  1. I would've liked to see them but i didnt have the money (they played 2 shows right after Melbourne Night2).But muse were about the same price as LP in australia. But im pretty sure increasing ticket prices are because of demand for the band, i mean muse arent as well known as LP in the U.S (i think) so there ticket prices would be cheaper, cause not as many people know them/want to see them. And people are willing to pay those prices to see their favourite bands so yeah.
  2. No offense to you North American guys. But your complaining over tickets that are 85$? well i bought seat tickets for australia and that was $100aud... im pretty sure pit tickets were like.. $130 plus?
  3. I can't agree entirely on the support acts bit. Dead letter circus were absolutely great at melbourne, but yeah judging from the comments made about "The Art" or whatever they werent very good, if not downright crap.
  4. 3:58-4:26 - Chester, layered in 3-part harmonies (on the live version, Chester sings the high part, Phoenix sings the middle part, and Mike sings the low part) Didnt even realise phoenix was singing o.O. kinda like how they did hands held high i guess.
  5. oh yeah opening band was dead letter circus. Those guys were a pretty good opener.
  6. Oh yeah i forgot to add. Mike was playing guitar on BITS (specifically the solo bit or whatever) but he was playing something during the verses and stuff as well.
  7. just got back from the show, blackout and bits were awsome. btw chester and brad played percussion on blackout. Brad only started playing drums after the bridge and it seemed like phoenix and brad were playing keyboards or something throughout the song. @robot boy yeah joe was playing the mpc solo bit in blackout.
  8. woo this is gonna be my first ever LP concert. really excited =]
  9. Thats wierd. I wonder why they decided to up the guitars on that show and not on the others?
  10. haha yeah one octave and like two notes are way too hard to play xD
  11. Yeah, i guess they wanted the strings to stand out more i guess.. but i still think they shouldn't have completely taken the lead guitar part out (or turned it down to the point where you cant even hear it)..
  12. I'm not sure about the other shows, but i was listening to the Manchester dsp and it sounds like they've decided to take out the guitars in the song.
  13. Yeah i thought so. I like how he sings so clear on this compared to Little things give you away where he just sort of mumbles the words.
  14. I was just wondering if phoenix actually sings on this song because i recently listened to one of the dsps from 2008 and it sounds like theres a third voice singing near the end of the song with mike and chester. I cant find any decent quality clips of it on youtube but on some of them i can sort of make out phoenix near his mic but i cant tell if his singing or not. Oh yeah this is also my first post on LPlive xP
