting For The End Blackout Numb The Radiance Burning In The Skies Fallout The Catalyst Shadow of The Day In The End Bleed It Out - - - - Empty Spaces When They Come For Me Crawling New Divide Faint One Step Closer
  15. Live intro to No More Sorrow. simply epic
  16. EDIT: While looking over the setlists for the 2010 Tour http://lplive.net/setlistssongs/2010tour.php I noticed that on one of the set's (2nd night London) No More Sorrow was to be rotated out with Points of Authority and Somewhere I Belong. I think, based on the setlist for the Australian Leg, that this would be a reasonable set: 1. The Requiem 2. Wretches and Kings 3. Papercut / Lying From You 4. Given Up 5. What I've Done 6. No More Sorrow / Points of Authority / Somewhere I Belong 7. From The Inside 8. Jornada del Muerto 9. Waiting For The End 10. Wisdom, Justice, and Love+Iridescent / Breaking The Habit / Leave Out All The Rest / Blackout / Robot Boy 11. Numb 12. The Radiance 13. Burning In The Skies 14. Fallout 15. The Catalyst 16. Shadow of The Day 17. In The End 18. Bleed It Out - - - - 19. Empty Spaces 20. When They Come For Me 21. Crawling 22. New Divide 23. Faint 24. One Step Closer *when Robot Boy is played it will be put in front of Jornada/Waiting because of the album. so, if they end up doing this setlist, what songs would you like to hear at your show (stick to this setlist)?
  17. I think that poll is a deciding factor in the new setlist. i think that they are going to keep the most voted for non-A Thousand Suns tracks in the setlist, then replace the songs that were not as well recieved at the shows by the fans (No More Sorrow, Given Up, and unfortunatly, What I've Done), then add in some more shit off of Hybrid Theory/Metora in there place (Don't Stay, Somewhere I Belong, Points of Authority, A Place For My Head), take out Iridescent, then go Robot Boy/Jornada del Muerto/Waiting For The End. That would be a pretty sweet ass setlist if you ask me.
  18. Bought my tickets last weekend. I will be there with my girlfriend and 2 other friends. Can't wait! Unfortunately my dad (or any of my friends parents) won't let us go to the Summit because of homework. Oh well, I'll survive.
  19. I've been watching the setlist for A Thousand Suns and it looks as though it has been changing each leg of the tour: European Leg/1st Part of Australlia Leg: The Requiem/Wretches and Kings Papercut Given Up New Divide Faint Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me No More Sorrow Jornada del Muerto/Waiting For The End Wisdom, Justice, and Love/Iridescent Numb The Radiance/Breaking The Habit Shadow of The Day Crawling One Step Closer - - - - - Fallout/The Catalyst The Messenger In The End What I've Done Bleed It Out More recently, on the second part of the Australlia Leg, they've changed it up a little: The Requiem/Wretches and Kings Lying From You Given Up What I've Done No More Sorrow From The Inside Jornada del Muerto/Waiting For The End Blackout Numb The Radiance/Burning In The Skies Fallout/The Catalyst Shadow of The Day In The End Bleed It Out - - - - Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me Crawling New Divide Faint One Step Closer It seems like they are changing the setlist up every once and awhile. I'm honestly hoping they change the set up again for the Chicago show that I am going to, maybe include some more old shit, like Somewhere I Belong, Don't Stay, Points of Authority. So, based on how the setlist has evolved so far, how do you think there going to change it up for North America? discuss
