  1. Shortening With You is never cool Also the return of "Come on!" so fuking extreme
  2. GATS started a little shaky but it seems like the show is running smoothly now.
  3. It is not soft and i don't think that is the complaint most were having. It sounds like all their other shit. This sound could easily slot in between LitE and IMR on Living Things. They had a big PR campaign saying we hate current pop rock and then they go and release this garbage. GatS is a superior song in every way and actually represents their claims. Also people saying it is radio friendly. Radio friendly now days must mean using no creativity on lyrics and having just plain bad mixing. I know it is rare for LP to make decent lyrics, but this is probably their worst song lyrically since Somewhere i Belong. In fact Hit the Floor has better Lyrics.
  4. This is exactly what i did not want to hear. I hope Guilty All the Same is not the outlier of the album. UiG sounds like a song from Living Things in my opinion, and Living Things sucked...
  5. Shields is going to GSP a whooping, thats for sure. The timing for Remember The Name in the trailer was perfect.
  6. I heard Iridesent on Tripple M yesterday afternoon. Tipple M is an Australian radio channel, which mainly plays the newest and coolest rock songs. So i was a bit surprised to hear Iridesent in it's entire length. I also heard Wretches and Kings a few weeks back. The speech at the beginning was removed though. Stangely the only time i hear The Catalyst and Waiting for the End is on the pop stations, like Today FM.
  7. I was at sydney night 2. The best live song was easily Blackout. It is truly menacing live. Also I have so much more respect for Chester. He literally sprints around jumping while singing/screaming. It is amazing. Watching YouTube does not give Chester justice. Also the atmosphere during numb, in the end, new divide, what ive done, bleed it out, faint and one step closer is incredible. 12, 000 people jumping and singing in the arena. Anyway that was my first concert so happy it was linkin park. Ps the last 2 dead letter circus songs aren't bad.
  8. I'm going to the show. My first concert at that. I hope they play Blackout.
  9. They better play blackout on Wednesday. I just got my tickets.
  10. Can't go to the concert. Can you go to the summit even if you arn't going to the concert?
  11. Hey there, my first post so be kind. Well anyway i keep noticing people complaining and generally making a fuss about Chester's voice. People say its weakening and he can't scream anymore. So i decided to do a very quick analysis of 2 performances of Faint. I chose Faint because they consistantly play it and it involves general singing and scream vocals. I compared Rock am Ring 2004 with Rock And Coke 2009. Now Both these concerts i assume are not edited like Live in Texas and Milton Keynes obviously is so there no good for this. Now after listening to the 2 preformances i conclude that his voice really is not any different. Like his screams in 2004 were a little more intense but really there is not much of a difference. So now i think, his voice is almost the same in 2009/10 as it was in 2004. So why do people claim he is loosing his voice? The answer actually has nothing to do with chester. Linkin Park has changed it's style sonically. The new softer rythems Linkin Park produces incourages softer vocal performances by Chester. I think his degrading voice is more illusion then fact. However i will not argue about alot of the 2008 performances, Chesters voice was weak. I guess it is a product of too much touring. But in 2009/10 his voice is almost the same as 2004. Discuss.
